I mentioned in my booking that I was going to re-propose to my wife of 21 years. The staff made our night very special. When I presented my wife with her new engagement ring, they served a dessert with Congratulations written in chocolate. I did not even know that they were going to do that. As for the food, the steaks are to die for. This is an awesome dining experience. I would recommend 100% for the food alone !!!!!! MoreOpenTable Diner -
We went on Saturday at 6.30pm as they opened so ,unsurprisingly,it was quiet. We liked the intimate rooms. Service was extremely good .My wife loved her raw salmon starter and we enjoyed the 'Tagliata' signature dish of sirloin. All in all a very pleasing experience - we would go back MoreOpenTable Diner -

Diners' Choice Winners: Best Overall

Great all round meal. Service excellent, including sommelier. The decor and ambiance are excellent. Foie gras to start was a pleasure, and finished with a nice cheese selection. The main issue for me was the main course. Had four choices. Stared at the menu for a while wishing there were more choices as none of the four appealed very much. Chose the fallow deer. The plate arrived with four cubes on it, occupying about a third of the plate. My first assumption was that they would bring the deer separately. It turned out that one of the cubes was the deer. A bit minimalist! Still it was a very enjoyable meal. MoreOpenTable Diner -
British food, very very well done. Would highly recommend to everyone. Had the bone marrow - well executed plain simple bone marrow on toast with salt and parsley lemon salad. Venison liver and mash - best dish with liver succulent and well seared. For dessert I had bread pudding with butterscotch sauce - the sauce was not too sweet and just the right amount of burntness. 8.5/10 MoreOpenTable Diner -
This was our second visit to Brigadiers. Last time was a birthday lunch and this was a Saturday evening business meal. Both times we were seated in Blighters and loved the atmosphere each time. Our server was really friendly and patient with us as we spent too long catching up and not enough time looking at the menu. Starters were amazing and we all shared a few of the dishes and cleared the lot. Our guests were a little worried as they normally stick to meat off the bone and were looking for something with chicken breast for main which isn't really an option as it's not what is eaten in India. However they were really impressed with their eventual choices as well as ours. The starters were so good we almost didn't have room for a mains and definitely not for dessert which was a pity. We had to vacate our table as we took so long to choose our food but it was handled really well and we were found room at the bar to have coffee and after dinner drinks. Overall we would definitely recommend Brigadiers and I'm hoping I'll have room for dessert next time. MoreOpenTable Diner -
