Celebrated my husband's birthday with a group of friends. Views are incredible, and the food is even better. Highly recommend.
My husband enjoyed his meal very much & in every respect.
I enjoyed my starter.
My Pinot Noir wine was sour, like a supermarket cheap version which even my husband wouldn't take over from me. I chose the roast beef. It was cold as was the meal in general, tough & flavourless. The Yorkshire pudding was grey & looked like it was left over from before Lockdown. My desert was a weird choux pastry thing which was supposed to involve wild strawberries. I had 2 thin slices of normal strawberries. Most of the desert was a sickly brownish cream I couldn't identify. I complained to the manager who took details of my complaints & our coffees were free.
No amuse bouche, no petit fours which I expect in a restaurant like this.
The views are worth going for but I suggest limiting your visit to a drink in the bar.
It was way beyond our expectations. The staff was the cherry on the top, simply amazing.
Galvin at Windows offers fine dining and superb views across London. The staff there are welcoming and friendly and the food is to die for. We booked the brunch deal which was £29 for three courses and a bellini. We really enjoyed it although were a little surprised that the three choices for the main course were all variations on eggs benedict. That said, the eggs were delicious and the hollandaise sauce was rich and creamy. We really enjoyed ourselves and would absolutely return again. Thank you to everyone for a wonderful lunch.
Excellent (food so good that one would go back and have the same) set lunch menu with the ever present stupendous view.
It is rare that a set menu can delight so much.
The Kimchi risotto was a delight as was the Yorkshire rhubarb for pudding.
Service impeccable. Attentive but unobtrusive.
Another fantastic meal in Windows. The food was superb, Iberico pork dish wonderful. Service A1. Thank you to the team for a wonderful lunch experience, a further mention and thank you to our Sommelier for lunch. Philippe , I believe. Knowledgeable, informal and a quality sense of humour.
Came here for lunch after a special occasion (a trip to the palace!) for a celebratory lunch, and it was simply fantastic... cocktails first in the classy bar, then lunch in the smart dining room, with terrific views. The food was excellent, and the staff were lovely. Would definitely come back!
The evening was planned to celebrate an anniversary and the restaurant exceeded expectations, with highly attentive staff, delicious food and relaxing ambience (not to mention the amazing views)
For the price, I had expect the quality of taste to be better than good, but to my disappointment, they were just good; nothing special. It was no surprised why they lost their one Michelin star. Regardless, Galvin by Windows had give excellent service. Staff were very well accommodating and the view from the 28th floor was splendid. I might return for the bar and the views, but will not be returning for food.
We started the evening in the bar with a couple of cocktails and a views over towards Knightsbridge at night. All the staff were very attentive and welcoming. The food was excellent. My Chateaubriand and my desert were especially enjoyable as was the wine of the month and the 1994 Grahams port which I saviored after the meal.
Excellent service , the staff where all very friendly , made you feel welcome , explained and suggested drinks/ food choices . Lovely atmosphere and ambience. Overall a fabulous time and would definitely recommend and go back
Great location on the 28th floor with stunning views, the service was impeccable. However, we found the food to be bland and overpriced, £298 for two, x3 course meals including a bottle of wine, we expected to be blown away but we was not.
Excellent in every way thank you
Incredible food, view and service. Great wine list as well!
Superb service to accompany delightful food. The views are marvellous as a bonus. The market menu at lunch time is exceptionally good value
Very accommodating staff, great food and of course the view. A lovely lunch.
Wonderful service but tiny dishes
This is a must dining experience in London. Where in other cities a high-floor, city-view dining venue would be best regarded for the view, food is the key here. The dining experience is an ultimate pleasure. The staff are always at their best to serve you. The Galvin Brothers should be most proud of what they have accomplished here.
Great location with superb views.
Service was excellent and waiters very knowledgeable
Found the starters quite limited, but just personal preference, my partner was happy
Stunning experience. All made very special by Antonio with his charm and attention to details.
Our second visit and definitely won't be our last. Such amazing service, friendly, polite and non intrusive.
We had a set menu and can honestly say it was perfect.
With the perfect setting, and amazing views, complimented with delicious cocktails, thank you for making our valentine's dinner and my attempt at being a super hero very easy Indeed.
We will be back again soon but not soon enough!
We both had a great time the cocktail in the bar was a must as the view was fabulous ..
Will definitely go back again
Waiting staff were absolutely lovely, could not fault the service. Menu you has lots to choose from and was presented very well. My fish was over cooked , which I did tell them. Unfortunately it was very cold the evening that we were there, apparently there was a problem with the heating. Views are stunning
Sommelier fantastic and very knowledgeable
Only disappointment was that the bar was closed for a private party that was starting later in the day
As always the service was perfect with staff being there but not intrusive. The food was delicious as always and the ambiance delightful. We were celebrating 5 birthdays so the individual cakes were very much appreciated. It was suggested we had the £58 menu - 3 courses, water, half a bottle of wine and coffee. All good except we had tap water . We were asked if we would like more coffee which we did and were charged extra for it. A top up was all that was needed. But we will be back next year to celebrate again .
Outstanding Restaurant with breathtaking views, top Sommelier!!!
Great food, great setting and overall great experience. One of the best restaurants my partner and I have been to.
Food excellent as always. However service seemed rushed for the time of booking. Drinks and plates taken before items where finished. Booked a specifically for "lunch" and phoned to confirm but only brunch offered. Disappointing visit on this occasion....WAS our favourite restaurant :-(
Always a great service, best views in london & superb food
Spectacular restaurant! Great food, so flavoured, the best service I have ever had and breathtaking view. Totally recommended for couples, datings, special events and romantic occasions.
This is the second time we have eaten at this restaurant & were so impressed the first time we returned with friends. What a huge disappointment our experience was this time. On both occasions we had the tasting menu with wine flight. The food had zero ‘wow’ factor which it should have for the price being charged. The Korean wine served with one dish was absolutely awful, the Sommelier even agreed!!! I will not return even for the beautiful view. Drastic action needs to be taken for the food to impress!
Been to Galvins many times, both Chapelle and At Windows. I feel the food is nowhere near as good, at Galvins at Windows, anyhow. Service also could have been better
Fabulous lunch, great service and lovely atmosphere. It'a a very relaxing place for lunch with excellent views as well. The staff look after you really well but don't bother you unnecessarily. This was my 3rd/4th visit and I will be back again soon.
The Beef special was amazing, the service was flawless. Nice choice of wine and at a reasonable price. I love this place.
From the moment we entered the lift to reach the restaurant we experienced excellent service. We were given a lovely window table with a great view.
My friend and I decided on the set menu and it was superb! The main course of pollock was divine - so light and fresh/tasting. The dark chocolate tart with Orange sorbet was also outstanding. My friend and I often sample set lunch menus and Galvin’s at Windows is now in our top 10. Will definitely go again. They have interesting offers such as brunch. I highly recommend this restaurant.
incredible experience. very helpful staff, informative and amazing views.
We opted for the Saturday brunch menu, was decent enough, but shocked to see that we were charged for butter... 🙃🙃 fair enough we ordered bread, but to charge for butter was a bit strange.
Anyway food was lovely.
Great brunch with amazing views, fantastic service and high quality food. Kids loved it
Great service, great views of london but I was not impressed with the quality of the food.
