A great restaurant in an interesting location. Really classy Chinese food with some different menu items
One of the best Chinese restaurants I’ve been to in London.
Very disappointing experience. After waiting one hour, was told there was a problem in the kitchen and therefore orders were delayed. Not even the starters were served. However, throughout the entire time, many takeaway meals were coming out of the kitchen for home delivery. Furthermore, other tables were being served, even ones that ordered after mine. I don’t understand how restaurants prioritise takeaway orders over customers waiting at the restaurant for a meal. Wouldn’t recommend this place.
An amazing restaurant for NYE. Three friends & I had dinner here on New Year’s Eve, enjoyed fantastic food and drinks then walked to see the fireworks from primrose hill at midnight. The staff were so friendly and went well above & beyond what we expected. I would highly recommend to anyone!
Despite being drawn to the fact it’s a restaurant floating in Regent Canal, the food is actually delicious and the portions are perfect.
Food was not good
I took my boyfriend for his birthday and everything was absolutely perfect! All the staff are super polite. Fast service and the food delicious!
This is a lovely atmospheric place for a special occasion, being on the canal and with the Chinese lamps. The staff are welcoming and warm, the food delicious and good quality for which prices are not too bad, and generally there is a feelgood factor and international spirit. We really enjoyed our birthday evening though disappointed that Open Table did not seem to have made the booking with the restaurant and they had no record...so we didn't get the birthday treatment - which we had forewarned!
Great place. Arrived early and given a table although service was not open yet. It's the little things.
Quick polite and exactly right for a 3 generation family dinner. Thank you
The restaurant informed open table that we hadn’t arrived. We had
We don't live far and we decided to try it. The service is good and they try to please you. However the major setback was the food. The first appetizer we ordered was vegetarian dim sum and they came boiling on the outside and frozen on the inside. Obviously they were very embarrassed. The rest of the food was oily. Shame.
The soft noodles with beef was amazing but not on the menu. Make sure to order it. The fried duck is one of the best in London.
It was the staff who made our visit great, they couldn't do enough for us and let us decorate the table for a friends 30th which was greatly appreciated. The food was very tasty if slightly expensive but would definitely recommend as a special treat/birthday venue. Thanks for all your help!
Food and service excellent, waiters very friendly and respectfull. Only one négative point, 15pounds on the bill for the service.
The service was terrible, they got wrong 2 dishes out of 3. The AC was on 14. We had to wait at least 30 minutes between one dish and another. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone, such a waste of potential.
It wa samazing
It was amazing, the food was lovely and my bestfriend enjoyed getting out after work
It was our first time at this restaurant. The service was outstanding. We arrived too early, was greeted by a lovely lady who advised it wasn’t an issue. We were seated straight away and given the drinks menu. They offer a good selection of wines, Prosecco (which we went for) champagne, spirits (we also had a couple of whisky’s for him and Cognac for myself to end the night) and cocktails. The service from our waitress was exceptional. She always refilled our glass, made sure we were okay and gave us her opinion on our choice of food which we needed and appreciated. The restaurant, surroundings and location made our experience one to remember. Another plus point was the parking which wasn’t an issue. Thank you for a great night. We’ll be back soon.
The food was excellent as was the service.
This is such a lovely peaceful environment to have a slap up Chinese meal. Great food and cocktails and the service was excellent
Nice food, mains were delicious. Restaurant rather tired and dated. Swift service- the duck pancakes came immediately so must be cooked beforehand. Not somewhere you’d linger. Wines rather pricey-especially with 12.5% on top.
We ordered the crispy chilli beef which had no beef but fried batter that was soaked in syrup and very sweet. The salmon was a tiny piece of salmon and just had teriyaki sauce poured over it. No flavour whatsoever. Was extremely disappointed as it was expensive and the food was below average. I still left hungry and my stomach was hurting that same evening after my food and I felt very sick the whole night.
This is how lemon chicken should be! Perfection. The dim sum was very good as well. Highly recommend.
This restaurant lived up to our expectations. The food was spectacular and the customer service was top notch. I would definitely recommend.
Really pleasant lunch. Food was overall very good (some dishes better than others) and service particularly attentive and kind. Kid friendly
Food was excellent, service slow and I was presented with and paid the wrong bill. I have to circle back to sort this out.
It was a nice experience dining on the boat but we will not return. The food was fine but it felt expensive compared to what we pay in china town for the same quality, especially a fruit juice for the children at nearly £5 each. My husband also had a small fly in both his lagers.
We had a wonderful family meal here to celebrate grandsons birthday. The people there could not have been nicer. Fantastic atmosphere and setting. He loved it. We loved it. Decided it will be a tradition!
had a fantastic evening there
Amazing food... the calamari, the peking duck, Singapore noodles.... the best I’ve tasted.
The service was very good. All staff very attentive & helpful.
I’ll go back again
Rushed us to eat even though our booking was made for 10:30
I’m not even sure the food was fresh.
Dear Jason Thank you so much for your visit last Sunday. Firstly, we can assure you that the bad smell you experienced got nothing to do with our food but emanated from the canal water which we're currently working with the Authority to resolve by dredging the area and we try to do it asap. Secondly, we're sincerely sorry to make you feel that our service is rush. To find more info about our opening hours please kindly go to our official website: fengshang.co.uk Feng Shang Princess
Quiet and atmospheric retreat on the edge of Regent’s Park. Loved it !
I love starters and wasabi prawns are just unbelievable tasty with along soft shell crab. Over all my night was great and I will return to try more food next time.
A beautiful restaurant with delicious food, definitely a great pick for date night! I highly recommend the Feng Shang Platter of your fond of seafood, very pretty the way it was presented and tasted as good as it looked! Service was fast and the staff were very attentive, we had a lovely time and would definitely recommend!
The location is wunderfull but the food is sorry less than average. We were 4 Adults and one Teen and we all had different meals. Our comon opinion is: go there enjoy the outstanding location, but do not expect a lot about the quality of the food.
Unreasonably priced takeaway food in unique setting.
The restaurant is unfortunately run down, crowded and if you are sat by the kitchen, it’s not very relaxing
Food was not great, beef was full of fat and gristle and had to send it back. Was overcharged on bill for a whiskey I never had as waitress got this confused with an aperitif but this was rectified. Staff were courteous and helpful.
