    Took my boo for our anniversary. Spectacular ocean views; I recommend scheduling for sunset. We made reservations and arrived early, we had a very short wait to be seated and were immediately offered drinks while we waited. Staff was especially attentive without being overbearing or pushy. I ordered the braised short ribs and boo had the curry tiger shrimp. Both choices were absolutely delicious. The short ribs were fall apart tender. The curry shrimp was sweet and slightly spicy, and although I wouldve prefered a more spicy curry its just a personal preference. Prices were certainly fair if not competitive. I would've paid more for the view alone. Will B returning for sure!!!!!

    This was our first time visiting Dukes in Malibu (we went to the one in Honolulu years ago). We definitely recommend going before sunset, as the ambiance of the ocean and sun and sky are amazing. After dark, it loses that, as Malibu doesn't allow lights on the water. Our food was excellent (except that the wedge salad was drowning in dressing). The entree's were delicious, as well as the calamari and dessert. Everything was very clean and sharp, yet the casual atmosphere welcomed a more laid-back local and tourist crowd. Our fave experience was the amazing service. Eliana, a Pepperdine student, was our server and she was very attentive, friendly, positive, and hopeful, without being overly chatty or disruptive. She's a star. We will be back.

    Food and service are always first class. The staff is attentive and friendly. This is a hidden gem, and well worth the drive into the Palisades Highlands.
