Feng Sushi - West Hampstead
The newest Feng Sushi delivers sushi to West Hampstead locals and serves up irresistible dishes for eat in.
Feng Sushi West Hampstead, delivers fresh great tasting sushi to West Hampstead, Kilburn, South Hampstead, Finchley Road and Kensal Rise.
This restaurant and sushi delivery is ideal for not only couples and groups of friends, but families as we have an extensive MSC approved kids menu at great value.
Great food. Super tasty.
Well located restaurant with a varied menu. Unfortunately, even though it wasn’t busy....we sat around waiting for quite a while & then having ordered it took quite some time for our sashimi & sushi to arrive. When the vegetable Katsu curry turned up it was lukewarm at best & had t go back, also the miso soup was just warm. We had good expectations for Feng Sushi.....but the experience didn’t meet our hopes. Must have just been unlucky 😩
Great value sushi and lots of veggie options although obviously at these prices it’s not going to be the freshest stuff you’ve had. Nevertheless we are repeat offenders as it’s easy to fix that sushi craving without breaking the bank. Service can be quite slow as staff seem to be constantly dealing with takeaway orders which is a shame.
The food took ages, it was cold in there, the waitress was clearly new. She was sweet but terrible. She didnt come over once in the 20mins after we had finished our food, and there didnt seem to be anyone there to help her. We had to ask twice, till she did it. The food was nice but nothing special.
Went there for a family lunch as we were in the neighbourhood - we had a late lunch but still were surprised that only 2 tables (including ours) were taken, service was prompt but somewhat detached. Otherwise, the food is pleasant but with no sparkle, udon portions are massive.
Excellent range of food, fast service and good value overall.
The food is always impeccable and my girlfriend and I love the cosy vibrancy of the restaurant. The staff are always smiling and incredibly hospitable. Thank you for the delicious meal and we shall certainly be back there soon!
Poor service- after telling the waitress I had a tastecard I was immediately told I was required to have a booking and therefore could not dine; baring in mind there was 1 other person in the restaurant at the time. I did however have a booking and showed it and was told it wasn't on the system.. I almost felt as though I was looked down on for this. The food was at a poor standard and did not taste nice. I have been to the Hammersmith branch many times; the food has been beautiful and service has been lovely. I will not be going back not would I recommend this branch to anyone.
Couple of rude customers kind of hurt the experience. Be kind people!
Tasteless imitation of Japanese cuisine in a dull dining room.
Great sushi option in West Hampstead! Will definetly go back.
Been several times - reliable sushi in a lovely part of NW London. The brown rice sushi (a speciality of Feng Sushi as far as I'm aware) is perhaps insulting to purists but delicious - sticky brown rice with crunchy poppy seeds provide a modest foil for whatever fishy (or veg) filling you have picked. It was particularly good this visit, and I'll definitely be back for more.
Slow and poor service, we felt like we were forgotten. Food was alright but not made with love. Luckily they made a mistake and thought we had some local loyalty card so the food was half price which eased the disappointment.
My three kids loved the kids menu. Went at lunchtime there was only one waitress but she managed all the her covers well. Food was good quality, restaurant was clean and decor cool.
Should be a takeaway restaurant, as they were more interested in fulfilling takeaway orders than serving seated customers.
Food was great as usual. I have just one complaint - they should organise their takeaway better as there were so many takeaway orders on Saturday night that we were kept waiting for over 1 hour for our food without being informed of that. Possibly they should improve on this point - but food wise it's been great as usual.
Had a really lovely meal. Staff were really welcoming and the food was delicious!
Good for weekday dining - it’s a bit quiet so ideal for chatting but can lack atmosphere. Food is fairly reliable and is quality fresh sushi.
Good value with tastecard, good food and friendly staff
Delicious sushi. I'd highly recommend the dragon roll
Several things on the menu not available
Good food, the wine list is very short (a choice of 3 white wine bottles) though. Service might be better.
Excellent food - will definitely return. Sushi was very fresh and the staff lovely.
Really nice dinner at reasonable price. Service was efficient and pleasant. Recommend the glass of rose wine and the salmon pieces selection.
I went all the way to the restaurant and when I arrived there it was closed... There was a note on the door saying that they were closed just for Thursday. It's kind of obvious that if the restaurant is going to be closed you shouldn't take bookings!!! I'm a Sushi addict who recently move to West Hampstead and it was going to be my first time.... Very disappointing!
Great little place. If you like sushi you will love this place. Great value for money to.
We had a lovely dinner, the food was fresh and well presented, the waiter was very attentive and pleasant. And taking into account that they accept Tastecard it makes it a very good value for money. We'll definitely be back
Average Japanese but enjoyable
Delicious flavoursome healthy and beautiful food with plenty of choice for those who don't like fish. Good mix of hot and cold choices. Pleasant airy and open restaurant. Perfect level of efficient, knowledgeable, friendly but non-intrusive service - and they do delivery - hurray! Great for lunch or dinner with cosmopolitan friends who love healthy food, or for a date as many dishes are perfect for sharing. Clientele eating-in were all adult couples or friends, though the restaurant layout is also child-friendly.
Be careful. Booked for 5 persons and was confirmed. 15 minutes later when we are already there, they said sorry no tables !
The sushi is amazing. The price is fare for the quality of the food and of the place
Loved the meal! Big fan of sushi and hadn't realised there was a restaurant like this so close to me. Will definitely be back :)
I had a lovely time with a friend over for early dinner. It was fresh and delicious.
Very good food, good service and value for money. Roberta, the waitress, was very kind and accommodating with our "demanding" child requests.
A very casual and relax place with satisfactory food range and quality
The service was perfect and the food even better. They were all the time trying than we feel comfortable and they put a lot attention to every details. I'm very glad and I will repeat soon for sure.
Good reasonably priced sushi.
Food was great quality, and presentation was also lovely. Everything tasted fresh, and the hot items we ordered were clearly cooked to order and not reheated. However the service was poor: despite being one of two groups dining there, we got very little service when needed (when we wanted to order extra drinks etc) and there was poor attention to detail (drinks being served in different sized glasses). The server forgot to serve a few items and needed reminding of the menu. Overall, great food but there is definitely room for improvement with regards to the quality of service!
I'm afraid big portions of sushi doesn't do it for me. I like mine bite size and not just mouthfuls of rice. The squid was all batter and as for the sashimi...makes one wonder how fresh it is when there are chunks of lemon on the plate. The agedashi tofu was swimming in a big bowl of broth which if you did drink it all, you'd be forever trying to quench your thirst!
Sorry, not for me
Positive experience. Only issue: coarse language from an Italian cook being shouted from the kitchen
