Having been here in 2009 and enjoying it so much I was always reluctant to go back because I was worried if I had a different experience it would tarnish my unbelievable first visit. I'm so glad I decided to try again because I can say that all the places I've been for food around the world this is my number 1. The staff are friendly and polite, the food is unbelievable and the decoration is perfect.
If I had to pick up on something I'd like gaucho to improve slightly would be the prices and also the toilet facilities were not used friendly.
Thank you for a great time.
Food was excellent , the waiter service was very good .
A great Sunday lunch - food delicious and the staff very friendly and helpful. Will be back!
The steak and veg where very very good the chips we did not eat, but they did deduct them from the bill. The original table we were seated at was much better than the one they moved us to overlooking the kitchen and downstairs dinning. Overall a nice meal and I would go again
Really attentive staff complementing a fantastic menu. Might not be cheap but great value.
Disappointed with table upstairs next to till tucked away
Beautiful food and perfect atmosphere as always. Staff at Gaucho are always friendly and helpful, nothing is ever too much.
We have a really lovely meal at Gaucho Manchester this weekend. The venue is very impressive and the food was excellent. My husband had the set menu which is extremely good value and I had a fillet steak. I’ve already recommended it to family and would recommend to more people.
Beautiful food!! What a lovely evening! Food fantastic and staff could not do enough for us! Will definitely be back!
Amazing, will be recommending to all friends visiting Manchester
Been gaucho multiple times and it never fails to disappoint
Very good steak. Expensive but very good. Got to say side orders expensive and not that great. Chips over cooked carrots must have been £2.50 each at least. Small portions. Very enjoyable evening though.
Fabulous restaurant, always excellent service. Food is amazing, and the staff are very helpful in guiding you to choose the right steak and cooking level for you and the steak. One of my favourites in Manchester. Expensive but worth it for an amazing meal.
it was ok, told after the meal that the Monday BYOB conflicted with the January offer even though I had called and checked 1st? My very nice quality Scallops were quite undercooked so you have that raw translucent bit in the middle but I can live with that as you can't start again with scallops in my experience. The oat topping was very unpleasant both in taste but especially texture, it was easily scraped off. My steak was great but my wife's smaller cut was poor, unevenly cut so could not be cooked correctly. We do not return borderline food as it spoils the entire evening and this mistake could only be fixed by throwing it away which we would not want. We paid for the meal in full but the Chocolate fondant was knocked off the bill as they spotted it was not eaten and raw inside. It is amazing what we will pay for! In Gauchos defence it is more consistent than Hawksmoor and at least you tend to get the steak you ordered!
Waitress great, atmosphere very nice.
Excellent food, service & atmosphere!
Fantastic food ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Yes, the steaks were amazing. The service was friendly and professional from the very start. The service brought out the steak board for us to view and ask questions but most importantly, identify which steak we would like.
The atmosphere was busier than other high dining restaurants and we would have appreciated a quieter corner to chat.
Food and service was excellent, pity about the clientele!
I used to visit gaucho a lot and haven’t been for maybe almost 2 years. The menu had changed (fat chips no longer exist!?) and I feel like their standards had slipped slightly in terms of service and quality. Still a great restaurant, but there are nicer in Manchester now.
Food was amazing and so was everything apart from our waiter christof who spoke to fast and we couldn’t understand what he was saying. Also 12.5% for service is ridiculous on a £200 bill.
We had the best time, food and service.
Thank you again for making our night perfect.
We will be back!!
Amazing I enjoyed the dinner and so did my girlfriend
Me and my girlfriend went for our 5 year anniversary and it was everything we could of asked for and more. Service was amazing and the food was expensive but had the quality to justify it. Definitely would go again
Perfect food and service as always. Absolutely love this place, melt in the mouth steaks.
The food and service was incredible and the decor 10 out of 10.... just a shame there were only a handful of people in the restaurant when we went on Sunday lunchtime. It deserves to be busier!
We got the chateaubriand to share and it was the best steak I have ever eaten. Maria the waitress for very pleasant and would check on us regularly. Only complaint was that we were left in the bar for a while and people arriving after us were getting taken through to the restaurant first. But once we got to our table, no complaints, the meal was outstanding.
All of us thought this was the best food we’ve eaten in years.
The steak was absolutely delicious. Also a good service provided.
Ambience, decor and service was exceptional. Food was great too except for starters which were average. Had steak for my main course which was very good
Amazing food and incredible service, we received complimentary Prosecco for our anniversary which I thought was a nice touch. We will definitely be going back
Lovely food. Excellent waiter tonight too who was not only helpful about the food and drink on offer but also what to do and where to go out afterwards. Fab and would definitely go back
1000% recommend Gaucho to anybody. I had the most amazing time for NYE. The food was incredible and the staff were so polite and made my experience there extremely enjoyable. Thank you so much!
Fantastic service, food and enviroment. Can totally recommend it for others.
Very enjoyable atmosphere and vibe.
Food was really enjoyable!
Background music was lovely and the band was good but too loud for the restaurant, couldn’t hear the staff and ended up shouting across the table to hear, place is beautiful and food is great just a shame that the volume was too high
Lovely food and service from staff. It was quite loud though but it was New Year’s Eve so a heightened volume was to be expected. Food was absolutely delicious and lots of choice! (Even for a vegetarian)
On walking into the restaurant the mood was very relaxing. We was instantly chilled out. There was a live band playing which was amazing but at times we couldn’t even hear the waiter speaking. The food was delicious, we liked how we was showed the meats before we chose. We both had fillet steak with peppercorn sauce. The whole experience was lovely and we would definitely come again. The only downside was that the Peppercorn sauce tasted and looked like gravy
Amazing food, great table & good service! Loved it!
Everything was absolutely perfect, the food was amazing, the staff were lovely
Excellent service, and fabulous food, nothing else to add really
