Given that it is a PANDEMIC and the world is upside down, the visit to Fraunces Tavern was a wonderful treat. Salute to you for service, great food and history!
The quantity and quality of the food is just amazing. The service great .
Beat burger I have ever had! Also be sure to try the beet salad!! If you are a history nerd like me this place is a must go! And make sure to do the museum tour as well!
a New York staple with unparalleled customer service.
One of my favorite spots, especially on the weekends when there is live entertainment. The service, food and drinks are always reliable. The fish and chips, burgers and steak frites are all amazing. The brick chicken is a favorite. Be sure to sit in the tavern area for a more fun vibe versus the dining room.
I had the best chicken pot pie ever. Creamy and delicious! I also enjoyed the butter nut soup. I had a great time eating a delicious meal!
Just an awesome vibe, a cozy tavern with great live music, surprisingly exceptional food, great cocktails and an extensive beer list. All at a reasonable price?! I didn’t think it was possible.
Loved the live music on Friday night. Such a cool spot for history and drinks.
Wonderful thanksgiving meal during covid. Delicious food. Warm service. Happy atmosphere. Covid safe.
We went for Thanksgiving dinner. Quite expensive prix fixe menu, but excellent food and service. A tour of the museum was included.
This was my first time and it was Thanksgiving.
Appetizers were terrific.
Turkey was moist and tender.
One of the best turkey meals I've had.
Sides were very tasty.
Service was excellent.
Great place of history. Nice part of the City and friendly service. Good variety on the menu as well.
Great place. Safety precautions taken seriously. Loved it.
Food is always excellent. The server - I usually get the same young fellow every time - is also always excellent. Very helpful
My husband had the short rib pot pie and I had the chicken pot pie. We both sampled the draft beers. The whole experience was great. Great food, beer, atmosphere and service!
It's a different experience these days during COVID but we enjoyed sitting outdoors for lunch and they put a heater right beside us. Happy to be back downtown supporting out favorite places during these odd times.
We loved it so much on Saturday, we went back on Sunday as we were heading back out of town. They remembered who we were and we felt special. It was a great experience the first time and an even better experience the 2nd time!
The food was great and the music is nice. The service was great and variety of food choices.
Great brunch. Great service. Wish the menu had more different types of typical brunch items
Food is always outstanding as is the service. It’s a neighborhood gem that I will continue to visit regularly!
Great place! Great food. Love the history of this tavern. Beautiful ambiance. Big filet mignon!!💖💖💖
Beautiful ambiance, great food. We had the grilled cheese and tomato soup and fish and chips and both were delicious. My mom had the mulled wine and loved it! It was a wonderful birthday lunch! We went to the museum after which was great too! Definitely recommend and we will definitely be returning.
Always a treat to go to Fraunces.
Saturday evening music was a great pick me up- esp in these COVID times!
Excellent in all ways, except I checked in for my Opentable reservation, and they reported I was a no show.
Wonderful food and ambience. Good to know about the history about the Bldg.
I went for a lunch on really nice day this week. Didn't get much sun - I'd recommend sitting on the sidewalk and not the street, since those tables are covered. We had mulled wine to warm up and really enjoyed that. My friend ordered the beet salad and loved that. She was hoping for some bread with it but strangely, the waiter said they didn't have any bread. Meanwhile, I ordered the tomato bisque and a cheese (with Havarti and another cheese) sandwich. The bisque was way too sweet, a common problem with tomato soups in restaurants. The sandwich had a ton of cheese and was a good complement for the soup.
AWESOME PLACE IN NYC! FEELS AWESOME!
Now is a great time to visit Fraunces Tavern. I've been trying to get in here for years--it was always jam-packed. In our new pandemic world, it was quiet, tables were far apart, servers wore masks, and I felt comfortable and safe.
It's bard to go wrong here. Great food and drinks in a a historic and charming venue.
We've lived in the area for years now but never tried it. A wonderful surprise. The menu was varied nicely and the drink offerings extensive.
Excellent service and food
Excellent ambiance, there was a live band playing great oldies. Loved it!
Just spectacular outdoor dining in time of COVID.
Food and drinks were very good! Will go again when the museum opens.
We had a lovely dining experience. Loved dining outside on a beautiful day with such delicious food and drink!
Good basic fare, but I was somewhat surprised they had no ranch dressing for chicken wings and charged extra for a basic substitute salad dressing.
Great food and excellent service. Despite the outdoor dinning, the set up a good spot and its clean, noise moderate and nice. It was our first dinning out since the pandemic hit, and it was nice. Waiting time normal
The service was pretty bad...we ordered a giant pretzel which was pretty good, but after that it took over 30 minutes for someone to come and get our dinner order. They also had a loud band...they weren’t terrible, but sitting right next to the speaker means me and my guest couldn’t talk to each other.
Such a wonderful spot. Safe and clean and GREAT FOOD! Love it here.
