Lovely meal and service, and lovely place. Chips could do with a bit more love as were a bit soggy. Therfore lost a star on the food front. You need a good chip with your steak as the sides are just as important as the main event (the steak).
Not been to gaucho,s for a good few years decided to treat ourselves as we new lockdown was imminent. . we were greeted and felt very covid safe!! the service was excellent and the food was outstanding, will definitely be visiting once lockdown as eased thank you to all the staff for making us feel safe....
We've been to Gaucho few times, it's our favourite place and once again, this time did not disappoint! Service was OUTSTANDING! We were seated by extremely polite lady (can§t remember her name, but she's blonde and from Czech Republic).
Young gentleman took over when we sat down and was very attentive the whole time we were there. Really enjoyed it, Thank you Gaucho! Wish you all the best and hopefully you will be able to open soon again
Amazing service, lovely food and a great place. I do believe that some things on the menu are overpriced though.
Amazing food on offer. The Fillet steak was perfect however a little over rare for my tastes. Staff were very attentive during the entire stay! We came before the first lockdown, we did this visit before the second lockdown and we will return once we are able to! Best wishes to everyone here.
Went for my daughters 18th birthday celebration. The staff made us all feel really special and food was great. Highly recommend
Food was very good, service was outstanding, felt safe.
Food was amazing. Very good service. Over all had a perfect night.
Amazing service and staff! Would highly recommend !
Lovely food as always! Staff brilliant and very attentive!
The service was great, the meat was really well cooked and desserts were delicious.
The low points were a tasteless sea bass ceviche and the music being a bit too loud. Nevertheless, it was a very enjoyable experience.
It was all a bit rushed to be honest. Steaks are ok, nowhere near great. Sides are ok, packet instant mash surprised me. Cocktails very nice. All in was £240 for 3 adults and 1 child- drinks and mains. No deserts or starters. Gorgeous decor. I don’t think I’d go again. Not a bad experience at all but not really worth it.
Been here several times just perfect food atmosphere service the works
Feel as though the waiters should have poured the wine
Excellent food, excellent service, excellent experience
Fantastic food and service. 10/10! Would recommend to everyone.
The food was really poor. Not what I expected from the hype there is around gaucho.
Outstanding Again.First time we have samples a Sunday roast and believe me it will not be our last.
I would highly recommend Gaucho Manchester, not only is the food amazing but service here is outstanding - the lady that served us was great, I will definitely go back.
Should add more options for chips 🍟 (sweet potato chips or mash potatoes)
Overall our meal was fantastic, the restaurant is beautiful and had a great atmosphere without being too noisy or too quiet. Our waiter Peter was brilliant, attentive and friendly. The menu has great choice but would highly recommend the steaks, lovely selection of sides and sauces.
Food was great will definetly Be back service was excellent
Felt it didn’t live up to the reviews on my visit had to send my food back as it was luke warm and then didn’t end up eating at the same time as my wife. Not a patch on the Hawksmoor.
Great service friendly staff. Great menu choice and amazing wine list
Food was lackluster, service did their best with what they had. Gauchos has really fallen down in the last few years
First time dining at Gaucho and it was for my son’s birthday. The whole experience was amazing! The food was delicious and the service was fabulous and friendly. There was a live singer when we arrived which really added to the ambience. The layout and Covid rules were clear and we didn’t feel compromised at all. It is an expensive dining experience but one I was happy to pay for as it was a treat and we will be returning. Thank you for a wonderful service!
Lovely food, superb cocktails, great service, nice and safe.
Wasn’t told that the water wasn’t free or the bread
Food wasn’t all that great either.
We came for my anniversary and the most they did was cut some strawberries in half and stick two tooth picks in
Amazing as always, absolutely stunning place & outstanding food & service
Great food great location really good vibe about the place love this place steak best ever 400g fillet medium rare perfect only complaint only one draught lager on site need to maybe get more
It was alright the menu needs to be translated to English
Fabulous services as always. But Cheska was exceptional she really went above and beyond to make expensive better. Great service, great food and lovely atmosphere.
5 Star Service and 5 Star Food, highly recommended
A great meal, very attentive service and good choice of steaks.
Lovely staff and the best food! Will definitely come back soon. Thank you for making my birthday special!
nice and friendly service even during Covid times. Venue was not empty but it felt secure all the same. Good size portions.
Fillet steak and sides were good, my children's food was disappointing and they didn’t eat it. The burger just tasted burnt and dry and the chicken was like cardboard. We used to love going here but i wasn’t impressed this time and for what it costs i could go to many other steak restaurants and get better quality food.
Gaucho was busy, which was good to see and they observe government guidelines impeccably, so the family could relax and enjoy the meal. Everyone enjoyed their meal, but the standard seems to have slipped from previous experiences; whether that's because it was so busy, or they've lost/furloughed chefs I don't know. Table service took a while and several items were 'forgotten' until reminded, the wine wasn't decanted either. A good experience, just not Hawsmoor standard
Seated at the top of a spiral staircase which wasn't too bad, aside from being right below a speaker and they had a duo playing live. They couldn't turn it down.
The waiter was overly attentive. You couldn't take a sip of wine, try your starter or start on the main before he was over asking if everything was ok, could he top us up, did we want desert? Sometimes less IS more.
Only negative was they automatically added 12.5% gratuity to the bill. I don't agree with automatic gratuity, especially when not verbally communicated prior to the bill landed on the table.
Sons 21st birthday, setting was lovely, took quite a while to be served, although staff were lovely but busy.
Got the 500g of steak, was very fatty had to cut lots off. Would have liked the server to talk about the meat choices
Starter carpaccio was excellent.
