Garlic aioli and spiced salt
Sprouting beans & sunflower seeds
To be honest, was quite disappointed. Service was great, but food was very lacklustre. The best bit was the bread selection, but that was bought in.
This used to be the go-to veggie place in Brighton, and has a long proud history.
It needs a bit of a rethink.
Incredible food and service from the FOH lady :) also the cocktails were some of the best we’ve ever had. A lovely treat, we will be back soon I’m sure :)
Excellent food. Well presented. Great service. Will be going back soon!
The most gorgeous food you could ask for! Their flavours are always spot on with creative combinations!
We love the atmosphere and the gentleman who greeted us was great, with very welcoming energy!
Great cocktails (all veggie/vegan) with lovely ingredients, super yummy!!
We’re still talking about the food now as we particularly loved the corn ‘ribs’ and crispy tofu!! We live in Hampshire so are going to do our best to recreate it back home.
From the moment we got there the staff were friendly and welcoming. They really took time to have a conversation and get to know us. Gave us complimentary drinks and dessert as it was an anniversary. On top of that the food was delicious and of high quality. You forget that it’s a veggie/vegan place. Lovely atmosphere. Would 100% recommend.
Shame about the banana fish & chips not being available. Risotto was a bit stodgy and the brownie was too. Overall though, pleasant evening
Lovely place with a relaxing atmosphere. Waiting staff were very friendly especially since it was my wife's birthday. Food was really good. Highly recommended.
We have been coming back to this lovely restaurant for many years. However, on our last few visits to Brighton we have opted for their sister restaurant 'Botanique' which is also amazing.
The Thai cauliflower dish was absolutely delicious. I also loved the roasted roots salad. Our evening was topped off with a musical treat (Laura Marling) at Brighton Dome.
Lovely restaurant with great food! The service could have been a little quicker as we waited a while for our mains. Great atmosphere and lovely plant decor.
The best cauliflower dish I have ever had and my non vegan husband agreed.
Absolutely beautiful place with delicious food. The vegan ice cream is to die for. A perfect place for our date nights.
Excellent choice for vegan coeliac. So refreshing to have wide choice of delicious food. Staff friendly and welcoming.
Great place, fresh food, high quality, very good ambient and service, really recommend it for good vegan/vegetarian food
After being seated then waiting over ten minutes before a jumped up moustached waiter was very aloof for his position. Extremely disappointed as I remember having some great meals there in the past. We won’t be going back
We had a selection of starters to share - the bbq corn and cauliflower were fab. The girls loved the roasted roots salad. Definitely recommend the espresso martini instead of dessert.
Love this place great food and service and all veggie choices my carnivore husband loves it xx
Delightful meal. No complaints. Small menu but our 3 dishes were all very tasty
Really nice meal!
Lovely restaurant and good food. The service is quie slow. Would make a difference if the wait time was shorter
Lovely ambience and delicious food. I wish the affogato was that big in all resteraunts everywhere! Will definitely come again to try the burger.
Far too much barbequed tasting food on a small menu -
The tofu starter was murdered / thats hard to do!
In the main, vegaterians do not like their food to tast like cooked meat products
The steamed green vegatables was a hit even tough a bit over salted
Good just took for ever to come - bread over an hour. Odd excuses but clearly mains had been sitting for ages cos was dry a d cold. Manager great at attending to us but the food prep was so bad - compared to great experiences before.
The food was so good and good value. We really enjoyed ourselves, and would definitely recommend.
Been eating here over the decades whenever we visit Brighton and the food keeps on getting better! Superbly tasty and very well presented, modern vege cuisine. Helpful, pleasant staff. Lovely atmosphere.
Friendly service, good ambiance. A good choice of food which was prepared quickly and tasted delicious! Used to go here in the 80’s and it never disappoints. Will be back .
Fantastic food - huge portions. Very friendly service and good vibe.
Good food for vegans. Wine pricey. Friendly service. Noisy and too hot.
It is very loud in the restaurant & I was disappointed with the quality of food. The cauliflower florets were so heavily coated & fried you couldn’t hardly find the cauliflower. Not healthy for sure!
Lovely food, especially the sweetcorn ribs. We felt rushed to leave at end because they needed the table.
Never fails to provide fantastic food. Great service, the menu doesn't do justice to the meal that is served because the meal is much much better. Go for something you wouldn't normally try and you will be surprised.
Really enjoyable evening, good food and staff. Will be back!
Quite a limited menu. Not quite the wonderful choice we’ve had before. Food was still tasty. A little bit hasty clearing plates.
Always amazing, we have been many times and will continue to in the future. Perfect for pre theatre and date night.
The food was as good as normal (excellent) but for the first time ever was let down by the service. The waiter was completely overrun and as such the dishes took an age to arrive. The restaurant wasn’t especially full, so this was a let down. The waiter himself was good and kept up a professional front but could have done with at least 1 more colleague.
One other point, can you bring back the Sunday roasts!
We are BIG FANS of FFF & Botanique - but this visit was a bit dissapointing ??? The waitress was lovely and q. helpful but we ended up paying another 10% on our bill as we asked if it was inc. in the Bill and she said no - but afterwards we looked at the Bill and it had been inc. - I don't think it was deliberate and so partly our fault as we should have studied the bill more closely before we left. Our main dissapointment was the food - which we've always adored - two of our starters had way too much batter round Halloumi Sticks and Thai Cauliflower- which is a fairly recent change and my main Frittata said Spinach but got potato in a pea puree instead = Lots of carbs & fat. We eat here as its A)Vegetarian B) That its healthy. Please can you return to the healthy less deep fried ------please.
I enjoy it every single time and it’s the only place I come for dinner when I come to Brighton as it’s so good. Thank you for the lovely Birthday plate!
Really enjoyed our meal - lots of atmosphere and a great menu! The staff were lovely!
Food For Friends is a favourite. Didn’t disappoint. Food was delicious, chilled vibe, service is friendly, slight wait at the beginning of the evening to get a first round of drinks in, otherwise all good. Lovely to be able to bring a vegetarian friend to the restaurant for a truly delicious meal
Always like the ambience of food for friends and did not disappoint. Service was not intrusive but attentive
Mary/Susan were great! Food and service was unreal
