Absolutely the best steak ever. And prawns that melted in the mouth. Hop House 13 on draught too. Perfect.
Fantastic experience from the moment we entered gaucho until we left. The staff are VERY helpful and made us feel VERY welcome all throughout our fine dining experience.
Great food, fantastic steaks, best around....
Highly recommended for couples or parties!
Service is excellent too!
Great service, great food and great atmosphere,
all in all we had a fabulous night.
Absolutely amazing experience from start to finish. The staff are the most welcoming and respectful I’ve ever witnessed and even one of the hostesses kept me company during my short period being on my own. The food was outstanding, couldn’t have got much better for the whole experience!
Will 100% return
The food was great and came out quickly. Brad the waiter was attentive and all members of staff we friendly and checked in on us.
Steaks cooked to perfection - the table service was spot on, worth every penny. Highly recommend.
The restaurant is beautiful, the place is very nice. The empanada we ate at the beginning was horrible, but the main course and dessert really delicious. The girl who attended us was very kind and always smiling.
Outstanding service food and ambiance - the staff were friendly-
10/10 would come there again. Excellent service. The service was quick and food delicious
We loved our food and our service was excellent.
The restaurant lacked a little atmosphere but I think that’s Because it was Valentine’s Day.
I had emailed and informed your staff over the phone that it was my daughters 21st but was disappointed with the lack of attention for her .
Worst place ever ever stepped foot in if I was a food critic I'd have you shut down
Really good service (12.5% gratuity automatically added) and high quality food. You won't be disappointed by one of the best steaks in Manchester. Really good side dishes too: personally recommended the sautéed mushrooms and grilled longstem broccoli.
Staff were amazing. Friendly and professional from arrival to leaving.
Food was amazing. Tasted define and presented beautifully.
Valentines meal but overpriced and food wasn’t as value for money as you could get from Miller & Carter. We usually order a chateaubriand and we did at Gaucho yet we paid nearly double what we would usually and we don’t feel like the food was worth double the price. The starter was luke warm and we were the first guests there for lunch so no reason why the food wasn’t hot. The service charge of 12.5% is excessive and not a reflection of the overall service received. I think the service warranted £5-10 tip not £20. Decor and ambience was lovely.
Realised Thursday evening is one of the best time to visit; The live music performance is just perfect for whatever occasion and it covers all genres of music. The food was succulent, the service was amazing and the restaurant was immaculate!
It was a really nice evening in Gaucho, the place is very well presented, the live music was brilliant, the service was great, and the food was really delicious, best place ever
Such an amazing restaurant... I use to work for the sister company CAU before it closed down and have to say Gaucho is far better. Staff were lovely and food was amazing. Steak melted in your mouth. Live music was also great and just the right volume for valentines day meal.
We had an amazing night in Gaucho, celebrating my birthday. The service was outstanding and the steak to die for :-)
I would recommend Gaucho to every steak lover!
The acoustic band was brilliant as well. Lovely atmosphere x
Myself and my son really enjoyed our meal and the drinks we had. I would definitely come back and would recommend to friends. It’s been 1 of the best restaurants Iv been to and the little birthday treat my son received at the end of our meals was so nice just topped our night off
I cannot fault the ambience as it is classy and sophisticated. However, the music was too loud we could not hear ourselves think or talk to each other. We were having to shout. Maybe because it was a Saturday? Not sure since it was my first time. I ordered a medium rare 400g Ribeye Steak and was disappointed as I was given a medium well and it was too chewy for me. I did not bother returning it as I could see the kitchen was very busy. I totally understand as my husband is also a chef. Our server Anna was wonderful and paid attention to our needs. Overall, I don't think the price was worth it £40 for an Argentinian steak with peppercorn sauce. Disappointed.
Was amazing! Travelled from Bristol and best steak I have ever had
Really good experience from start to finish definitely recommend and will definitely return. Thank you to nora who was our waitress she was lovely and very helpful with explaining the menu.
Amazing food, mouth watering steaks. Music with clubbing vibe getting you in the mood for going dancing afterwards. Bit pricey, but great for an occasion.
Third time of dining at Gaucho and we were disappointed given previous high standards. All 3 meals let down by poor cuts, 2 rump and 1 sirloin.
One of the Nicest places in manchester....
Only criticism is the no prawns options on the starter menu...
Friendly staff like you wouldn't believe
Amazing food and very attentive staff, amazing experience.
steak was great as always. mac and cheese was disappointing (lacking seasoning and cheese). everything else was on point
Absolutely love Gaucho!
Food is amazing!
Had the set menu with some extras
Very reasonably priced
Lovely surroundings n decor. Good service and decent food.
Great food let down by staff arguing behind us. Our waitress was amazing however.
Steak was great as always. The waiter was a little rude when asked about the starter.
Beautiful steaks, in a nice room, altough its a little dark upstairs.
Yes , your steak is good but service has suffered over the years , we have been dining at Gaucho for over and I’m sorry it’s not as good an experience as it once was
The most amazing steak I’ve ever had . Fantastic service and beautiful venue .
We had a very enjoyable experience in your restaurant. We live in the North East and do not have a Gaucho restaurant in the area. if visiting Manchester again we will definitely is it again.
Not impressed at all. We have been in before and it was nice and the service was great every time. Unfortunately this time we went (4 of us) 2 weeks ago with friends for my husband 60th birthday celebration. We have to wait 15 min for a drinks. I had to mention to the staff. Food was average and service this same. It was Friday. The table have been booked for 6 ,30 so not excuse. It was very quiet. No candle in my husbands sweet or anything whatsoever. We wont be going again. To many places to choose from in Manchester.
Went on a Thursday and the live performance was perfect! The food was succulent as usual, the atmosphere was vibrant as usual, customer service was excellent. It is just way too good!
We have a party of six people and ordered a steak sampler with four different cuts of beef: rump, tenderloin, rib-eye and sirloin. The food was gorgeous. Will definitely come back.
Excellent food and service, worth to get back at some points
