Welcoming from the minute we arrived, efficient service , the best meal we had in 3 days at Cambridge , the first place we would re visit.
Really delicious food and friendly staff. Very comfortable restaurant and not too busy out loud. Would go again!
The restaurant coped with the Covid problem very well, and we thoroughly enjoyed our meal and visit.
A great place for an informal, casual,
dining experience, highly recommended.
We had dinner here on a Saturday evening.
The manager was a tad rude and unfriendly. He came across like we was being a inconvenience to him.
The waitress was unhelpful when asking about wine etc. Seemed she wasn't interested in working there.
The food was dry and very salty.
The actual restaurant was a lovely little find with balconies over looking the canal. Would suit a couple on a romantic evening.
One meal was the chicken dish and it wasn’t cooked. The green salad was tasteless and the cheesecake dessert was lumpy and overall disappointing!
First trip to Cambridge and loved sitting on the balcony outside. Staff very good and food was lovely
Only positive about this place it’s the location next to the river, everything else was mediocre at best.
Fab location, great food shame no cheese and biscuits 😟
Beautiful restaurant. It was our second visit.
There is a good system for managing social distancing and care taken when handling customers.
The food is delicious.
Highly recommend galleria for a nice meal out.
A lovely place to have our first meal out again! We sat overlooking the river and enjoyed our meal greatly. Very friendly service.
Lovely fresh food lovely view of river cam. Really underrated!
The restaurant location is great and food was really good. My only criticism is the toilets were poor, did not look clean and in need of update
Good place to eat, food really nice value also really good. Service not great, the girl maybe had an off night, she didnt want to be there, also felt a bit rushed. Overall good thanks to the food
Very relaxed vibe with not much noise. The food was lovely and the service was great! The only issue I found was that the drinks were rather expensive.
Had the best experience in the area. I would definitely rebook it. Can’t wait to go agaib
Food was fantastic! Service was great and staff were very friendly and professional. The Galleria is a really nice restaurant and we will be back.
Great food, quick excellent service and location
Italian food is always a great idea, especially at Galleria! Food was really really good, the service was friendly and the atmosphere was very nice.
a good setting, excellent food and wine. Very good service
Great food, great service and great value for money as well. Will definitely be eating there again
Great location , staff very friendly food was presented well and arrived quickly and was very good
The food was delicious and very reasonably priced. The drinks however were rather expensive. Also the toilets are not in great condition and by the back door which was open all night so was very cold. All in all though, I would highly recommend and would return myself!
The quality of the food was outstanding! Really tasty, well presented, perfect portion.
The service was incredibly slow, but it was a busy bank holiday and understaffed
The menu on open table is about £2-3 cheaper than the one in the restaurant - which is slightly frustrating when planning on a budget.
Always recommend this place. Quality of food is great, reasonably priced and something on the menu for everyone. Staff always pleasant and I look forward to eating here.
We had a wonderful Waiter to start with and the surroundings are amazing food was great but when the second waitress came along it all turned bad left to sit in for 20 minutes with the pudding menu just ignored us.Overall I would definitely go back again
So the water was nice as was the view! However, the service was poor, there was no atmosphere and the food was terrible. The waiter simply said your table is on the balcony and didn’t show us to our seats so we had to guess which table was ours. The food was very bland and not that hot. The waiter showed poor attention to the table. We had to set the table ourselves as the knives and forks were just placed in the middle. When I complained that the food wasn’t great it took me three attempts to say it as the waiter ignored my comments. He then made a rude comment that we had eaten our food (this is true as we were very hungry). Although he deducted money from the bill his attitude with dealing with the complaint was very poor. I have eaten here in the past and it was lovely. We will never return to this restaurant.
Wonderful and friendly service but terrible pastas, no taste what so ever
My daughter and I recently enjoyed lunch outside on the lower floor overlooking the River Cam. This is a great spot as you can enjoy watching the punting going by.
The food served was absolutely delicious, fresh produce, great flavours, all beautifully presented. Our waiter was charming and even offered us blankets. Service was faultless. We will definitely be returning here!
I enjoyed everything about the restaurant including the great staff and the nice food. One recommendation would be to just clean up the finishing touches for Example the toilets and the outside balcony's just need a touch up of paint.
We returned here as we had loved it the last time we visited. We were not disappointed and the food was delicious and reasonably priced . Service is friendly and pleasant . Weather didnt allow us to sit outside but we would like to go back and enjoy sitting by the river. Recommend the crab linguine which was delicious.
Had a very enjoyable birthday lunch here. Lovely outside table watching the punting on the cam . Good food and service.
Great location over looking the river. We had a terrace table with a fab view. Food was lovely and surprisingly large portions which was great with some tasty cocktails. Excellent service - the only tiny complaint is that they don’t have a cheese option on the desert menu which is odd - but overall a great experience
Lunch was absolutely perfect
Could not fault a single thing
Great venue, amazing views of River Cam, great value for money
We will return
We haven’t been here for a few years. But it did not disappoint us. The food and service was very good and the lunch time menu had a varied choice to suit all palettes. Gin and tonic seem expensive but it’s trendy.
Very efficient staff - food and cocktails both outstanding- definitely recommend
New Favourite Restaurant! Food was great right from the starters to the dessert!
Had a lovely lunch with hubby and friends. Great service and sat in window so great position. Had the mackerel pate (yumo) to start the monk fish main. Only thing I can say is a bit more sauce would’ve been good but tast was lovely. Tiramisu for dessert. Beautiful gin drink too (spit roasted pineapple gin). Can’t wait for it to be warmer so we can sit on balcony.
Very nice food, service was good, if perhaps a bit quick. I had the king prawns as a starter and then the Moroccan chicken - both were delicious, but those who like large portions may be a bit hungry and will require a pud!
Ideally placed for a pre-theatre meal when attending the ADC theatre. We booked for 17:00 on a Saturday and the restaurant was empty when we arrived but soon started to fill thereafter.
