Excellent, however unfortunately, very quiet due to the CoronaVirus situation.
Michal was an exceptional waiter and made us feel very welcome! 10/10 service :)
Late booking from myself
Really quite because of the world wide health scare
The staff really nice in fact had a genuine chat with are server, he was from Poland unfortunately I can't remember his name but he made it personal which made are night (Southampton) if you read this thank you.
My steak was personally to my liking, but my other half didnt quite enjoy it and left it, i think it wasnt to her taste/flavour in what it had be cooked in. And I couldn't but my finger on it.
But to see her leave a 300g fillet and to be honest say nothing because shes not like that. But I am and made me really upset and disappointed as I'm making are time together special as she only flys in once or twice a month from the UAE. I'd like to say the wine selection was really good I personally found my choice really good
It's hard for me to say not good stuff about this restaurant but when my girlfriend who travels the world for an airline who goes to the best cities says shes not liking it and leaves a 300g fillet steak. Its horrible as I wanted it to be extra special
Looking forward to your reply
Great experience, very relaxful feel
Exceøøent food, noisy, had to wait even with booking in advance.
We have been regular visitors to Gaucho in the past, and have always enjoyed the experience. We dined here at the weekend as a table of 7. We had booked a table and waited a short while to be seated. Once seated we waited some time for a drinks order to be taken. The cuts of steak were brought out but no recommendations given as to how they should be cooked. Our favourite wine has also been removed from the menu.... gutted!! It was a shame to find the bernaisse sauce was served at room temperature, spoilt the dish for me. We enjoy the experience of Gaucho, but this time we felt a bit let down by the speed of service and attentiveness. We ended up paying £65 per head, and the experience just didn't reflect that.
Some of the best steak we’ve ever had. Sommelier made a phenomenal pairing of a Malbec (naturally), not available in the shops, to go with our food. A tad pricey but almost certainly worth it.
Very nice restaurant. The food is great. Worth a visit if you go to Manchester.
Excellent as always ..................,,,,,,,,,,,
Great set lunch and great service as always!
Highly recommend. Could not fault the customer service.
Superb venue and the food was amazing. Will definately visit again 👍
Steaks are always great and the service from the staff was fantastic.
Best steak meal I've had in ages.great kids menu too. The only thing that ruined it was 12.5% service charge on a quiet Sunday afternoon for a table of 2 adults and 2 children.
Great food, better service.
Me and my boyfriend have been to Gaucho twice, a friend of ours advised that it wasn't as good as others had said but decided to make our own opinion - glad we did!
Both times we've been we've received excellent friendly, personable service and made to feel comfortable and welcome. The steaks have been explained, perfectly cooked and timed perfectly. We'd been well catered for in terms of drinks and any potential deserts.
Great experience and some good memories each time. Will come back again!
A beautiful setting and food to die for. My steak was perfect. Impressed we were shown the cuts of meat before we ordered. Our waiter was the perfect host and nothing was too much trouble. The live music was great.
Will return !
To be fair, the meat served at Gaucho must be the greatest meat ive ever eaten. It was tender, juicy and overall a great food experience. Would recommend the house wine, worked well for our party of 8 with different cuts of meat. The dessert also had high quality, would recommend both the cheesecake and Fondant. We will visit this restaurant on our next trip to Manchester 100%
Steak is delicious.
I would not take Vina Patricia 2008 next time. Would look for younger versions or other wines
We were disappointed with our experience at Gaucho; not because of the food or service, which were very good; moreover it was the clientele which let the restaurant down. Most of who would not have looked out of place in McDonalds. We had to ask to move tables because the two “gentlemen” we were sat near were drunk and their language offensive. The staff seemed powerless to address their “singing” especially when it’s not an inexpensive restaurant to visit. We wouldn’t therefore recommend and we won’t be returning which is a shame as the steak was amazing!
Had a brilliant night, not cheap, but everything great quality, packed restaurant and some cool tunes in the background...made for a buzzy atmosphere
Excellent food and service, great selection of wine, super atmosphere
I went to gaucho’s with my boyfriend for his birthday, the food was amazing and the staff were friendly and helpful
5* all around service and food was amazing Thankyou x
Steaks and main courses excellent and decent value for money. Starter choice average and quite pricey. Ordered the sharing sausage starter, cost £20 for 3 sausages, expected more.
Beautifully cooked steak, great music and vibes 😎
Beautiful restaurant with a steak menu to drool over, preceded by exquisite starters, and fabulous cocktails to boot
Lovely restaurant, but doesn't suit me that much. I'm not a meatlover.
Superb food. Fantastic environment and great service. Best steak I’ve ever had.
Fantastic experience from the moment we entered gaucho until we left. The staff are VERY helpful and made us feel VERY welcome all throughout our fine dining experience.
Absolutely the best steak ever. And prawns that melted in the mouth. Hop House 13 on draught too. Perfect.
Very limited halal options which meant that we couldn’t enjoy the full “Gaucho” experience; this could be made clearer during the booking process potentially? We only had the option to have one item from the menu.
This was a gift for my partner. He loved it and also plenty of choice for myself as I don’t like steak .
Fab sunday lunch! Attentive staff. Will be back shortly...
Great food, fantastic steaks, best around....
Highly recommended for couples or parties!
Service is excellent too!
For the food yes I would recommend Gaucho to a friend, however for the atmosphere and setting I would say there are much nicer places to visit in Manchester.
Great service, great food and great atmosphere,
all in all we had a fabulous night.
Absolutely amazing experience from start to finish. The staff are the most welcoming and respectful I’ve ever witnessed and even one of the hostesses kept me company during my short period being on my own. The food was outstanding, couldn’t have got much better for the whole experience!
Will 100% return
The food was great and came out quickly. Brad the waiter was attentive and all members of staff we friendly and checked in on us.
