Menu colours made reading difficult too dark not enough light
Food was great and so was the service
Food was really tasty and well presented. Portion sizes were also good.
I think the food was over priced for what it was, also it states it’s Italian but the menu choices where limited and included things like burgers and Mexican, which I like, but it’s not Italian!
Brilliant good food good staff good atmosphere overall excellent
Brilliant food, service was very fast and friendly.
Lovely meal, great service. Really good price. Lovely atmosphere. Recommend it. Parking on site good.
We were a little late and called ahead and staff were very relaxed and understanding about it! Food and wine was fabulous as well
Delicious food and great service. Would recommend.
very friendly staff & amazing food! good value for money & lovely cocktails. Will definitely be returning 🙃
Food was really tasty and served hot and in good time. Tables well spaced and our waitress was charming. All waiting staff were wearing masks and whole experience was very positive.
Always had lovely meals here. Enjoyed our night for my lockdown birthday. Lucky for us we have four of us in our house so had a lovely night.
food was yummy
large portions so don't overdo it in the starters
Food delicious as ever. Covid safety measures in place which makes dining feel safe
I booked here as a last minute meal out and I was overjoyed with the service, staff and the food. The restaurant is beautiful, the food is great value for money and the ambience is so cosy and warm. The staff apologised for our food running a little late, which we didn’t think it was, and offered a set of complementary desserts as an apology. Overall, we were so pleased with everything about this restaurant. I’d
recommend Fratellos to anyone.
Only criticism I had was when I booked a table, the menu was not the same as the one online. Not the dishes I wanted so had to just do with what there was.
Lovely place, pizza to die for, great staff, will definitely return
I have emailed a complaint to the hotel. Very disappointing and not value for money.
Lovely place, food was gorgeous and our waitress couldn't of done more for us, very attentive and nothing was too much trouble.
Lovely food , just the bench setting was uncomfortable.
The restaurant is next door to the hotel that my wife and I stayed at. In the current COVID-19 situation we didn't want to venture any further than we had too. Luckily the restaurant was excellent, both in food, service and coping with the COVID restrictions.
We felt very reassured that the safety of customers and staff was being looked after to the highest level. Tables are very widely spaced and are all sanitised as you are about to be seated ensuring that they are as clean as possible for new customers.
The service was friendly, knowledgeable about the menu and to a high standard. All staff at the restaurant should be proud of the delivery of excellent service and food in these extremely difficult times. The menu was different from the online menu, but was still offering a good varied choice in all sections of the menu. We had different mains and shared a pizza bread as an addition to the pasta meals, all excellent. We have no hesitation in recommending this restaurant for an evening meal with great food and service, presented in a very safe way.
The food was really good but it took so long, we spent 3 hours in our table and missed our train.
Booked for 7pm - unable to find our booking - not asked for our name / number for track & trace. Seated for half an hour before we were asked for our drinks order we also ordered main course at same time - drinks arrived 15 minutes later and food arrived at 8pm - food pretty good when it arrived
Waitress staff run off their feet but just not enough staff to cope although restaurant not full. Concerned that the reviews from the previous week were very poor but obviously no changes were made to improve the service and the resultant feedback
Unfortunately the food was terrible and the service wasn’t much better. We had to wait at the door for around 10minutes when we arrived, the restaurant wasn’t busy at this point and a number of staff walked past us. When we were taken to a table it hadn’t been cleaned so then had to stand and wait again. The bruschetta was soggy, the chicken was dry and the chips were far too salty. The lady who took our order did not know what the chefs special dessert was when we were asked to chose she went away and didn’t come back. After our main the chefs special dessert which we had not chosen arrived, I agreed to have it for ease however had one mouthful and it was disgusting. All food came out very quickly as if it had been sat waiting and not cooked to order. We had to wait a long time for cutlery when the food was already on the table and weren’t asked how the food was even though most of it was left.
They had either understaffed and/over booked for Eat Out to Help Out but everybody left disappointed and it was a very poor experience overall. The staff could not have worked harder but they were let down, by understaffing and /or overbooking. They ‘bit off more than they could chew’ and the whole experience was rubbish. We gave up waiting for dessert and left, too. Other people fared worse than we did but every table had a complaint
Took 2 hours to receive food and they brought our main after hours but had not received our starter yet. Took 4 hours to get full meal
Poor management of staff and very slow service. Food was okay
Food was amazing service was slow but with what staff was on did ok understand they are working hard under tough conditions
In the post COVID reality everyone was widely spread around the restaurant (on the Zio side) so there was very little noise or ambience.
The service was friendly, and the food passable, but only because of the 'eat out to help out' scheme. We eat from the £10 three course menu which would have been over-priced at £20.
The wings were adequate, the burger processed and lifeless (no question of being asked 'how do you want it cooked'. My wife's Caesar Salad once again an adequate yet uninspired dish.
At £35 for two three course meals, a large glass of wine and a Strongbow it represented fair value. At full price I would not return, though.
Staff were friendly and they had all necessary precaution to follow COVID guidelines.
It was booked for my birthday, i was extremely upset that when we got there Fratello's was not open and we had to sit else where with a reduced menu. This should of been stated when i booked the table. So not a happy experience of "Fratello's".
Not enough staff unfortunately although those who were serving worked hard. Food very good but pasta portion sizes on the small side
As this is an Italian restaurant, it was unusual not to have Lasagne on the menu, VERY disappointing
Great food, steak done to perfection thougholy recommend this place.
We were given a choice of the Xmas menu on the night, which was an unexpected treat, and it was lovely. Brussels sprouts to die for. Everyone loved the place and the food. We'll be back.
Lovely restaurant which was reasonably quiet, however we were shown to a table right in the middle of all the other diners so felt stuck there - we asked to move which was absolutely fine. Staff were lovely and friendly although my dish was too spicy for me.
We are enjoyed trying out Fratello’s and it was good value for us as we went on a Groupon deal. The service was excellent but the food although abundant was only average tasting and the wine also. I would not have liked to pay the menu price for the meal we had
The best pizza I have had in a long time. Portions were huge. Nice and tasty.
The service we received from Renee and Magdalena was outstanding both very friendly and attentive so much so I have booked another visit on 25th October for 22 people for a special celebration.
Had the Sunday Carvery with my son (8) and husband. The service was great, very quiet but we did go at 3pm. Food was delicious would definitely go again.
