Located high up on the 28th floor of the London Hilton at 22 Park Lane, Galvin at Windows restaurant and bar has become one of the capital’s most talked-about destination dining venues since its opening in 2006. Head Chef Joo Won and Chef Patron Chris Galvin have created seasonally inspired menus based around modern French haute cuisine that have now earned the restaurant its first, much-deserved Michelin Star. Renowned for its peerless views over the capital, including iconic sites like Hyde Park and Buckingham Palace, Galvin at Windows is a restaurant where honest food and genuine hospitality are already a tradition after just a few short years. Because of the elegance of the room and the jaw-dropping 360-degree views, Galvin at Windows is certainly a destination restaurant with fine service and all the trimmings. But, clever Galvin staff, the set lunch menu and bar express menu bring this sublime French cuisine within reach.

Private Dining

Located on the 28th floor of the London Hilton on Park Lane and enjoying views across London, Galvin at Windows is the ultimate destination restaurant. The Balcony, which is located by the bay windows, makes the most of its position, offering a view across Park Lane, Hyde Park and West London.

We really enjoyed our meal and the food was very nice although maybe not as good as a meal we had at Galvin La Chapelle. The weather wasn't very good but the view was still very enjoyable. We liked the touch of having postcards on the table to write which the restaurant would then post for you.

Impeccable service and delicious food. I had this restaurant on my list for a while and I was finally able to go. I had the lunch menu offer for £33 with a glass of Bellini.

The pre-theatre menu was rather limiting with just two courses to choose from each section - starters, mains and pudding.

When we arrived we were invited to go over to the bar to have a drink before hand which we declined as time was not exactly on our side.

However, when we sat down at the table we were somewhat hurried to make our orders and were told the tables were timed, which we knew anyway, hence I do not understand the initial invitation to go and have a drink at the bar before hand.

We were even told by the head waiter that all our food may arrive at the same time if we didn't order quickly. And this was just about 10 minutes after we sat down. I found that time of behaviour rather unacceptable.

You can have a set menu which is very affordable to a restaurant like this or go wild with a la carte. Ambiance, service, tastes are all perfect. One of the best views of London!

We were very interested to see how Windows was under the new Manager, if anything Antonino has brought a new brightness to the service, still the height of professionalism but with a youthful friendliness that has it firmly in the 21st century.
The food, as ever, was delicious and Rudina the Sommelier and her team have introduced exciting new wines to the list.
There was a very large party for a 50th at the far end but this was not disturbingly loud.
Sunday lunch at Windows continues to be one of the best options in London.

Disappointed. Did the tasting menu with wine paired wine, was ok. Couple of courses were bland and couple of the wines weren’t to our taste and couldn’t see how it was paired to the course. DJ playing in the bar on a Saturday night all you could hear was thumping bass whilst trying to enjoy a celebratory meal.

Wouldn’t visit again tbh and would recommend other restaurants over this.

Galvin at Windows had been on my to visit list for a while now, and I'm very glad I did, the staff are a credit to the restaurant, you're treated impeccably from the time you arrive, 'til the time you leave! Then there's the views, stunning! The food was superb as was the wine list, we look forward to returning!

We had lunch here on 28th May 2019 to celebrate my wife's birthday. We have visited for lunch many times and have never been disappointed. A drink in the bar before the meal is a must with the spectacular views over London. The staff are very friendly and nothing is too much trouble. We had the set menu with wine the onion soup was especially tasty followed by sea bream and as it was my wife's birthday a small cake with a candle on a plate with Happy Birthday written on was greatly appreciated. It's a great setting very relaxing and if possible on request you may have a window table. The marshmallows after coffee are fantastic.

Restaurant has a seventies vibe and feels desperately tired from a decor perspective.
Food is excellent. Beautifully cooked with great ingredients.
But didn’t really wow us as much as perhaps we were hoping. We seemed to have almost the only table without a clear view,
service was excellent but they were a little pushy - “another glass of wine?” when I hadn’t finished my first.
Meal was expensive but we expected that. But really cannot give it more than 2/5 for VFM.
Very glad to have been and it is a special meal but not outstanding at this rarified level.

Although I do not use Windows as often as I once did, hence my decision after 30 years as a premium card member not to renew after October 2018, I found the experience as enjoyable as ever and my two guest were really impressed.

It was a bright sunny day and the views are amazing.

The ambience, service, food and drinks were excellent

I will return soon and may even review my membership decision

Not surprisingly, the London city view was the drawing card, as was the referral from two Londoner cruise ship passengers who happened to sit by us at breakfast while at sea. The food (we chose the pre-theater menu even though the theater was not part of our evening) was beautifully presented on the plate and was, of course, delicious. It was also artfully presented to us at table with almost the same flourish by staff as removing the silver lid might be in much snootier establishments. The staff to customer ratio is very high. I counted eleven staff interacted with us during our 2 hours with them and every one was professional, courteous and concerned for our enjoyment of the evening. Highly recommend adding this to your London adventure!
