From the moment we were seated, Rick, our waiter, made the evening truly enjoyable. He was professional, attentive, and had a great balance of friendliness without being intrusive. He was easy to talk to and offered helpful recommendations without being pushy, which added to the relaxed vibe of our meal. I ordered the filet, and it was cooked to perfection—tender, juicy, and exactly how I like it. The sides were fresh and complemented the dish beautifully. I was pleasantly surprised by the reasonable prices, especially given the quality of the food. This place definitely offers good value for the money. The only downside was the lighting. For a dinner after sunset, I expected a more dim, intimate ambiance. However, the lighting was quite bright, which took away from the cozy atmosphere I was hoping for. It didn’t ruin the experience, but a softer, warmer light would have made the evening perfect. Overall, I’d recommend The Common Ground for its excellent service (thanks to Rick!) and delicious food.
