The offer needs to be pre-booked in advance.
It was a booking originally for 5 November, which I'd managed to change to 4 November the moment I realised that Covid Lockdown would mean cancellation.
Traffic from W London was horrendous, and I'd had to phone them twice from the taxi and we ended up being a little over 45 minutes late.
When we finally arrived, the staff were fantastic, healing our frazzled nerves with calm professionalism (and the champagne we ordered helped)
Originally we'd been told that we'd have to vacate the table by 8pm, but that was quickly forgotten and we had the unhurried taster menu, which was lovely. Matched wines too (it was a birthday celebration, albeit a day early)
Nice view of fireworks from window too.
Staff and service were exceptional. Thank you.
Once it reopens, I'd highly recommend it.
It represents reasonable value for a meal of this standard, in this town, and since we can't go on holiday, felt the right thing to do, but by no means cheap.
Our waiter was fantastic, some of the team were too harsh or pretentious but reception was great and food was just impeccable
Always fabulous. Food, staff, ambiance top notch. Always made to feel welcome and the food is AMAZING
Had a terrific meal yet again at Galvin at Windows. When one takes into account the quality of the food, the setting and the service this has to be hands down one of the best restaurants in the whole of London. We really enjoy Mayfair and all the restaurants it has to offer and we've always been really happy every time we have eaten here.
The Sunday roast was exceptional.
Service just the right balance between being friendly and helpful but not over attentive.
Tip: parking is very reasonable too in the underground car park if you book in advance.
The food, atmosphere and view is second to none. The only slight low is the glass of bubbles is prosecco instead of champagne.
An exceptional restaurant with breathtaking views across London. The staff were very friendly and made the whole experience an enjoyable one. We will certainly be back again in the near future.
What a night!!! Service - tick, food - tick, table - tick - just spectacular in every way. We had the Tasting Menu - an absolute blow out - not cheap and the pairing wine to go with it. I would of loved to go with the Fine Wines pairing, but had to call a halt at some point based on cost!! It was worth every penny, we were so well looked after. There was a large service charge at the end of the night, but we paid it because the service and food was outstanding. I am biased I love this place, but never had the Tasting Menu before and it was amazing - some things may not suit your palate - ie goats cheese but they accommodated a change to the menu - we didn't ask but my son didn't like one of the courses and they took it away and offered a change! Superb occasion, topped off with a stay over too!! Decadence completely!! Would I do it again, abso-blooming-lutely!
Fixed menu was good value but limited.
All very good.
Amazing service, food was amazing too
brilliant food brilliant service and great wines. all in all fantastic as ever
A lovely venue with excellent views. If you need a foil to a tricky meeting this works brilliantly. Food was well prepared and there's an excellent wine list. Perhaps lacking the service levels required to meet the cost overall but this may be Covid-related. I can think of other venues that I might have preferred for the same value however.
We had the loveliest time at Galvins At Windows celebrating our anniversar. The food was exquisite, the view was amazing, the staff were very friendly and efficient.
Attentive service, great view and good value with the OpenTable deal. Would be happy to take friends there again.
Excellent Sunday Lunch, truly enjoyed our day here , Sunday lunch is great value and well presented great food and service , wonderful views been many times will be abck
Consistently great food and service. Shame Covid has seen the menu made smaller. Hopefully full menu will be back on soon
overall enjoyed the experience, the only complaint was the table not being ready at the time we booked it for. However the staff were very pleasant and attentive, which meant you didn't notice the waiting time.
We had the discounted 4 course Summer menu which included a small glass of champagne each. We also had a bottle of wine, water and additional side.
Food was great, tasty and displayed well. Wine was a reasonable price.
Staff were all amazing. Friendly and efficient. We have been several times here before and wanted to support the restaurant during Covid times.
Great views by the window too!
We decided to book on the spur of the moment for a friend’s birthday and it did not disappoint . Fabulous food, great service and the soufflé for dessert was the best I have ever eaten. This offer should be taken whilst you get the chance to experience an amazing meal whilst we have an empty London... you won’t get it again!!
First restaurant visit post lockdown., so have high expectation. The ambiance as always is fabulous especially we were seated by the windows. This is not the first time we dined here. The staff was attentive and welcoming. We were look after well.
The Sunday lunch menus was well thought through, plenty of options. I had the Cured Faroe Islands salmon as a starter. It was well presented and the sauce full of flavour. However I was slightly disappointed with the actual salmon itself as it was blend, lack of taste. So that part of the ingredient needs to be replaced with higher quality item,
My Landes chicken, peas à la Française, Wiltshire truffle as main was good.
My partner has the beef for main. She thoroughly enjoyed it. The portion was generous. The only thing is that the Yorkshire pudding was on the dry crunchy side.
Overall we had a great lunch. A pleasure way to spend Sunday lunch with friends of course with social distance....
We had the perfect night celebrating our AnnIversary belatedly. Because of the current situation but it was worth waiting for. The food was absolutely delicious as well as creative and perfectly balanced and the kitchen has no problem finding excellent alternatives to satisfy our dietary requirements. The service Was exceptionaL, both professional and warm. Can’t wait to find another excuse for a celebration to return
Beautiful views, food and service
Excellent all round - many thanks indeed. Sommelier went above and beyond
Exceptional food, exemplary service and amazing views!
It was great to be back dining at Galvin’s. The food was excellent, perfectly cooked and exquisitely served. It was also a lovely summers evening hence the views from the top of the hotel were fantastic. The staff were great. Highly recommended!
Really excellent all round experience. Lovely food, amazing service, and great value. Shame that a rainy night spoiled the view, but it hardly mattered.
Super restaurant with great bar next door providing views over London. Staff superb and attentive. Food excellent. Recommend highly will return soon.
A real favourite, with wonderfully friendly staff and incredible views across London. The food was exceptional under the previous head chef (Jooyoung Won) and remains so since reopening with new chef Marc Hardiman. New GM Peter Avis gave us a friendly welcome and was keen to hear feedback from guests. We hope to return again soon!
Such an amazing view, plus exceptional service. Golden hour cocktail was superb. A must visit for all lovers of quality food, and 5 star surroundings.
Celebrated my husband's birthday with a group of friends. Views are incredible, and the food is even better. Highly recommend.
My husband enjoyed his meal very much & in every respect.
I enjoyed my starter.
My Pinot Noir wine was sour, like a supermarket cheap version which even my husband wouldn't take over from me. I chose the roast beef. It was cold as was the meal in general, tough & flavourless. The Yorkshire pudding was grey & looked like it was left over from before Lockdown. My desert was a weird choux pastry thing which was supposed to involve wild strawberries. I had 2 thin slices of normal strawberries. Most of the desert was a sickly brownish cream I couldn't identify. I complained to the manager who took details of my complaints & our coffees were free.
No amuse bouche, no petit fours which I expect in a restaurant like this.
The views are worth going for but I suggest limiting your visit to a drink in the bar.
It was way beyond our expectations. The staff was the cherry on the top, simply amazing.
Galvin at Windows offers fine dining and superb views across London. The staff there are welcoming and friendly and the food is to die for. We booked the brunch deal which was £29 for three courses and a bellini. We really enjoyed it although were a little surprised that the three choices for the main course were all variations on eggs benedict. That said, the eggs were delicious and the hollandaise sauce was rich and creamy. We really enjoyed ourselves and would absolutely return again. Thank you to everyone for a wonderful lunch.
Excellent (food so good that one would go back and have the same) set lunch menu with the ever present stupendous view.
It is rare that a set menu can delight so much.
The Kimchi risotto was a delight as was the Yorkshire rhubarb for pudding.
Service impeccable. Attentive but unobtrusive.
Another fantastic meal in Windows. The food was superb, Iberico pork dish wonderful. Service A1. Thank you to the team for a wonderful lunch experience, a further mention and thank you to our Sommelier for lunch. Philippe , I believe. Knowledgeable, informal and a quality sense of humour.
Came here for lunch after a special occasion (a trip to the palace!) for a celebratory lunch, and it was simply fantastic... cocktails first in the classy bar, then lunch in the smart dining room, with terrific views. The food was excellent, and the staff were lovely. Would definitely come back!
The evening was planned to celebrate an anniversary and the restaurant exceeded expectations, with highly attentive staff, delicious food and relaxing ambience (not to mention the amazing views)
For the price, I had expect the quality of taste to be better than good, but to my disappointment, they were just good; nothing special. It was no surprised why they lost their one Michelin star. Regardless, Galvin by Windows had give excellent service. Staff were very well accommodating and the view from the 28th floor was splendid. I might return for the bar and the views, but will not be returning for food.
We started the evening in the bar with a couple of cocktails and a views over towards Knightsbridge at night. All the staff were very attentive and welcoming. The food was excellent. My Chateaubriand and my desert were especially enjoyable as was the wine of the month and the 1994 Grahams port which I saviored after the meal.
Excellent service , the staff where all very friendly , made you feel welcome , explained and suggested drinks/ food choices . Lovely atmosphere and ambience. Overall a fabulous time and would definitely recommend and go back
