Fortnum & Mason Diamond Jubilee Tea Salon
This has been one of the best afternoon teas we have done. The food was amazing, the service first class and the venue beautiful. If your are considering the Savoy as a special afternoon tea don’t both go to F & M. You won’t be disappointed.
We, 2 couples from Australia, booked for high tea last Tuesday at 6pm. From the moment we arrived, we were treated as special guests. Due to Covid 19 not many guests attended, however the service was amazing ( apologies we have forgotten the name of the lovely lady who attended to our every need) & the quality & variety of food served was exceptional, including additional serves. Savoury, scones & petit fours were served with endless tea. A choice of cakes from the cake trolley followed. Two of our group was/had celebrated a birthday & staff presented their cake complete with birthday chocolates, lighted candles singing "happy birthday". A truly memorable occasion.
Fabulous afternoon tea. Lovely service. Will definitely return!
This is a great place to go to for a special afternoon tea. The food was excellent as was the service. We were encouraged to have seconds and told that anything we didn't eat would be but in a box to take home. Highly recommended.
Absolutely perfect experience from the moment we were greeted in the reception area on arrival to the time our coats were returned to us on departure. Jose took very good care of us during tea in a friendly, efficient, professional & unobtrusive manner. Totally satisfied & no improvement required-it was PERFECT!
My afternoon tea experience exceeded expectations. My server Gabriel was a gem and provided attentive and special care and explained everything thoroughly. The tea, food and desserts were wonderful and I am grateful for the experience. If you are looking for a posh and classic afternoon tea, look no refuter and book your reservation now.
A great experience, one I usually enjoy. This time it was not as good, but still good both for service and food overall.
Great food, great dining room but very slow service marred our.visit. We had to wait over 25 minutes for our teas and sandwiches ho be refreshed. Our water wasn’t topped up and we weren’t offered anything from the cake trolley. Fortnum & Mason really need to do something about this. Online reviews are saying the same thing. Good food can’t make up for lack of service.
I had a delightful afternoon tea here as a treat. The setting was lovely, as was the service and food! A throughly indulgent afternoon!
Very dissappointing. The room and the service were both good, but the food was pedestrian in the extreme. Uninspired sandwich fillings, tiny scones and a lacklustre selection of five cakes between the two of us.
Great atmosphere and service, but I think the price is high, although I know others charge more.
We purchased a gift voucher for my sister’s 50th birthday for Afternoon Tea with Champagne & my husband & myself joined her & her husband. The four of us had a lovely time & they even bought my sister out a slice of cake with Happy 50th Birthday written on the plate. This we were not expecting, so a lovely surprise.
The service from the front desk, cloakroom & the initial server was really good. The only criticism would be that we had ran out of tea & no one came back to check on us or offer more. We had to flag someone down who then refilled our teas & offered us cake from the trolley.
Overall a lovely experience & we would return.
Great service and amazing staff I went with my granddaughter and she enjoyed it so much
Fantastic afternoon tea with excellent service, lovely background music.
Amazing experience, a bit expensive but very nice place and service is wonderful
Absolutely fabulous! This was a wonderful experience with lots of options of sandwiches and teas. Excellent service. The room was beautiful and the tea and food were delectable!
The servers were great. The food was horrible.
Fabulous!! The service and food were excellent. A must if you’re visiting London.
Lovely and authentic high tea in the heart of London. The food was delicious, the staff was friendly and made great recommendations and served us well. We'd recommend for anyone interested in having Tea in London to come here.
We had booked Afternoon Tea in The Diamond Jubilee Tea Salon to celebrate my daughter’s Admission into The Law Society as a Lawyer in England & Wales.
José who attended to us was fantastic, he was polite, friendly and couldn’t do enough for us. Our whole Afternoon Tea experience was wonderful, which was undoubtedly down to him (and the lovely food) and I would thoroughly recommend eating here ( especially if you are lucky enough to have José attending to you).
Beautiful ambience, lovely food
A wonderful experience. I loved every minute of it. Thank you for making my birthday special!
Most of our party had High Tea. The Lobster Omelette and the Baked Brill & Lobster with Champagne Sauce are both fantastic! Great atmosphere, and we really like the spacing between tables as your visit still has a private feel.
While lovely, it's gotten too expensive for my friends. I will warn them that the cost is prohibitive.
Very nice decor and professional waiters. Scones were rather small but unlimited refills means it's OK
This was my best experience in London by far. Although it is a bit pricy, all food and drink is unlimited and the staff are very kind and attentive. The food was amazing and the tea the best I've ever had anywhere. It's a great place to go if you want a reprieve from your trip and to relax for a few hours, especially if you are traveling with a significant other.
Great afternoon rea
Had a lovely time at the Jubilee tea salon. The food was superb, everything was very fresh and tasty. We were offered as much as we wanted, even sent home with extra cake. The selection of different teas was wonderful, really enjoyed trying new blends. Service was excellent, and everyone was so warm and welcoming. The room itself is beautiful, it’s easy to see why this is the place to come for tea
Nice example of afternoon tea in London. I've had better tea and ambience at Brown's Hotel.
Celebrated our anniversary and
Quintessential English Afternoon Tea - we had a lovely time! It was a once-in-a-lifetime treat and exceeded my expectations.
Great atmosphere with great food and friendly staff.
We ordered the vegetarian afternoon tea. The sandwiches tasted and smelled badly. The jam and lemon curd were too sweet. The milk they served with the tea was very low quality. And to top it all, we waited for the bill for more than 45 mins. Huge disappointment.
We are tourists.
I can’t speak English.
But all stuff were very very kind.
I respect you.
Thank you very much.
I had great time.
Excellent service and afternoon tea!
Very nice tea. Food good. Was told on arrival that all plates were replenishable, But had to ask a number of times and took quite a while for tea to be refilled etc. For the price service is far inferior to the large hotels like Claridges, where service is impeccable.
-Finger sandwich (vegetarian set-wholemeal with red pepper)was soggy & cold.
-Scones are not the best in town.
-Small butter knife instead of teaspoons should be provided for the scones spread.
-Saucers and plates are not in their best conditions. Traces of worn utensils can be seen on the silver rims of the saucers and plates.
Excellent what a great afternoon tea
Service and food great
Outstanding service staff where friendly and very helpful nothing was to much
We had absolutely wonderful time. It was fun, cool and tasty. Thomas and Anna both were very sweet and helpful. Thanks for Fortnum & Mason for pleasant environment.
Easter chocolates are amazing!!!!!!
