Very nice, elegant and tasty 😁
We enjoyed the whole experience and would highly recommend.
Irene was the perfect server. Sweet, attentive and professional.
Too expensive compared to what you got. Service was good, and the place was nice, but can get equally good food and tea somewhere else for half the price.
Amazing as usual- really good place to take friends visiting London
Everybody who visit to London should have an experience of afternoon tea at Fortnum and Maison. That would be a marvelous memory in whole life.
I just love this place , I would definitely return again
Excellent food, slight delay for our pre booked table but staff very accommodating and compensating. Very enjoyable experience. Menu offers a good choice.
We had afternoon tea for my husbands 50th Birthday and it was fantastic.
The young lady that looked after us called Anna could not do enough for us and was very polite and friendly, she made the experience even more fantastic
I came here with a friend for afternoon tea and it was lovely. Would highly recommend
Had a very lovely afternoon tea, we had Chris taking care of our table. He was very attentive and professional, we are very lucky to have him serve us. I will definitely recommend him to serve us again!
The sandwiches across both the guests did not feel or taste fresh which was disappointing.
Gluten free afternoon tea was amazing. The tea itself was to die for and the staff was super friendly and extremely attentive.
I went there with my 10yo daughter to celebrate the end of her exams, her first afternoon tea, and the staff could not have been nicer 10/10. They were able to advise us on what to chose and what tea would be suitable for a child. The food was really lovely too.
Jose - the best waiter ever.
Overall was very good. Just a scone was a bit too hard.
We were visiting the UK from Australia and wished to say thank you to two special friends of ours for their generous hospitality. We were going to the theatre that evening and had booked the Afternoon Tea as a treat. The whole experience, from the moment we arrived, was fantastic and fulfilled all our expectations. First rate service, extremely tasty and expertly prepared food.
We would strongly recommend this to others.
The king of afternoon teas!!!!!
The staff surpassed themselves in making our experience enjoyable beyond expectation. They excelled themselves in making a perfect experience even more perfect. Everything from the moment we entered the Salon to the moment we left was exceptional. It would be impossible to improve on our Diamond Jubilee Tea Salon experience. We can't wait to return!
I’ve had afternoon tea at Fortnum & Mason a number of times. As always, the food was excellent (I did the savoury tea), but the service was very disappointing. The initial order-taking was fine, but after that, I had to ask multiple times for everything else I wanted/needed. I felt like I got ignored in favor of tables with more people. That’s not been my experience here in the past, but it certainly was this time.
We had a Great time at The Diamond Jubilee Tea Salon. Outstanding service! Would recommend it to all.
Amazing atmosphere, excellent service from our waiter Colin and gorgeous food. It was a wonderful experience.
Worth the expense. Had several rounds or sandwiches, tried multiple types of the teas on offer and what we didn't eat was boxed up and given to us to take away.
An amazing afternoon tea experience in a beautiful setting. The food was fantastic. The service was a little slow in the end but as my friend and I were busy talking we did not mind too much. Our main person at the start kept checking if we wanted any more of anything and was super, it was only towards the end of our time we were waiting a little longer than we would have liked for a second pot of tea. However we were having a relaxing afternoon so it was not a huge deal. Would still highly recommend it.
Not that good. The service was really bad, the food was just ok.
Don’t come, the food is bad (you can get better sandwich and scone even in M&S for £10.) The service is the worst.
The waitress looks refusing to guide us to the table. The waiter looks tired and anxious, I have to call him several times for tea, jam... the waiter tried to rush us to finish earlier.
The food and tea was excellent but it is too bad that the noice level was very high, very high. The service was very good, even though you at times felt invisible due to many tables per server.
Beautiful setting and crockery. Fantastic food and impeccable service! Also allowed a doggy bag! Many thanks!
My Daughter and I loved every moment that we were there. This was our third time at F& M and we will defiantly be back for me tea.
The only thing that I had to double check was the tea cups had makes on them due to probably being used quite a lot
We were seated in the Drawing Room, which was not where we expected to sit based on previous outings to F&M. It felt like we were an afterthought as soon as we sat down. My mother and I wanted to go for a nice birthday tea, and honestly, we were left waiting for water, tea, more sandwiches and general inquiries about our tea. There were three tables near us that once the diners left, were left uncleared for about 20 minutes. The servers themselves were nice and clearly understaffed, but they just were unable to provide the service we expected when paying £60 per person. If I'm being honest, it did put a bad taste in my mouth on what was supposted to be a specail experience for my birthday. I'm not sure if this review gets back to Fortnum themselves, so I'll probably email them as well. I was very disappointed.
First of all there was no introduction on the menu considering we were there for the first time so we were left on our own to figure out how it works and what is on the menu. We were not even told that there is an option for refilling the sandwiches and sweets. Secondly service was slow / poor. Our jam tower took a long time to arrive after several request. Tables around us were not cleared away for at least half an hour or more which highly affected our dining experience. This is totally not what I am expecting from Fortnum and Mason especially if I am being charged a 12.5% service charge.
First time here. Nice environment. Friendly staff. Honestly a bit pricey but worth the money. I ordered a signature afternoon tea set and a savory one so we could try both. All items, including food and tea, are with unlimited refills. You can even try out different blends without additional charge. Not only the tea, food was definitely amazing. They also had a small selection of complimentary cakes slices available on top of the afternoon tea sets.
Absolutely loved this experience. The food, service, and atmosphere was something I will treasure forever.
There are insufficient staff. We had to wait 20 minutes for a second pot of tea after waiting 20 minutes for a glass of wine. Tea was cold. White bread was spongy and tasteless. The beef was exquisite. The manageress was charming and apologetic. The male guests were generally very casually and badly dressed.
The whole experience was quite disorganised. While our waitress was perfectly pleasant she had difficulty in explaining tithe menu to us. Our ‘voucher’ was mislaid and there was a great deal of toning and frying going on about this with no communication back to us. To be fair our wine was not charged for - a nice gesture but I would suggest the extra cost involved to go to the Ritz where the experience is seamless is well worth the money
The most amazing customer service and you get a lot for what you pay for definitely going to come back again
Obviously this is a very expensive option. The service and quality are exceptional, the experience is worth it. In my humble opinion, the noise level is not tolerable due to the design of the place and the materials used. The live piano does not help mask this, in fact it exacerbates it. The tea options are 4 pages long! The savoury food options are amazing except from the beef entrée which is quite bad. The sweet food options are all excellent. The scones are divine.
A disappointed overall visit. No tablecloth, one small cream for four people, waited on sugar and napkins for table. We each paid £80 for afternoon tea experience and thought we did not get value for money
The tea pot was dirty, tattered tea cups and poor service.
I was so looking forward to this experience. I enjoyed my last two times at F+M's, but this time left much to be desired.
Service was laughably slow, even though it was only 1230AM; the cutlery and china had seen better days, and the 'replenishables'' were not so forthcoming.
I would look elsewhere in the future.
The service was really lacking - we were seated but no one came to greet us. 15 minutes in we had to call a waiter to place our order. The food was ok, but we were not offered the cakes from the trolley and when we asked for it, our waiter must have misunderstood because nothing came. Totally not worth the price, would not go back.
