Would have been five stars, but the coffee machine was broken!
Pleasant lunch. Nice service.Good value for good fish.
The food is incredibly fresh and the grilled sea bass was simply sublime. Good selection on the menu, excellent quality ingredients and very well prepared. Very enjoyable experience
Perfect for quick meal!!! Amazing fish&chips..
Food is great and staff are very helpful. We had the sea bass, for the two of us, for an annual trip to the area, and we'll definitely go again.
It was a nice evening; at the beginning we were rushed to place our order but then when food came with ingredient I could not eat, they very kindly offered to change it for me which made it a far more pleasant experience!
Great fresh food, customized to our needs (no garlic and onion). Best place to go if you’re craving delicious fish!
Excellent fixed price menu but the a la carte menu is very tempting too. Scallops Gratin, Brixham Fish Soup, Sea Bream, Cod & chips and it may be impossible to resist a Dover Sole. Great choice of wonderful seafood and an interesting wine list - thoroughly recommended.
Excellent fresh fish, beautifully cooked and presented. It's the way fish should be prepared. I eat here whenever I am in London.
Excellent food and very good service. A great experience.
Second time I had visited this restaurant and was equally pleased as first occasion. Wonderful service and excellent food.
Simple, classy, superbly prepared.
Great food ask for MarieChristophe Champagne, the best!
Well did not go to plan. I booked what I thought was the Christmas Menu, only to be learn that one cant do that OpenTable. There wasn't a box to tick for specific menus. Disappointed and the restaurant did not have ingredients to recreate it. What we did have was nice enough, but my elderly mother and I were very disappointed and it would have been nice if they could have tried to mitigate that, but no effort at all was made in that direction.
Very nice and fresh sea food! Good for the value. Highly recommend it!
Fishworks has a very nice selection of fresh fish at reasonable city prices. The service was outstanding and we enjoyed our dinner very much.
Excellent fresh fish, friendly atmosphere, good service
Family and friends meal. Excellent quantity of scallops to start and some high quality fish. The tuna in particular was cooked to perfection.
Amazing food, lovely staff and will come back again very soon
Charming waiter and lovely food - particularly the ice cream with pedro ximenez on top. Very nice for a special occasion with a friend.
Fishworks tasting platter for two. A bargain at 75 pounds. We left very happy.
Special salmon appetizer and oysters . Great desserts!!
Excellent evening will recommend to others and very authentic and good location
Took a friend for her birthday and have another person who will happily come back again. Always a pleasure, a fish/seafood lovers paradise. In particular, this time the blood orange cheesecake and the wine from Cornwall both surpassed expectations.
Lovely warm welcome from friendly staff. Food impeccable. Lovely wine list and some great wines by the glass.
Great fish soup and very good value set lunch. I like the maritime wines too
Just as good as previous visits - excellent fresh fish, cooked well and served nicely
First time here but will certainly be back. Food excellent, staff friendly and was just a fantastic experience.
One of my favourite restaurants in London. Never disappoints.
Starter was over cooked - found the overall cost rather high
An enjoyable birthday lunch. Food was excellent and service friendly and efficient. Would recommend to anyone.
Some years since I have eaten here (moved from the area) but family were delighted with the menu, the food and wines. Excellent service. Everything was fresh and freshly cooked. Good sized helpings - except for the sides which were a little too exoensive though good quality. I’ll be back to eat and buy fishcakes in the shop!
Wonderful seafood and fine wine in a lovely ambience. Have used Fishworks in Swallow Street many times but this was the first time in High Street Marylebone - but we will definitely be back.
The grilled lobster and the steamed mussels were amazing!! Worth every penny for a seafood entusiast
When I arrived I notified the staff I had a table for two but needed this increased to 3 and although the restaurant was really busy they did not hesitate and asked me if I was comfortable with their choice which I was! We had to try the fish and chips this was a no brainer its a must and we were not disappointed 3 veery happy people!
The food was not bad but the service was realyy really bad.Young waiters without any experience and completely careless to the clients and intent to joke among them.
It was very noisy, too noisy to have a conversation. Otherwise, very good.
The freshest fish I have had in a long time! Everything we ate was stunning, especially the Menai mussels which tasted so fresh. Only downside is no fixed ramp for wheelchairs and two separate steps to get up. We managed on the way in, but were not offered a ramp on the way out - I am sure they must have one. So would suggest staff do offer that if they see a wheelchair. Also no disabled toilets - several shallow steep steps to go down with a turn part way. A member of staff kindly offered her arm to me to go down which was much appreciated, but luckily as it is quite narrow you can use the handrail on one side and the wall on the other to support yourself.
Went for oysters and a seafood feast with bubbles for a friends birthday lunch.
Fabulous seafood , great service.
Would definitely go again.
Wonderful meal in a great setting. Would definetly go again.
