Flora Indica pays homage to Scottish botanists who travelled throughout India cataloguing thousands of plants during Queen Victoria’s reign. The tribute is not only paid through its décor, but also in its modern-Indian menu. Think delicately-spiced mouth-watering small plates. It's certainly an eye-opening experience in terms of Indian cuisine.
Flora Indica showcases and awe-inspiring collection of gins alongside a fully-stocked cocktail bar and extensive wine list. The ground floor lounge bar is perfect for after-work cocktails and casual all-day dining. The lower ground floor restaurant at Flora Indica is a beautiful formal dining space. The restaurant is also available for private use, and is the perfect setting, whatever the occasion.

Response times v slow, drinks didnt arrive for a v long time after starters. Portion sizes are extremely small , cocktail mixing is below average
All four of us agreed this was the best Indian meal we’ve had.
Thank you to the team at Flora Indica for a fantastic evening!
Wonderful food and excellent service - only problem is it’s 3500 miles from home! We’ll be back next time we’re in town.
Not my first time at Flora Indica , and as always best curry and the best service ! Chef is incredible catering to all sorts of dietary requirements. My first port of call when in town .
Beautiful location, nice service and amazing food!
The food is really excellent on top ithere is a great atmosphere highly recommended
I would recommend. The food was very tasty. The service was very nice and pleasant. The food didn't take long to come out either. The cocktails took longer than the food.
Absolutely the best Indian food we have eaten since Gymkana in Mayfair. Exceptional
Dinner with the family.
A great experience, a modern take on the Indian Cuisine. Small portions which are great for sharing, the atmosphere and decoration is lovely but the service was super slow.
Excellent food and the restaurant was really well presented. Service was also next to none
Great experience! If you want to try high-quality Indian food, this is definitely one of the best places to go. A big variety of delicious small plates and a decent list of signature cocktails
This is a beautiful restaurant with British Indian food. The most impressive dish was the beetroot halwa.
I was a little disappointed with Flora Indica. The tasting menu and matched wines looked promising and some of the courses, particularly the main, were absolutely delicious. The dessert wasn't really to my taste but the wines were all lovely and well matched.
The main problem was the service, my husband whilst waiting for me got moved from one table to another slightly rudely, generally the waiters were a bit slow and sloppy (had to ask several times for water and got a single glass) and then they messed up the bill three times.
Also when we ordered additional wines by the glass I thought they were overpriced.
Overall, having spent a lot of money on a romantic evening, the experience didn't live up to the price.
Wonderful experience, very tasty dishes, excellent service - simply fantastic.
The Paneer Kofta was perhaps one of the most outstanding dishes I have ever had at an Indian restaurant. This is a lovely and friendly restaurant that I only recently discovered. Wish I had known about it when I got to London a year ago.
My only quibble: I think I saw plastic straws in use. That's no good Flora Indica! Change those out for a sustainable material and you are 100% in my book.
This is the second time we have been to this restaurant and we weren't disappointed. We are fussy people and love our curries, you have to visit this unassuming Indian restaurant.
The food was delicious, really enjoyed the sharing plates, starters and mains. However, I felt that for the portion sizes, the food was overpriced but lovely for a more special occasion.
Amazing gin menu, my favourite Indian in London!
We had the tasting menu with wine pairing. Everything was lovely. Food was terrific and came out at a good pace with attentive service.
Have visited twice in 2019 and love this place. The food is heavenly, with rich, complex spices. Only took one star away because there was one dish (minor) on the tasting menu that seemed less fresh and was uninspired. I had it both visits, so it wasn't a random event. Otherwise every single bite was pure delight! Highly recommend it all!
We were REALLY IMPRESSED with the food and the service! It could well have been the best Indian we tasted ever, and we are Asians! Everything we ordered was bursting with flavors. The spices and herbs came across as really fresh. We loved every dish! There's a famous Indian restaurant in D.C. called Rasika. We were more excited with the food served at Flora Indica than that served at Rasika. Really excited about this discovery!
Love this restaurant- great food - some of the best Indian food i have had in London. Service was terrific- very helpful with advice. Can’t wait to try again.
The dishes are way too small for the price. The food was very good but the portions are tiny. The menu has no explanations, so you have no idea what you are ordering (sauces, level of spiciness..). The tables are so close to each other that there is no privacy, unless you speak in a foreign language...which luckily was our case. Don't think we will back.
We had lunch on a Friday. The restaurant itself was beautiful and stylish. We were initially only offered a la carte and tasting menu for £47 but there was actually a lunch menu (2 courses for £15 and 3 courses for £18, great value) which we had to ask for and thought that was a bit cheeky. Food itself was beautifully presented and excellent. Restaurant would probably attract more customers if people know about this great lunch menu. Overall a lovely experience and will come back.
Amazing place! Beautiful decor. Food was great, the chill garlic naans were fab
Food was amazing and service was great! Definitely plan to go back!
Great change from regular Indian restaurants
Alway enjoy this great restaurant. Great ambience, beautiful place and great food!!!
Great food and very friendly and efficient service
Food is not to spicy so suitable for everyone
Plenty of vegetarian options too
Very small dishes and too expensive. Staff gave a very “rookie” impression. I will not return, nor recommend to anyone else.
Indian cuisine with a slightly different flair from the usual. The appetizers or sharing plates were small but adequate. We especially enjoyed the lamb rojan josh.
Great meal with wonderful host(s) -- we enjoyed thoroughly!
My favorite Indian restaurant! I’ve been going there for the past year and have recommended it to many!
Service and food were awesome again! We have been here twice in the past 6 months and will go again.
All dishes we tried were excellent. Loved the curry flavors.
The best place we ate during our London vacation. Food, service and cocktails were all fantastic. Highly recommend. We tried a different Indian restaurant later in the week and regretted it, wished we had eaten here twice instead.
Highly recommended and should be specialility is the Artichoke and Lamb Rojan Gosht
Really quirky little place with a great food and drink selection.
