Lively place with descent Asian type food and good service, did notice on my bill the next morning that we were overcharged for a starter we didn't receive and an extra bottle of sparkling water. Should have put my glasses on!
Service was slow. Environment so noisy you can’t hear yourself think. Squeezed together around communal tables. The food was delicious and interesting but everything else was a fail
Super fiod and service but heavens it is a noisy venue! 😱
Always enjoy this restaurant. Good food, great atmosphere and the service is always excellent.
Service was very poor. Had to ask for water several times. Had to ask for cutlery several times. Food is overpriced for what it is. It was so noisy we were literally shouting to be heard from across the table. Food was ok but some dishes came out within 5 minutes. Some took an hour.
Never disappoints. One of my favorite spots for Sunday brunch.
I went on Saturday for a meal. I booked in advance for an individual table and we were sitting in a mix table. Not happy at the beginning but as our sit was in one of the corners of the table it didn't matter in the end and we have plenty of space and privacy. The atmosphere was incredible. The staff was brilliant and the food was really good. We went for the tasting menu. 100% I recommend this place. Thank you
Amazing food and great atmosphere. Service was quick as well!
Very limited vegan options.
Otherwise the food is great. I wouldn’t go there for the sushi and sashimi, there are many other dishes much worth trying.
First time service was great. Second time service was bad. And we were seated 30mins late.
This bar has potential but lacks in some areas.
The food seemed very overpriced, particularly starters and desserts.
We were crammed in on one long table with other customers when. Which is pretty hard when you order tapas style food.
We were also faced with a service charge of 12.5% which I felt wasn't earned. Staff were ok but one member of staff was clearing the space next to us and brushed food onto my lap.
Service was amazing. Starters were amazing but felt the main was a little disappointing - the duck was very dry and buns weren’t the light fluffy buns I’d had in many other Asian restaurants. Steak was lovely and it’s sauce. Not enough little pickled sides with the meats. Made the buns a little boring.
Service shocking. Manager kept trying to kick us out after only 2 hours and spending 300£ between 4 people. No mention of this beforehand. Food good but ruined the experience.
wonderful food with super knowledgeable friendly staff
A perfect team christmas diner. Recommend to anyone that likes asian food.
Food was good, atmosphere was good but we waited over an hour for our main dishes. Kitchen service was very poor. Won't be rushing back unfortunately.
The food was delicious, the staff were really helpful, though as the night got busier the service did suffer a little and we were left waiting to pay the bill. With a show to go to, we did feel we then had to rush to the venue from the restaurant.
This was a great place to go.
When booking I had written that this was for my SO's birthday and I had no expectation for what they had planned. I just was hoping for good seats - and they were!
We had our meal, which was amazing and the service was so welcoming and considerate.
We ordered F&B's SMORES and on the plate was written happy birthday with a candle. I had no idea they did that but it was such a lovely touch and my SO absolutely loved it. Thanks a bunch guys you definitely made her day.
Great food and staff but would have the tables a little bit further away from each other to be able to walk in and out comfortably
Great food, great atmosphere, great service.
Defo go back again
pre theatre dinner....excellent value. Fabulous food. Rarely say this....but almost too much! But utterly delicious.
Can’t say we totally enjoyed the food. We ordered starters to share and main course each. The starers are fine ( however doesn’t help the fact that they come all at a different times) For my main course I’ve ordered the pork. It was dry. I’ve eaten better Japanese cousine. It was a buzzing atmosphere and plenty of action.
Not cheap for what we had. Poor wine list selection... I’d say our experience was average.
Great food! Cool restaurant
Good food. Nice place. Restaurant emptied around 10 pm.
Food is amazing. Great atmosphere and service.
Hello, I just want to leave a feedback about our experience at Flesh and Buns this evening. Service was really bad, the waiter misunderstood the whole order and anytime we told him he was wrong we had to wait such a long time, also the food was not really warm and at the end we even had something in the bill that we never received. I'm really disappointed as Flesh and Buns has always been my favourite restaurant and service it has been pretty much good all the times. I do understand that Saturdays are busy but it's not my first Saturday spent there for dinner. I really hope that this won't happen again as I've been your customer for 4 years and I always appreciated the quality of the food.
Great atmosphere, great food, great service...perfect evening!
Possibly one of the best restaurants I have eaten at. Food was superb and general atmosphere was great.
Only slight downfall is that the staff seemed to have an issue with us wanting to sit next to each other rather than opposite each other - to the point that half way through our meal my partner was asked to move seats which was slightly annoying.
Bar that I cannot complain at all! Great place to eat
Everything was fantastic! Food was delicious, atmosphere great, service wonderful! Would recommend and can’t wait to return!
Food was delicious and restaurant has a really good vibe. Loved the pear & lychee juice, korean chicken wings tasty but quite spicy, the buns (pork and duck) were yummy, and the vegetarian hot pot quite good too! We were so full couldn’t get pudding. Will definitely come back.
We booked it there as a special occasion and it was recommended by a friend. The first impression was the space looked nice but very noisy. The food menu had interesting proposals and I liked the concept of putting your bun together but in terms of flavour/materials it seem to be missing out and not being as exciting as it wanted to present itself. The one thing that stood out and it 's worth trying was the cheesecake and their cold sake.
The stuff was overall friendly and helpful but the service was weak. We were the forgotten table of the day, they lost two of our orders and it was hard to hold on to someone to order drinks. In the end they did apologise and didn't charge us for the dessert as an apology which is something we did appreciate (not many restaurants do that!).
Lovely Sunday brunch, the staff is friendly and food delicious. Loved the pork belly!
Took my husband here for Brunch on his Birthday and the food was fantastic. So much of it! Service excellent, despite running out of donuts they gave us Smores instead. We toasted them on the fire in front of us. It was so much fun! Definitely going back
Be aware - they no longer do the great brunch offer! What was previously £45 is now £69 (you pay extra for alcohol), plus the food is no longer bottomless - you only get a bun and 3 starters. Still good food, but not good value.
We went for the express lunch. Great choice and great food. We will be back soon I am sure.
Amazing food and good atmosphere ! Friendly staff too :)
One of my favourite places to head when I'm out in the West End - delicious food, fun ambience and always made to feel welcome.
Make sure to order the chicken wings!
Food is delicious and service was good!
Arrived 30 minutes early but was promptly taken straight to my table. Food was absolutely delicious and portion size good! Staff friendly and attentive. I’m a new found fan!
Everything tasted great, really fresh ingredients and amazing combinations of flavour. The cocktails are delicious. The service was good to start off with but did tail off towards the end - took a while to get the bill and drinks after food had arrived. It was friendly service though.
Recommend the tasting menu if you can’t decide, it had good variety and was delicious and filling.
We’ve previously loved Flesh and Buns’ Sunday brunch so we’re disappointed to discover their brunch offer had considerably changed last weekend.
The food remains great, but the service also let it down last weekend. We knew we had a 2hr window, but we’re constantly reminded of it during the meal and even had the mains arrive when we hadn’t finished the starters! Shame because it ruined our appreciation of the food.
Won’t be coming back for the brunch unfortunately.
