About
The Atmosfer was very weak and the service was like very casual and the price is too much for that kind of Atmosfer and service
everything was very good. expensive but good )))))))
1. The food is definitely overpriced, in terms of food quality and price matching.
2. The Churrasco de Churizzo is not worth trying. The meat is dry, marble part is not properly cooked. (I ordered the medium rare)
3. Staff is helpful in making up the unsatisfying dish
4. The chef has very inadequate understanding of level of steaks. Due to my previous complaint, to make fillet steaks more tender, the kitchen cooked fillet rare instead of medium rare.
Too low light and very expensive with food medium quality, also in Dubai
Was a lovely bit too relaxed experience wanted to visit gaucho Dubai A’s love London gaucho but ambience was not as vibrant and service was slow but staff were lovely about it
Excellent food with sufficient options to chose from and noise level still allowing for a good conversation over dinner and a drink.
Very great service and the food is unfair to even rate, it was amazingly delicious. Everything from the moment you arrive to the moment to exit it is just amazing. Thank you guys for a great evening.
Average experience . There are better steakhouses in Dubai . Free anniversary dessert was a nice touch
I took my girlfriend out on date to Gaucho. First impressions was positive from the host on the door, ambience was nice and lively. Unfortunately our waiter was simply rude. He judged us on everything we ordered from the drinks we chose to the food we selected. His bad service ruined our evening entirely. I think on another evening with a different waiter I would come away feeling different but sadly I will not be giving this restaurant another chance.
The customer service is great and prompt. However the steak cut and quality does was not as expected. We have dined at some of the best steak places in London and Dubai and this was disappointing. Gaucho do not offer high grade beef and the price tag is a bit high for what they do offer. The meat was not cooked to our liking (medium-rare) and went cold very quickly.
Rest of the experience was great but I will not be visiting again unfortunately.
Gaucho has a good lunch deal and is very quiet, so ideal for a business lunch. Unfortunately our waitress was having a bad day, resulting in slow and messy service. Bread arrived After the appetisers, drinks served without coasters leaving the table wet, when placing cutlery on the table she wasn't bothered to walk around the table and found it easier to reach over other guests and hand the cutlery, and got the dessert completely wrong (banana not mango). I've been there on other occasions and the service was much better.
First visit but good food and service. Steak great and atmosphere was great as well.
Firstly, overall, we had a decent time at Gaucho. The food was to a high standard, especially the beef, which should be from a name like Gaucho. The setting is pleasant although we were the only people there for around an hour between 3pm and 4pm on a Saturday. 4 of us had a roast dinner package. I believe the cost to be around 250 p/p which is decent value, and we also used 2 x entertainer vouchers which reduced the cost from 1,000 to 500 for 4 not including extras. On arrival we had 2 x draft Peroni (circa 400ml) and 1 house white wine spritzer and one glass Merlot (house). My friend and I added 100gms each to our size of beef which at 70 dhs each seemed fair. We all took the 2 hr drinks package at 210 dhs each, which again seemed fair as around 3 glasses of wine would cost the same. At the end we had 3 Irish coffees and then a couple of single bourbons (Bulleit) and from memory 2 black coffees. The total bill came to AED 2,200 after discount. Please note that charging AED 72.80 (after taxes) for a short draft Peroni is laughable. If someone said I'd be paying AED 145.60 for 2 short beers I'd have laughed and gone somewhere else. It's a shame as most of your servers and the food was fine. I would recommend for the food and wine package only but the + 7% DIFC tax doesn't help and I'd advise people to steer away from the Peroni draft. There is much better value elsewhere.
I was so excited to eat at Gaucho that I booked a table twice. I was looking forward to finally sampling the food and where better than in Dubai.
Upon first entering, you would never know Gaucho is in the building as you enter via a car park and take the loft to the designated floor.
Someone on reception found my booking on their system and I was seated straight away.
I was able to choose where I sat as it wasn’t busy when I arrived.
Staff stood around talking and didn’t seem to notice me. I was playing a game on my phone from boredom. Once my food order was taken, I was again left alone while my food was being prepared.
I ordered from the set menu and had the roast beef dinner with desert. I asked for the beef to be well done and it was. I loved it. At first-the lady who took my order hesitated as though she was going to tell me this wasn’t possible but it was. The veg, gravy and Yorkshire pudding all tasted lovely and I ate almost all my food.
Desert was a little disappointing. I ordered the banana and coconut mess. It was so sweet that I couldn’t finish it. I didn’t want any banana as I don’t like that fruit but I wasn’t offered an alternative. It was that or nothing so I had my desert without the banana.
Staff again were talking constantly in between fussing over other guests whereas I was left on my own.
For such an establishment I found this to be completely unacceptable.
Another person was on their own and I didn’t seem them being ignored or left waiting.
It was really poor service. It’s my first time in Dubai on my own and rather than have every dinner at my hotel, I had booked a meal at various restaurants throughout my stay.
I have since cancelled my second booking at Gaucho. Another restaurant was recommended to me by someone and they believe it’s worth trying so I will book a table there.
For the first time ever-I didn’t leave a tip. I paid the correct amount and not a penny more. I will never return to this restaurant in Dubai.
Food and service were both outstanding. Will definitely be returning and recommending.
From the moment we arrived at the reception we received a friendly, warm, and very professional service. The decor is just beautiful and we were blown away with glass wine room. We both had steak and it was perfectly cooked all the sides and sauces to accompany the beautiful meat were delicious.
I would certainly recommend Gaucho for a special meal.
My husband and I are excited about trying Gaucho for friday brunch.
Thank you
Fabulous food especially the tuna tartare and lobster tacos. Fantastic cocktails old refreshing beer and house red wine was malbec!
What a fantastic night we had celebrating our 30th wedding anniversary, we were totally looked after and spoilt the staff were lovely and the food amazing, a night to remember x
Waitress was exceptional fantastic service ,can’t place her name possibly began with a V and she had short dark hair.
Tender steak, delicious lobster starter, lovely tuna tartar.
Attentive staff: could have a better knowledge of alcoholic drink brands and non alcoholic cocktails available (as this info is not on the menu) - needed a description of what is being delivered at the table - recommend that serving cutlery is delivered with sharing plates - explain that a repeat order of starter is available on request.
From approximately 2pm a family entered with a young baby. This baby cried loudly till 4pm. Either seat families in a zone away from other diners or politely escort guardians of crying babies to an area where they can soothe the child. Gaucho is an expensive restaurant and should host an environment worthy of the retail price.
We asked for steaks, none of them were cooked correctly and worst of all, when we informed them they offered to additionally cook the under cooked but left the overcooked not ready to replace, even though their restaurant's value actually rests on service. Very disappointed and would definitely not recommend it to friends and family
Great steak which was very tender and full of flavour accompanied by delicious Malbec. Good explanation beforehand about what we were about to eat. Very enjoyable evening. Relaxing and good food.
The service was absolutely excellent, our waitress was very attentive. The decor was beautiful and added to the ambience, which was very relaxed. We chose Gauchos for a Friday Brunch as several of my wife's work colleagues had eaten there al la carte. I have to admit our first experience was not great, some of the starters seemed pre-prepared, the beef ribs were cool and tough, the empanadas were also cold. There did not seem to be much of a selection when it came to mains but as Argentina is famous for it's beef we decided to have steaks, unfortunately they were tough and on top of that no steak knives were provided. We noticed a neighbouring table sent her steak back twice and struggled to cut through her third. The price for our 11 year old son also seemed a touch expensive, with no option for a child meals/portions. We would probably go back at some time but not for brunch.
Went for a meal for a birthday. The restaurant organized a special dessert for the birthday girl who was surprised and very happy with her overall experience. The fillet was one of the best I've ever ate and I eat a lot of steak. Would definitely recommend.
over all very good and a nice place -very helpful staff -that seem to get very busy around 10pm
my food was excellent however my friends stake was tough and he did not enjoy it much leaving a third I would say.
T
Great food, very knowledgeable and friendly staff, fun and informative wine tasting event too was a nice added bonus.
excellent place to go for steaks - perfect taste, great staff and nice location
excellent food and service, however very expensive £400 for 4 people and this was only 2 cocktails and 2 glasses of wine and 2 of the people were children
It was EXCELLENT food, service, and atmosphere. I will be going again.
Always good to be in Gaucho to enjoy high premium meat.
The staff were very helpful and the food was AMAZING. We will definitely go back
I thought the food was good, however, it wasn't exceptional for the price. My assumption is if you're paying $400 for 2 people, the steak should be fantastic. Also, no steak knives, they give you the regular knives which I found to be odd for an Argentinian steak house.
Interesting presentation of the meat cuts. Nice place, good service (a bit too slow) and very good food.
The main issue is the exccessive price both for meat and Wine.
This was my second visit , the first was for a business dinner for approx 12 persons, by invitation which was excellent and could not be faulted.
This visit was for lunch and was fine except that we wanted to vary the set menu by ordering a baked potato in lieu of chips/salad which additional cost was AED 75 which was crazy and unnacceptable ! As I was with a Client I was not going to argue but to me most other establishments oblige with changing the set menu at no extra cost !
The rationale for the additional charge needs to be thought through by the management so that the customers dont walk away with ' a bad taste ' and choose alternative venues of which there are plenty !
Excellent meats!
Cool designed space absolutely sub par service. Waitress brought out meat selection prior to asking for drink orders. Then she disappeared. Two wines requested were not available. No less than 3 times I had to get up to find the manager for assistance. For the high price the delivery stank. 9 physician and executive associates disappointed. Manger invited me back for a free drink next time as a token of his concern. Thanks but not ever coming back.
Wife’s birthday
I understand that the restaurant is Argentinian and the meat was very good. But the wines were poor and very expensive and three wines I ordered were not in stock.
Overall, this restaurant is way overpriced.
The experience is awesome overall. Will definitely come back! Thank you for the surprise birthday plate ;)
