- NNickLondon •4 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoFrom when we first walked in I loved the atmosphere. The lighting, ambience , decor made us feel wow we are in for a good night. The service was outstanding, we didn’t know but all cocktails were £5 so that kicked the night off on the right foot. The hostess was very friendly and basically gave us options of where we would like to sit…. Within 15 mins every table was full. You could hear the music but it wasn’t loud…. The Stranglers looking at the Peaches was playing which I thought was a great choice. It was my wife’s birthday so the free glass of bubbles was a lovely touch. There were plenty of staff and you could see the management team leading from the front. Our server was Stella, she was amazing, really knowledgeable and we had a great laugh with her too! The food and wine was outstanding …. We had some nibbles, Potato bread !!! Amazing but be warned filling, we took some home, we had the famous leek starter, side of potatoes, cabbage etc with the Sea Bream to share…. All fab. Just about squeezed in the Bakewell tart to share. We go out to eat quite often and I’m very rarely so happy with every single part of the experience. These guys mean business, the staff are extremely well trained and seem to really enjoy their jobs. I now completely understand why it’s taken me several months to get a table! Thankyou so much.
