My first visit on recommendation from friends. Took my sister in law for her 40th birthday and we were greeted with a glass each of pink fizz which was a wonderful touch! We had a wine flight each which was lovely and it was a great way to spend an afternoon. Thanks F&M!

I enjoyed a very pleasant lunch at the Wine Bar earlier this week. My friend and I shared a Parma ham with pickled figs dish and an avocado dip, both of which were tasty. The wine list is very good indeed and our favourites were the sparkling and Bacchus wines from Camel Valley vineyard in Cornwall. It's a very convenient stop off if you're enjoyi g a day's shopping or sightseeing in the city.

We always visit F&M when in London and decided to eat in the Wine Bar rather than go to a rather swish and expensive restaurant nearby. We weren't disappointed. Great service from the staff, in particular Alice from Lyon who was charming. Food - perfect for what we wanted - the crab rillettes and the trio of smoked salmon backed up by a very nice white wine made a simple snack so much more. Great ambience and not too expensive. Wasn't cheap but you get what you pay for. As always we shall be back again later in the year. Thank you F&M. Never change.

Very disappointed with this visit to Fortnums wine bar. Artisan Breads were not very fresh.
Pasta was dry and sauce was congealed when served as though it had been sitting in an oven..not freshly cooked. We will try the wine bar again but will leave it for a while!

A great place to be in almost all occasions, the service is excellence with friendly staff, and the chef is exceptionally creative.

We totally recommend F&M and the Wine bar. Try and See to know the experience !

F&M is not just a luxury store it is an Experience !!

We had a lovely pre-Christmas catch-up over with wine and cheese here. The staff were generally very attentive and the food and wine recommendations were excellent. We were, however, disappointed in the ambience, especially towards the end of our visit - there were not many customers and in the last hour before closing staff were busily cleaning, etc the bar area & quite noisily too. I think the lights were even turned up for the last hour too which spoiled the atmosphere and made it feel like we were a bit of an inconvenience even though we were still eating/drinking... a bit frustrating!

Really the best smoked salmon I have ever had! Lemon wrapped in muslin which was a great idea. Really nice Pouilly-Fumé. Not cheap but certainly not hugely expensive either. Small but delicious portions. Had a lovely time!

Been going here as a pre-Xmas treat for years and it never disappoints. Pricey, but oh so, so good. Bar snacks excellent. Especially love the rarebits. Smoked salmon trio is sublime. Wines are splendid. Fernandez barman is a great fun character, but service was slow because they were very busy - as they're always busy in the run up to Xmas it's caused by understaffing.

Received a warm and friendly welcome and was asked which type of table we preferred. Ordered two bottles of wine and some nibbles. Wine came quite quickly, but we had to ask where our food was. Apparently they had run out and there was only one portion of cheese straws left! At 18.30? Really? So we had one cheese straw each! As we were moving on, it didn’t matter, but it’s not really good enough for a place like this. However, it didn’t spoil our evening and I would definitely return

A very disappointing experience. The wine bar was quite cold and lacking in ambience. The crudités and hounous was a really pathetic dish, the only saving grace was that the ice bowl the tiny vegetables came in ensured they were crisp. The quantity was ridiculous for the price and served without the kind of flourish you might expect from F&M, known for its luxury food. The pigs in blankets and bread sharing plate equally as boring. Such a pity!!!

Kept the table for us, despite being over 30 mins late during very busy Christmas period. Found it very relaxing after arriving feeling flustered, with no pressure to vacate the table. Food menu is limited but delicious. Wine selection excellent.

I really like F&M for a real splash out, but the wine bar is just a bit stark and not as much fun as the other areas. The food is tasty but tiny, the drinks are nice but the ambience is not there to make you want to stay for a long time. Staff were friendly and professional. I much prefer the other spaces. As this isn't a place I can afford more than once a year, if that, I want it to be super special. The wine bar felt like a space for regulars who think nothing of spending £20 on a glass of champagne.

As always Fortnum and Mason do not disappoint. Superior quality products served beautifully and by attentive staff .Nothing is too much trouble and their reputation goes before them .We were late due to traffic and they seated us as soon as possible with excellent service , we asked questions about the food so we knew exactly what we were eating as we tried unusual cheeses which were wonderful. The bill was £45 each for a very good lunch with 2 glasses of wine all of a very high quality ! Still a favourite quality lunch spot !
