Very disappointed. Turned up for my birthday with a group of friends for the place not to exist anymore. Apparently it closed in March. Very embarrassing! Also so annoying as we had no where to go for prosecco brunch. I think you need to look into this? As you should not of accepted my booking which I made months ago!
The restaurant is CLOSED DOWN.
Do not book. We had booked bottomless brunch but arrived to find the ventue had shut down with no communication from staff.
This should not still be on Open Table.
Turned up and the place was closed. We had to phone around several places to get a table for Sunday Roast. Not impressed we weren't contacted to tell us. It's a shame because generally we like the Forge but this was very poor.
Went for brunch and the food was lovely, nice space to chill out in
Disappointing brunch after I’ve heard some good reviews regarding the bottomless brunch. Service was appalling - we were placed in a corner and basically left with no service and had to consistently ask for a top up. Staff just walked past us and did not top us up and said it was a ‘busy’ day. Food was lovely! Such a shame that after when it had emptied out our waitress was just at the bar and for about 20 minutes we were left with no top up. When we asked another member of staff for the bill when it has exceeded 20 minutes after our time slot we asked for a top up and she said no because it was over our time slot. We explained we had been waiting for so long she said she could get us one as if she was doing us a favour. We then were left for another 15 minutes as nobody came over with a card machine which resulted in myself asking at the bar as we had to leave. The service charge was optional and when we paid the waitress said we hadn’t paid the full amount which was rude. We said that’s because we did not pay the service charge as it was appalling. For a girls brunch and a fun afternoon I would not recommend.
Had a lovely time! got a free cocktail for my birthday. only down side is that there was no chicken on the bottomless brunch menu!
Really lovely team, very attentive. Think we were the only people not doing bottomless brunch. Food was delicious, but menu is quite random!
Overall very poor
Waited 20 minutes for drinks & it wasn’t even busy.
Misleading Brunch price arrangement
Food was ok, nothing amazing
Overall I found it to be very expensive
Warmly greeted by the gentleman at reception and was promptly shown to my table. Service was friendly, food was tasty & the cocktails were yummy. I would definitely recommend this venue for something informal and quaint.
very quiet but meant service was exceptional. bottomless bunch. we left very drunk!
For a bottomless brunch it was brilliant. It took a while for someone to come over and say hello, and they were not attentive at keeping our water jug topped up. But they were certainly working hard and were constantly keeping our glasses full. it was a great brunch and would definitely come again.
I went with three friends for a bottomless brunch. Waiters are really good, good service and always ready to fill your glass. The atmosphere is friendly and well decorated. The food was really good but I'd say that some of the starters are quite expensive for what you get. Overall I'd recommend it, we had a really fun experience and I would like to go back!
What a hidden gem! Took my mum for lunch while we were visiting her in London. Food was fantastic. We all had the Sunday roast beef, it was the best beef I had in a very long time. Lovely veg & tasty gravy. Excellent value and service was nice and friendly, staff couldn’t do enough for us. Can’t wait to go back.
Went for the first time, for a Sunday roast recently. The beef was cooked just right for my liking. The portions were hefty, almost American. A bit pricey. The Sunday roast sharing plate for 2 almost works for three. Will return.
Love Forge & Co, the staff are always warm and friendly, and super-attentive. Great food and gluten-free friendly.
Really good bottomless brunch - reasonably priced, and you definitely get your money's worth! We had a brilliant time so I would definitely return back soon.
We had an amazing time here! The staff are incredible, filling our glasses right up to the top during our bottomless brunch! Our Australian waiter in particular was so kind and fun.
We just arrived in London staying on the East Side. I made reservations prior to arrival on Open Table. The restaurant was quiet. There were a few things on the menu unavailable, but our meal selections were delicious. The wait staff was attentive and the drinks were GREAT!
The waitress did not speak English well enough to work in a service role. We waited for a very long time for my friend’s main meal (steak). Eventually when we finally flagged down the waitress, we realized she completely forgot to put in his main meal and thought he would be happy with his entree only (despite him clarifying how well done he wanted the steak). She left to order it. She came back later only to say that the kitchen had closed now. He was very hungry. She was unapologetic and merely asking “what can I do for you?” to which we asked for food, but she merely kept repeating herself, asking “what can I do for you?” My friend left frustrated and very hungry. There was no apology or discount when we settled the bill.
Super slow service.
Super loud in the evenings. Would only go if you're looking to shout over drinks. The booze is tasty. The food leaves much to be desired. We had the burger and the steak.
The staff are absolutely lovely and the coffee delightful.
I look forward to visiting again.
Was friends birthday. Brunch deal great but place very busy and loud. We had good time overall
Extremely noisy: DJ making it impossible to hear each other.
All in all quite a disappointing brunch experience.
The waitress didn't seem to know what she was doing and had to come back to the table at least twice every time as she had forgotten or misunderstood. We had to ask for water three times before it actually arrived.
When the food arrived it was luke warm, on a cold day it wouldn't have been much to at least heat the plates!
And after all of this they automatically included a 12.5% service charge which seemed a bit presumptuous given that service is optional and the service was well below the standard deserving of it.
They called to cancel 5 minutes before arrival
Good fun and great food.
We didn't have the most pleasant of experience although larger groups seems to be far better looked after. Our booking was initially not found and so we were seated on a lounge table, not really suitable for brunch.
We also paid for the bottomless Prosecco brunch although were missed a number of times by the waiters who seemed only to be topping up the larger groups.
The food chosen was pleasant enough, although it didn't seem to make much sense that your main meal didn't come with any sides, such as the chicken breast that wasn't served with anything other than a salsa verde.
Front of house on Saturday had not received our booking through open table. He was very rude just shrugging his shoulders. When a table came free he let us have this but it was a coffee table with only two seats and I explained we were four people with a baby. He again shrugged his shoulders and just said most people don’t have a problem with this. We went to the Albion instead who were extremely accommodating and friendly.
Amazing service and great food! The venue and vibe were perfect for a boozy Saturday afternoon. The food was great and our prosecco glasses were never empty!!
I was a little underwhelmed with this place. tables and seating wants really my cup of tea, large group benches. Music was a tad loud for a quiet early evening meal and the food was decent but not amazing.
Nice place for Sunday brunch
Staff pleasant and welcoming. Disco on, so was noisy - wasn't expecting that when I read the reviews before. Food good value for London and lovely cocktails!
Great restaurant with excellent staff!
I have been almost everyday this holiday! Look forward to trying more things before I leave back to Los Angeles!
Service was greet. Food was good, but nothing special. I liked the decor a lot. Would return!
Nice relaxed place to grab some food. Friendly staff and good menu.
Came in for a few cocktails on special offer ended up eating a 3 course meal and more cocktails after...great atmosphere and service....will be back soon ....
The food was very nice and the gins were brilliant, they have a great range of gins! Service was great, I would recommend visiting!
The food was great
It was a quiet night when I went so lots of space
I went for dinner and unfortunately for me, the juices were only available until 6pm after that time it was cocktails and other alcoholic beverages or tea which meant I had to be content with water
Fun bottomless brunch with a group of friends. Great food although on the pricy side!
