Good choice of fish very well cooked. Prices - on the expensive side, especially for wine. It was rather noisy. We enjoyed our dining experience, will come again!
Excellent food in a relaxed, easy going atmosphere as ever! Thanks again.
Great food served in a good atmosphere and served by staff who really care
Wonderful food and service, a lovely evening. Will definitely go again.
I had a wonderful lunch with friends last week .. the food was freshly cooked and tasty and the glass of wine was very good also .. defibstrly will be returning
Very relaxing lunch, with good service. Food was delicious.
Fishworks is an absolute banker restaurant to visit when it comes to superbly fresh, expertly cooked fish.
The service is excellent, the accompanying wine list both varied and affordable, and the ambience great.
We will go there whenever we visit London - which unfortunately isn't often enough.
Excellent had Frito Misto, the whitebait was delicious (often restaurants serve sprats as whitebait, not the same) and a starter of mussles which were plump - with a slight hint of chilli in the sauce. Quiet at lunch time and staff were friendly and helpful. Also a good lunch menu offered at a reasonable price especially for the quality.
Entering Fishworks Marylebone High Street reminded me of a Belgian fish restaurant in Waterloo, a fishmonger front replete with fresh fish display, and the restaurant at the back. First off, anti-Covid measures were properly in place as ensured by a prior phone call. We were ushered to our table all wearing masks, properly secluded from others, and perused the menu, accompanied by glasses of Prosecco. We chose moules and Brixham fish soup as starters. These were superb. Our mains were lobster tagliatlle and oven-baked sea bass. We drank Sauvignon Blanc and Chablis respectively. For dessert we had sorbet and Irish coffee. Altogether brilliant choices and an outstanding wasting experience.
Love Fishworks, particularly monkfish and chips. Great service, lovely restaurant, great desserts and good value.
Absolutely amazing food value for money well cooked and prepared staff very friendly and willing to help overall experience perfect 100% go again n highly recommend
Great food and service
Great food and value for price. The lunch menu, available even on Sunday, is super. Tables are conveniently distanced.
Great restaurant and absolutely delicious food, definitely recommend
We had a lovely meal with great service and lots of space in the restaurant.
Super menu, delicious food and lovely staff - thank you!
This is a heaven on earth for seafood lovers! Amazing oysters, seafood platters and wine list.
Seafood lover, it was my first time going and I’d definitely go back. The oysters were just too delicious. Loved the main food too as it was freshly made with great presentations.
Good quality and excellent
Fish not fresh
Fantastic food great service with humour despite the Covid masks everything clean and safe great place for fish lovers .
My daughters first birthday the waitress was so kind food was delicious
Excellent restaurant with great food and staff. 10/10 would eat here again
Decent and fresh selection for Fruits de Mer. The grilled scallops could be better!
This is the second time I have had lunch at the Fishworks in Marylebone in the last 4 weeks and have really enjoyed the experience on both occasions.
On my first visit I had beautifully cooked scallops for my starter and an excellent Cod for my main course. On my second visit I really enjoyed some small fishcakes followed by a tasty Seabass. The side dishes, such as carrots, broccoli and baby potatoes are equally beautifully cooked. I would also recommend a glass of the French Sauvignon Blanc.
The atmosphere is relaxed and friendly and I will certainly be visiting the venue again.
An impressive venue, good seafood, expensive but that’s Marylebone.
The place is dirty and grubby .
I ordered 6 oysters and got 5 with no oyster in the 6 the 6th one .
Really dissatisfied with the food and service and did not stay for main course left and went somewhere else .
Will not recommend or return .
Really good quality meal in unusual but pleasant surroundings.
Always good value with a comprehensive but not over-priced wine list
Had a lovely lunch - would recommend the mixed grilled fish platter
Staff very particular with cleaning / COVID precautions
Excellent fresh fish very well cooked and nicely presented. 😊😊
Took the Sister and Brother in Law for a 35th Wedding Anniversary meal and it was brilliant. Food and service was excellent
The red wine was so warm that we have to ask for an ice bucket to cool it down!
Great food , quick and friendly service would defiantly return
Good food and good atmosphere. Fantastic service.
Well mannered, friendly with expertise advice .
The food was very tasty and came hot to the table .
We had a fantastic meal and would definitely recommend it.
Restaurant was quite buzzy on arrival for a 2.15pm lunch booking on a bank holiday Monday. May have been to do with the 50% offer off the A la carte menu for August. Greeted immediately and show to our table. Waiting staff professional and friendly.
Food was served quickly, scallops were cooked well but lacked some flavour, I couldn't taste any pernod.
Main course halibut when arrived was under cooked was immediately removed and a fresh plate ordered. My partner ordered grilled monkfish instead of it in batter which they were happy to do. The halibut did take time and my partner had finished his lunch by the time mine arrived which was unfortunate.
Over all a positive experience, the service is the high light of the restaurant staff very accommodating. Would I pay full price for this meal probably not.
It was great service and food as well.
I enjoyed very much.
Great lunch on the bank holiday which was the last day of EOTHO. Food was delicious.
we had a great experience, our food was fantastic at a good price and given the Covid 19 situation we have to say we felt very safe as well. Definitely going to book again.
