Fleming's Steakhouse - Birmingham MI

We have been coming to Fleming’s for 4 years on New Year’s Eve. The food is amazing, the staff is very nice and kind, and we love the wine selection.

Always a pleasure and wonderful dining experience.
Birthdays are extra special as they accommodate the ultimate celebratory experience.

Didn’t think my food was that good for the cost compared to other restaurants of the same level

Tim was excellent and attentive . Drinks came quickly and were delicious. Chef Devon’s special menu items that we chose were some of the best we have ever had at flemings in all the years we have been going. Managers and all staff were very attentive and friendly. The setup of the restaurant , especially the main entrance was very nice . So pleased! Perfect birthday celebration meal!

We’ve been hoping to dine here, and finally made it happen! Delicious food, delightful service, greatly enjoyed! We’ll be back again!

A lovely place for a special lunch or dinner. The staff are very helpful and pleasant. A contrast to a Fleming’s waiter in Livonia who told us “I don’t have time to tell you what’s on the salad!”.
Food is excellent. Prices are a little excessive. Parking is limited but valet is available for $8.

Hard to beat Fleming’s in Birmingham. My latest visit did not disappoint. Balanced level of attention on the service. Waitress was very friendly and attentive. Outstanding meal. Had the bone-in ribeye. Highly recommend. They also do a very nice wedge salad. Atmosphere was nice despite some loud birthday party folks in the center of the restaurant. One of these days, I am going to try the Tomahawk!

My wife & I dined at Fleming’s for her Birthday. We had reservations and were seated upon arrival and at our table was a Birthday card for my wife. We started off with a bottle of Cabernet. I had a wedge salad and my wife had a Caesar salad - Both were very good. For our entree we split the bone-in ribeye cooked medium and it was prepared perfect and had great flavor. For sides we had onion rings and creamed spinach and both were delicious. For desert my wife had chocolate butter cake which she said was delicious.

We took advantage of the Monday filet and lobster special. Our meal was delicious and the price was a steal! Our server was very friendly and prompt. We will definitely be back soon!

Not a great experience again. Not coming back for awhile. Disappointing.

Everything was great. Food, service and atmosphere very exceptional! Just a little a pricey but worth it for my 21 year wedding anniversary.

We were grateful that our request of a booth was honored. However after being seated it was quite a while to have someone take our drink and food orders. There was also a large table that quite loud. We could clearly hear their conversation over everyone else’s chatter. Not saying they were being obnoxious but it did take away from the ambience of the restaurant. The food was okay but for over $200 it was nothing spectacular. The salad was ice cold, so much so that it seemed like it had been previously frozen. When my fiancé asked for blue cheese with his steak. Instead of it being fresh blue cheese it was more green and was in liquid form.

Anniversary

We celebrated my birthday with some tasty Happy Hour starters and had a delicious Tomahawk steak with a truffle poached lobster tail. Wonderful food with excellent service! We joined their Magnum Diner's Club and will be back soon.

Bad quality and prepared food. Better options for the price.

Went for my 3 year anniversary (which I put in notes) and we were sat at a cozy booth with rose petals, crystals and a card! Service was amazing! The food, even better! Oh not to mention we got a complimentary photo to take home in a cute frame. The desert was also a lovely treat! Overall this was a fabulous dinner!

Sweetest day

Patrick was our waiter and he did a excellent job at making sure we had an awesome time. Our food was delicious. I wanted Chilean sea bass and steak and he made sure I received both... the ambiance was lovely...

We had a great night. Steaks were outstanding as well as the lamb rack special. Calamari appetizer also very good, shrimp cocktail was ok. Service was very attentive, and we had a great time celebrating our daughter's birthday.

It was my fiancé’s birthday and I wanted to treat him to something nice. When we arrived the table was ready with a birthday card and table decorations. They also took a photo of us. The service was excellent which made his day special. We will definitely come back again.

Very bad experience tonight. I'm beyond disappointed. Flemings used to be one of my fav places. Tonight has really changed my mind for awhile. Steak had to be sent back twice. No adjustment to the bill. I'm. Not. Happy.

Service was great however

Way overpriced for the quality that was served. Swatting at gnats or fruit fly at table...not first time that has happened there; disappointing.

It was great as usual

It was our 42nd wedding anniversary. We had delicious food, great service, and a very attentive waiter, Tim. The special touches, such as our picture, card, rose petals and crystals on the table were special!

We can’t wait to come back! Everyone made our dining experience memorable.

The new chef had some nuce choices. I had the rack of lamb this time which was excellent. Our server was excellent and attentive. Still one of my favorite places.

Our waiter was new and being trained. The trainer was not present enough. When we arrived two people from our party was late. We ordered drinks and wanted to order appetizers. After our drinks arrived the waiter did not come back for a long time. We tried to get his attention a number of times but he wouldn’t even look our way. We assumed he thought we wanted to wait on the other people joining us. When our other party arrived the waiter came over and we ordered the appetizers and told the waiter to come back because we were ready to order the main course. He again did not return for a long time. I give him a pass because he was in training but where was the person who was training him? A few people ordered the Fleming salad. The menu does not list the type of lettuce used. When it arrived, it looked very bland and was an iceberg mix. I think a high end restaurant should have at least one salad on their menu made with actual green leaves, ie a spring mix or something similar. Disappointing experience.

Prompt polite service

As usual, excellent

We had multiple issues with the temperature of our steaks... so much so that my husband had to eat his dinner by himself since we were all finished when his recook steak arrived. Disappointing since we were celebrating his birthday. The management never apologized nor told us that they took the steak off of the bill... we discovered it once it came. We were told by our waitress that was how the "handle things".
