The restaurant is located in the heart of the revitalized Madison Street area, just four blocks West of Harlem Avenue.

We gathered for the third time to celebrate a birthday in our group. Our waiters was fantastic. We started with a proper drink at the bar before moto our table in the front atrium/patio room. Everyone enjoyed their meals and had an excellent experience. This place is consistently good and recommended.
Terrific service and cuisine! This is my favorite place to entertain for business. Great atmosphere and service. Bravo! Well done!
We always enjoy dining at Francesca's Fiore. Our guests were new to the restaurant but they
enjoyed the food, the pleasant atmosphere and great service. Small groups, or large, the staff
puts forth an effort to serve promptly. The food is delicious.
Excellent food, perfect for a special night.
I liked it
Terrific lunch meeting. Prompt service and outstanding meal.
Great food and service. Tender chicken and the roasted potatoes were perfect. Hot fresh bread is a wonderful start to the meal. Appreciate the very courteous and efficient service.
Great food, great cozy vibe
I was disappointed in the food. I had pasta with marinara and mushrooms. The marinara was bitter and that ruined the dish for me. That said, my companions liked their dinners, our waitress was very nice, and the restaurant was warm and cozy.
I had never been to Francesca's for lunch before and was pleasantly surprised by the selection and value. In addition to a lunch menu that includes salads, soups, pastas, paninis and a burger, there are also two lunch options - 3 course set price and a 1/2 salad, sandwich combo.
Our table enjoyed lightly battered calamari, eggplant parm sandwich, chicken parm entree, the Davanti burger and the mushroom salad. Fries were wonderful - crisp and hot. The mushroom salad was served dressing on the side per my request. It didn't need any dressing at all-the creamy goat cheese melted with the mushroom saute to create a lovely dressing. Service was excellent and friendly. Nice wines by the glass selection. Can't wait to go back.
Dinner was delicious and sitting by the fireplace on a cold night was the topping on the cake. Thank you.
We were there to celebrate a friend’s birthday. The staff treated us like VIPs. Everyone was thrilled with all aspects of the meal. Great cocktails to begin the evening followed by the calamari and bruschette fungh. Both were tasty. Entre selections varied, but all were pleased. The evening ended with some wine and desserts. Great place to celebrate a special occasions or have a date night.
Went for the Spaghetti special - delicious!
We had an ok experience.
Wonderful New Year celebration with my husband and son. All our meals were delish, albeit a bit on the pricey side. Love the fried calamari as an appetizer.
We like Francesca's very much and have been there many times. I was disappointed--my fault--because I hadn't read the menu carefully and didn't notice that the new preparation for salmon had a thick cream sauce covering it, which I don't like. When the meal came, I mentioned this to the server, who offered to get me something else; I decided to keep it and scrape off the sauce (which, by the way, was completely unnecessary for the dish), but said that I would appreciate a fresh side of spinach without the cream sauce. However, we were surprised to see that we were charged for the side of spinach when it seemed to have been offered to make up for our disappointment in the salmon. While the charge was taken off ("I have to ask the manager"), we felt that the server should have made sure that it hadn't happened to begin with. (We gave the server a good tip nonetheless.)
Pleasant dinner on Xmas day evening. Service was attentive and our group enjoyed both appetizers and entrees.
Great place for Christmas Eve dinner. Didn’t feel rushed even though it was really busy. Food is always delicious and consistent.
Made reservation and confirmed when they called me. Arrived on time, the hostess didn't recognize our reservation and she and the manager acted like they were annoyed. Sat us in the bar at a high bar table. When I expressed my dissatisfaction the hostess said "we don't guarantee the type of table you will be seated at". This was not a warm greeting.
Christmas Eve dinner was a family affair at this restaurant- nicely done!
Had a great time celebrating my son's birthday. Food and service was awesome
We love this restaurant. The food is consistently very good
Our server was wonderful.
Great food and service. The side room was loud with several very large tables. We only had 3 people
The food was delicious and the server was very nice. My friends and I were celebrating my birthday and I would return to celebrate my birthday there again.
Food and ambiance was excellent. Staff attentive and readily available
I don’t know where to start. First table we had had an A/C leak above dripping onto table. We moved. Then it took about 5 minutes for a server to come to the table. They brought a bread basket without butter and a small plate of grated Parmesan cheese without the olive oil. 5 minutes later a girl who could not understand English asked in broken English if we needed something. I asked if there was supposed to be olive oil on the plate and she said she didn’t understand. I asked for butter and she didn’t understand. We got out Caesar salads and they had noodles or something on them. Also we had a reservation for two and they sat us next to the kitchen which was so loud we could barely hear each other. Needless to say we walked out. If I’m going to pay $30 a plate I clearly expect more. Worst dinner experience ever.
Best whitefish ever!!!!! We love this place. Great service too.
We dined at Francesca's on a Tuesday night and the food was amazing! 3 out of 4 of us ate literally everything on the plate. The Sea Bass was exquisite, as was the whitefish, chicken, and gnocchi. Our waiter was very attentive and even fixed a slight wobble in the table. A wonderful dinner and evening!
We love Francesca's and have been going for years and years. As of late, the experience there is a toss-up. Good or not. Last month, the service was awful. This visit, the service was good - but unfortunately, the kitchen made a mistake on the order. Two of us received our food, and what came for my husband is not what he ordered. What came out was something he could not eat. Normally, one might say, "oh well, it isn't what I ordered, but it looks good and I'll try it." But this is something he cannot eat. So, my son and I had finished our meal when my husband's food arrived. We just sat and waited whilst my husband ate his food. These things happen, it is just unfortunate. They gave my husband a free glass of wine. They are very nice here.
Excellent as always
We have been to Francesca's Fiore in Forest park many times. This was our first time for Sunday brunch. The menu is excellent. We appreciated the soup or salad and half a sandwich choices at a very reasonable price. The staff was attentive but not hovering. The food was excellent. Not a bite was left to take home. Maybe next time we'll order a full meal so we have those delicious left overs.
Loved that we could be accommodated by being in a quieter room. It is so unpleasant to go out to socialize and not be able to hear your company.
My mother and I had a lovely dinner, and our waiter Alex was so nice and cheerful. Great food, great service!
everything was excellent and our waiter Uriel was terrific!!
This was a new find for us. Wonderful surprise. It's affordable but the food is excellent. Sometimes Italian food in the Chicago area can be rather heavy. This was not at all the case here. Really glad I found it.
went there on independence day for an early dinner. the burrata appetizer was wonderful. meal was very good also. we had a cocktail and wine. great place for a date.
We dine often at Francescas and it has always been very good. However our last experience was tremendous. Our server was spot on. The appetizer and main courses were top notch. And our wine was fantastic! We highly recommend!
Our waiter basically forgot about us... never checked in on us.. never asked if we wanted refills on drinks.. and we had to flag someone down to pay the bill.. we sat for almost 20 minutes to pay the check.. the noise level was horrible and there was a screaming baby at the next table.. the food was amazing but soured by the lack of service.. especially when you can watch him actually giving good service to other tables... and just to be clear.. we are not a problem table. The only request was my daughter asked for no tomatoes on her dish.. and you guessed it.. there were tomatoes all over it.. she just picked them off and ate her food.. mainly because it did not look like the waiter was ever coming back.. I honestly think he was mad that we did not all order alchohol...
