    We had an excellent meal last night. We had the chicken Parmesan with the homemade spaghetti best I’ve had the dessert fried ice cream and crème brûlée to die for Grace was also an amazing server. Can’t wait to go back.

    My husband and I always enjoy The Black Whale. We both had drinks. I had my favorite, pear martini and he tried the special with Bullet Rye in it but I forget what the other ingredients were . I ordered from the special menu tonight. I had the baked stuffed shrimp and my husband ordered the blackened swordfish from the regular menu. Both were excellent. I suggested to the manager that they put the baked stuffed shrimp on the regular menu but he said that would not happen because they cannot make enough money from this dish. At $32, this surprised me since shrimp is not that expensive on the market. In saying that, I’m a little disappointed, but they have many great entrees on the menu. The staff, service, etc was excellent. Can’t go wrong if you want an excellent meal here.

    I could go on and on about how much we loved our experience at Candela Cucina. From the food to the drink, the service and the ambiance, everything was wonderful! One person in our party wears hearing aids and in most restaurants when it is busy they have extreme difficulty hearing us talk over the noise and music. This was not the case at Candela Cucina as the music level was just enough so we could hear it but not have to shout over it. The food was exceptional…get the dinner for 2 porterhouse steak, it melts in your mouth 🤤 and don’t forget to check out the dessert menu too (the bread pudding was delicious!). we will definitely be back.
