One of my favourite restaurants! The food and service is the best. Would recommend the beef short rib and lamb shank bao buns.
Found this place on google after deciding on an impromptu mum/daughter night out. Delicious food and cocktails and really lovely atmosphere. Will definitely return!
The most amazing meal at Flesh and Buns - the pork, duck and chicken bao were all incredible!
Great venue and delicious buns that was the main thing we went for.
Service was fine, food was not good especially for the money.
A nice surprise to find a new restaurant that delivers high quality Japanese cuisine for a reasonable price. Will certainly be back soon!
If you want to know what burgers in Japan look like, this is the place to go. Excellent food, nice service. Thanks!
Amazing food. Miso Aubergine is the best dish!!!!! Very friendly staff. Amazing service. Great food.
Very good food and drink, good ambiance but slightly noisy
Love it here. Food and staff very friendly. Great location.
Everything was amazing! First time in Flesh & Buns and you have to go! This place is great!
Great place, amazing food. Staff was super nice also and accommodating... when I wanted to swap out some things...
Sunday brunch was amazing! The free flowing prosecco was giving very generously, the food was really yummy and there was plenty of it. I like how the restaurant gave you a break between courses and didnt rush you. I now want to eat at flesh and buns every Sunday. Strongly recommend.
Not a bad meal but didn't impress, not sure I would go again
The food is always fantastic, the staff are attentive and polite
Everything was great but I think it's a little overpriced.
Very good as always
I loved the food! Very flavoursome. Quite small portions, but thats alright. The drinks were hitting!! I got two cocktails and loved them.
It’s a modern japanese restaurant, margaritas, Korean fried wings and Japanese fried chicken are absolute must.
So overpriced for what it actually is... Doesn't look as nice as in pictures, place is run down. The food is all average, absolutely not worth the money.. Thought it would be a special place to take my boyfriend for his birthday but I was very disappointed. save your money, go elsewhere
Staff were so friendly and really accommodating. Wonderful food and really lovely time. So clean!
Amazing value bottomless brunch! Highly recommend a visit (after lockdown). Excellent food!
The staff were so lovely. We did the bottomless brunch, the food and Prosecco kept on flowing and exceeded my expectations!
Great place
Fantastic food and the service was brilliant. Had such a lovely brunch and our server was so lovely and kept the prosecco flowing which sometimes doesn’t happen with the “unlimited bubbles” brunches at other places. We were absolutely stuffed and the wings are to die for! Will definitely be back once lockdown is over!!
Great food and service, you will not be disappointed. Both the waitresses/waiting staff that served us were great.
Amazing pork belly bun and duck buns. The meat was tender and skin extra crispy. The sauce was not so great for either the crispy duck and pork belly. the matcha ice cream for dessert alongside the chocolate cake had a texture and taste more like sorbet but overall a good dessert.
Would recommend to order 2 starters and 2 mains and a dessert if dining for 2 people.
We had the tasting menu and we are really happy with all of the food- it was delivered at a good pace, portion sizes were great and it was all really delicious! We particularly enjoyed the pork belly bao buns and the s'mores!
It was my girlfriends birthday and, she enjoyed herself - food was amazing and the staff were very welcoming and attentive. Thank you.
Love this place. The food is lovely. One of my fav places in covent garde. Definitely try pork belly and beef buns
Amazing food, friendly staff, quick service. Very COVID safe in these strange times. All together a thoroughly enjoyable dining experience!! Will definitely be back!
Honestly this shop ruined my good impression about flesh and bun. I used to dine in the their soho restaurant, their signature Japanese fried chicken their looks great and taste very nice. I ordered the same in this Covent Garden store, it’s so disappointing - the colour is yellowish like the coating of fried squid, and I saw chicken’s hair too up close, just ruined my appetite.
Plus I ordered the salmon don, comparing to their soho store, their presentation to taste just feeling not the same level, I think the chef do much better in soho one comparing this Covent Garden store. Also this restaurant is downstairs/underground, I don’t like the atmosphere.
Brunch is fantastic, food was amazing and bottomless prosseco was great!
Very nice food!
Not cheap but then given the location is pretty standard.
I feel that the ambiance could be a bit nicer (maybe through lighting) but by no means bad.
It was great - however it’s pretty obvious that the quality of food deteriorated during covid (like many other restaurants), the quantity of food, size of plates, sides, all decreased. This was one of my favourite restaurants so was disappointed that the food wasn’t as good (the aubergine I used to die for, not pretty good but not as before, the fried chicken is also a lot smaller). Despite smaller meals / lower quality, cost remained the same so felt not the greatest value for food
We had a great meal at Flesh and Buns, the staff were really nice and even brought us a complimentary dessert for my partners birthday which was so nice and helped make our day special. I would recommend it to everyone!
Bottomless brunch was good value for money.
Lots of great food to eat and they did not stint with the prosecco.
It was quite different. I think the service could have been more efficient and whilst some were friendly others not so.
Service was good and location was good but food was overpriced and not great. Not noticeably better than cheaper similar alternatives. The exception was the duck which was tasty. That being said I won't be going again which is too bad.
Food was great but there were very distinct pink lipstick stains on my water glass. My issue isn't with the stain being there, as I know dishwashers aren't always the best, but with the person setting up our table who obviously didn't check to make sure everything was clean. Stains happen, just make sure you catch them before your customers do.

Great atmosphere and lovely service!
