We were staying over in Oxford for the nights and so were looking for somewhere nice to eat. My Wife is vegetarian and cannot eat Gluten so usually ends up with the same old stuff. Curry or risotto. The coconut tree menu caught our eye so we booked and Boy, were we glad we did. The staff were brilliant. We had not had Sri Lankan street food before so she spent a good 10 minutes with us explaining the menu options and what each dish was about. Unbelievably about a third of the dishes on the menu my Wife could eat so she was in her element. They also cater well for Vegans as well. When the food arrived it was truly amazing. I am not going to lie i completely fell in love with Sri Lankan food there and then. It is just an awesome fusion of spices, sweet, heat and wholesome, it just blew us away. This was all washed down with cocktails followed by an absolutely scrummy desert. To sum up: Awesome food, awesome people, great atmosphere, good value. Chance of us returning... 100%. I would totally recommend the Coconut tree and we cannot wait until we return to Oxford. More

Lovely relaxing sunday lunch with family.... a roast lunch all round including a veggie option which was a little unusual but delicious. We were offered additional Yorkshire puddings and gravy which was very thoughtful. Lovely lunch - we go regularly. More

Just been for a weekend away in oxford had an evening meal at The Folly the food was excellent and the staff could not do enough for you it was a really lovely evening. Would definitely go back if we visit oxford again. More
