ferdiesfoodlab is proud to announce a new season in partnership w/ the London Cooking Project based in Battersea. Seating up to 40 people, the London Cooking Project is an exciting new food hub uses 100% renewable energy and dedicated to community and sustainability. 

We’ll be running de-formalised social banquets monthly. Come along with your friends, meeting new people and eating together, join the revolution. It’s BYO! (we suggest pairings to go with the food) We collect allergy information beforehand and design a bespoke menu for the evening. (A vegetarian option available)

ferdiesfoodlab is hosted by Simon Fernandez. With 7 years experience on the London popup and supper club scene he’s regarded as one of it’s pioneers.

It's a banquet! There are NO tables for 2! Everyone sits at one of the banquet tables and gets stuck in to the food, the company and their wine!!!

I went to meet friends (they encouraged me to come join them at this supper club) I wasn't sure what to expect. What I found was a warm atmosphere and lots of sociable guests I had a really nice evening. I didn't go with any great expectations about the food but I was very pleasantly surprised, the food was really really good, original in a lot of respects and very well done! The staff were polite and the tunes were fun too making for an great all round night!! Will definite return with frineds!

I booked a table for 6 people using opentable. The supper club contacted me direct to ask me various details about the guests/booking. I trotted off to obtain the information about my guests and sent it back by email. I followed up with another email in the days before the dinner but heard nothing. The day before the dinner I texted the chef who only at that point told me there was a problem with the venue and they were not cooking on that night unless I have a venue. Thanks for the advance notice! I couldn't findi a table for 6 on a Saturday night at an alternative restaurant/club (not a half decent one in Central London anyway) with 24 hours notice!! What bad customer service. Won't be booking again.

Love ferdies foodlab! This was my second time round & it was a fantastic experience again! The food was delicious, and the informal atmosphere make for a really easy night of talking and drinking and fun! Great host, great staff.
We will definitely be back!

When a menu includes a dish called 'Will you marry me' slow roasted lamb you know you are onto a winner! The food at Ferdies was of high quality, the dishes were interesting and unique and the atmosphere was fantastic. I really appreciated the wine list sent prior to the meal as it encouraged me to try some new wines and ensured they went well with the food. The welcome glass of bubbles ensured the other guests mingled before being seated and our table involved lots of unforced interaction.
Unfortunately my boyfriend was unable to make the dinner but this provides me with an excellent excuse to return in a couple of weeks time!
