On St John Street, Foxlow is a 5-minute walk from Farringdon Tube Station, and 7 minutes’ walk from Barbican Tube Station.
Corkage free Tuesdays are a great way share bottles with friends . 600gm special Rib was superb, perfectly cook and matched with usual sides and service always exemplary. Thank you
Fantastic as always, thank you!
Went for brunch, food was yummy with decent portion size and of course the bottomless flow of coffee and Prosecco is always good. Would go back again
We went on a Friday evening. Service was very slow (for both drinks and food). My steak was over cooked, our waitress was kind to acknowledge this, but I didn’t accept the offer for a new one which was a shame as we were under a tight time schedule. I have been to Foxlow once before which was great so it was disappointing to not get the same level of service on my recent visit.
Beautiful place, great food and friendly staff. Would definitely come again. Thanks for a lovely valentines!
Excellent service and delicious food
Very good experience! Will definitely be back! Great atmosphere good for casual and dates. Great menu and totally delicious food - the roasted cauliflower was a big highlight!
I’ve been twice. The first time I went it was fantastic. Great food and great service.
Two nights ago I went for the second time. The food was ok (flat iron steak too chewy) and the service was very poor.
Excellent meal and amazing service. I will be back and would definitely recommend
Good food and nice environment although quite loud and lively and difficult for a business conversation. Waitress was less than helpful, bordering on rude or at best, disinterested in my colleague and I.
Pricing was generally ok although steaks were quite expensive for the venue.
I will return, but probably just opt for the burger!
Cracking food, great wine list and service is always great.
Overall good experience and solid, reliable food. Service was patchy and a bit slow. They need to sort out the draft at the back and also extend the curtain to create more ambience out the back window - the room we were in was lovely, but my partner spent the entire meal staring out at a street lamp and a car parked right in front. Kind of killed the mood.
Awesome pisco sour. Delicious kale / avocado / halloumi salad and exceptional passion fruit cheese cake. Will go back.
Great service from Anna. Fantastic porterhouse. Very tasty.
Food ok, atmosphere ok but ridiculously noisy even though not full. Sound bouncing off tiled walls. Squid was too chewy, chips were frozen and tiny like Macdonalds fries. Pork was not really cooked enough for our taste, also too chewy. Service ok, but not great. Average I guess. Probably wouldn’t go back.
Yummy brunch, thank you!
Used for business meeting. Good location, discreet staff and excellent food.
It was a bit loud for conversation at times despite the fact that it wasn't crowded, but not a major problem.
Loved the fact that we were not hurried or interrupted.
Excellent food and service as always. Not cheap but good value
A local installation of a popular London chain. It is a cozy spot for tasty meat-forward dishes. Good wine and cocktail selection. Create place to duck into on cold evenings.
We took advantage of their Tuesday BYOB offer which allows you to accompany their excellent food with wines from your own cellar. I interrupted a very amorous couple at 6:30 who had clearly been there since lunch when taking my seat. They were soon on their way as a large table was needed to accommodate a group of lads also taking advantage of BYOB. We enjoyed a selection of starters with our champagne particularly enjoying the carrot humous and crispy squid. The shared between 2 900g medium rare tbone was a perfect foil to our 2000 grand puy Lacoste . We appreciated the puddings whilst consuming the restaurant's own fine calvados. Really enjoyed the whole experience and thanks to the staff who looked after us really well.
Good vegan options. Good British fare. It can be a bit too dark at dinner time as they have the lighting really low. Makes it hard to read the menu. I have to use a torch on my phone!
Follow has been on my radar or a while and I finally made it on Friday!
The food was good.
The drinks were good
Service felt a bit rushed
Check this place out, but don't expect to have your mind blown away
One of my favorite restaurants of the moment and excellent value with the January 25% off total bill offer.
Nice menu with tasty sounding options quite reasonably priced. We split the steak and an aubergine dish which was a good combo. Only issue was the service was perfunctory - not slow, just not interested, no engagement, plates whisked away and hard to get someone's attention..
I have been extremely impressed by their vegetarian options each time I have gone. The kale salad start is amazing, the roasted aubergine is out of this world, and the roasted pineapple dessert seals the deal!
V good food but slightly limited menu. Good value espywith BYO Tuesday. Service was slower than it should have been but very friendly staff
Great Sunday lunch with my wife and son. They really looked after us especially my son and I have to say the best roast beef I have had in ages. We will be back.
Lovely restaurant with a great ambience. Great for a date. Food was amazing & service was top notch.
Excellent food (some of the best vegan dishes I've ever had), great service, good-value cocktails and a lively, enjoyable atmosphere.
The food was great I took a rib eye that was just amazing
Slow service, good food
Very accommodating, looked after us well. Excellent food. Would highly recommend if looking for somewhere good to eat in Clerkenwell
We went on the BYOB Tuesday evening for a small celebration. The food was very good and the service to begin with was excellent. The only caveat was that we were told to vacate the table within 5 mins and we hadn't even paid the bill. The waiters then continued to keep telling us to move even as we were getting up from the table. Other than being ushered about we had a great night and I would still go back.
Fantastic service and brilliant food. Couldn’t find fault with any aspect of the meal.
Nice atmosphere and decor was good throughout. The chicken burger ordered was huge but not much taste in it. The rump steak again served with very little side salad. Food was a bit on the dry side - no offer of sauces to go with the lunch meal.
Food was very good indeed. Wines a little pricey for what was on offer. Service a little too laid back, a few things never ever reached the table....
Great service all the way through the evening. Fabulous food and a wonderful selection of beverages
Great steaks and great service as always , with corkage offer is perfect opportunity to consume wines of your own.
The food was great and I cant fault the food or the staff. However the service was really slow. Given the location, I would have thought the restaurant would be accustomed to serving business lunches, however we only ordered one course and the meal took 1.5 hours. I was therefore late back to work
Smallish menu but some nice dishes including Vegan option although one was not available. Nice atmosphere. Quite busy and noisy so not for a quiet dinner (maybe the Christmas party rush added to the busyness). A like the place, been before and would go back.
