Gaucho Manchester is a converted church in the centre of Deansgate is the city’s home for impeccable Argentinian steaks, Latin flavours and premium wines.

As you dine, enjoy the theatre of our open kitchen and marvel at the church’s original organ, a stunning feature that is at the centre of our split level dining room. During the week it’s the place to be for lunches and celebratory dinners and at the weekend becomes a social melting pot with DJ hosted brunches, a bustling cocktail bar and a legendary relaxation spot for Sunday lunch.

    We had the best steak ever, the service was second to none and great cocktails too. The only comment I would make is that the music was a bit too loud and energetic whilst eating and chatting.

    We had the Unlimited Sunday Roast and was blown away with the quantity and quality. The additional Bone Marrow added to the fabulous taste of the beef. My partner was very hungry after a morning's shopping and was so very impressed. We'll definitely be back with friends

    When you first walk in it’s very nice , whilst waiting for your table there’s loads of seating for you to have a drink which I really liked. The staff are extremely lovely and very friendly. Bar staff were so professional all staff treated you like you mattered. Our waiter was one of the best waiters I’ve ever had. However the food was not worth the money at all. The sauce that came with our steak was stone cold. The steak was very stringy and chewy, as a steakhouse that charges this kind of money for a steak the steaks should be the best. Mac and cheese side was not Mac and cheese it was the driest thing I’d ever eaten. The chips well they were the worst chips I had ever eaten. The restaurant itself was nice however we got sat at the table right by the door which was very cold, think we were given the worst table. The feel of it was nice it was like a night club however the music was wayyyy too loud to the point I couldn’t hear the staff talking to me or hear my partner speaking to us. The music should be turned down a little bit. Also charge a discretionary service, if I wanted to tip I would. Charge for water which is most likely tap water. Besides the staff being so good, I wouldn’t visit again and wouldn’t recommend due to it being so expensive for standard food.

    The service was great, the waiting staff added a personal touch to their work and made the night more humorous. The food tasted amazing and the portions were large enough to fill you up also. The security even came in to help me find the toilets, simply because he could see I couldn’t spot them. Overall a top experience and will definitely be dining at gaucho again.

    My meal was cold, I sent it back. Sadly the second steak was tough, fatty and sinewy. I struggled to cut it with my knife. Had to send that back too. Manager and staff were very helpful and apologised, it wasn't their fault.

    Been before and will always come again- amazing food- amazing service. Our waitress Annie was so so lovely, we went to celebrate finishing uni and they bought a congratulations plate over which was so lovely.

    From entering the restaurant we were greeted with a smile and superb customer service. The bar created a drink for me that wasn't on the menu, which was superb and the food was outstanding. By far the best fillet steak I have had in years! Superb all round 11 out of 10! Thank you

    The food was very poor, steaks over cooked no flavour, starters were nice. Wine wasn’t the same vintage as what was on the menu, nothing mentioned when it was brought to the table until I said something. Service was ok when the waiter was present seemed to be too many tables to one person. Cocktails were nice. Wouldn’t go again was very disappointed

    The service and food is always exceptional at Gaucho - I have been there several times, and its great for a special occasion, or just if you fancy a treat. The staff are very attentive and knowledgeable about the food and wine list, and make excellent recommendations.

    I have to say that this was my first visit recommended by my Daughter and wowww , from the moment I walked in it was such a beautiful ambience. We had a few cocktails at the bar and ‘Eden’ was an amazing bar tender the cocktails were to die for!! Thank you Eden we will be back again!! I was then taken through to the restaurant which was breathtaking , it is a beautiful building and really is a great place to dine! We were catered to and our waitress (sorry I forgot her name but she was Colombian, must have been all those cocktails) she was very attentive and courteous. The food well, where do I start, the best steak I’ve eaten, the Chimichurri sauce was unbelievable!! Thank you so much it was a fabulous dinner Ning experience this will be a regular spot for us most definitely 🖤🙏🏽
