The food and especially the Weiner schnitzel was great! Not sure why they charge 15% for service though, the highest we've paid in London. I guess they don't pay their waiters well and rely on us chipping in.
Definitely one to visit more than once!! Had a great lunch!

Our long-awaited visit to Fischer's did not disappoint. Luckily EOTHO prompted us to try the schnitzel and other Austrian delights in the ambience of a comfortable Viennese cafe, with pleasantly spaced tables. Delicious food, a good wine list and professional service at 15% made for an enjoyable dinner : this may stretch your budget but the set menu is good value, I thought the flavours of the cod dish clashed a bit but the schnitzel with added potato salad was excellent and the dessert cake was fabulous. Super for a special occasion or worth a visit for cake and coffee.

Booked the table for my birthday before going to the show at Regent Park. I’ve mentioned the time we need to leave to our waitress but the service was still slow, probably because it’s on a Wednesday and they’re on the government scheme with 50% off.

This is the second time that I have been to this lovely restaurant and I would recommend it to anyone who wants to enjoy a unique atmosphere whilst eating fine quality food. Prices are very reasonable for the luxurious setting and the service is attentive and pleasant. During a Covid-19 pandemic, the steps they have taken to check customers temperatures and provide hand sanitiser were greatly appreciated. Can't wait to go back.

A delightful place for dining
A lovely birthday lunch. Service was friendly and efficient and the food was perfect. Lot of precautions being taken, a temperature scan on arrival (simply looking into a iPad type screen) and hand sanitiser by the desk. Seats and tables were wiped down after every diner left.

It was very quiet (understandably) and somehow the bill ended up at nearly £100 for one course each.
The schnitzel was very good, the sausages, not so much.
I'm certain the experience would have been better if the restaurant had been busy.
Fischer's is a milestone, regardless of the timing of the visit: being it a coffee and a cheesecake (btw, not yet available, but outstanding), or a full dinner you will find excellent service, correct food, and very good value.
What an absolutely outstanding first meal out in months. Received such a warm welcome and the service throughout was impeccable and friendly. Wasn't sure what to expect but from start to finish a wonderful meal and service perhaps even better than before due to less tables.
The decor / ambience is really nice. Staff was nice too. It is a great place for coffee and cake. However, I would not go there for lunch or dinner. The Kasespaetzle don't resemble at all what you would get in Austria / Bavaria (+ bland taste, nothing like the real thing). It looked like cheap mac & cheese at a high price. The Schnitzel was made of pork and nothing to rave about, but at prices of a veal Schnitzel. Won't be going back for food.
Go to Fischer's regularly. I like the ambience . Good location.

Reliable, bustling brasserie style. Friendly and efficient service. Good choice of starters and mains with smaller and larger portions. Snitzels were well cooked and with sauce on the side. Fun place.
A wonderful restaurant. The staff are very attentive and the food is superb. The decor is very welcoming and the location is well positioned to go shopping afterwards.
This is a superior restaurant that misses greatness, but only just. The waiters and waitresses are lovely and helpful. The rosti are a must have. The poached eggs were rubbery on the skin, probably from poaching in an acid bath. But they tasted perfect without a him of vinegar. Great streaky bacon ,almost American in flavour, but the sausage was a bit British and boring. The schnitzel is epic. The kippers were bonier than usual and very hard to fillet without leaving bones in the flesh. Maybe I'm being picky about the flaws, considering the overall very high quality. But the place ain't cheap, so I feel okay about being demanding.
The food is very good and the service was excellent. If you desire authentic Austrian food then this is a perfect venue to experience the taste of Austria. The portions are on the small size.

Really like this place as the food is consistent and the atmosphere is great. Let down by the service tonight, it was a great start but once we got tried to order desert we were left to wait, shame.
Most disappointed as was not made aware in advance that we had to vacate our table after 90mins. This ruined what would have been a lovely reunion lunch with a friend who I had not seen for almost 15years. Expected much better service especially for a regular of this restaurant!
Good food and pleasant service, if a little slow at times to take orders. Portions are sizeable; medium schnitzel is quite enough for a normal appetite. Choose the ice cream sundaes for dessert - strudel seemed too much.
