Everything was perfect, except the aircondition was too cold and blowing
Fantastic beat gaucho I've been too in a long time will definitely go again
Had my anniversary meal there Saturday night great service and quality food highly recommend
Overrated steak restaurant. The service is meant to be bespoken, but the truth is that they pretend a lot, but really lack the basic manners of serving. The food is good, but not extraordinary. Don’t get me wrong, the steaks are top notch, but everything else, including side dishes, are average. Overall, quite pricey for what you get.
As always, the service food and wine at Gaucho was amazing!
Fantastic meal and great service - nothing is too much trouble
Staff were amazing and very helpful (especially V). Great food.
Not my first time to a Gauchos and will not be the last, Birthday present for my Daughter-in-law to be, she could not have been more pleased
Love the service from this Gaucho location. Especially all the staff who treated my 1.5yr old son so well and friendly. That’s mean a lot to have a good dining experience. Of course the meat is so good! We ordered the Churrasco de Lomo 500gram and some sides. Love to spot Malbec on the winelist too!
Truly excellent beef, perfectly cooked - a great advertisement for Argentina
Our waiter was very knowledgeable about the food and the wine. He made us feel so special and nothing was too much trouble for the restaurant. Excellent service.
Had a good meal with family we had not seen in a while
Mad ting mad ting mad ting Mad ting mad ting mad ting Mad ting mad ting mad ting Mad ting mad ting mad ting
Very impressive and professional service. The staff were attentive without being overbearing. The food was fantastic. Well worth the money. Look out for the ‘pre- and post- theatre menu’.
My experience at Gaucho was terrible! I am a very pickey eater so i checked the menu before hand and found something i liked before i booked, but thats not the first problem! After we had been seated an given our drinks the guy came round with the meat board i told him i dont eat meat so he took it away (mind you there are 3 people on the table) he didnt even ask them or let them look as if they didnt matter, then came ordering this was the main problem..when the waiter came over to take our order i told him i didnt like the two fish mains and he shrugged his shoulders, he didnt even try to suggest anything or talk to his manager and see what they can do, when i bought up the mains i saw online he said the menu had been changed 4 months ago....thats ridiculous! He then just stood there an looked at me, he was extremely unhelpful and didnt care, i would have spoke to the manager but i felt like they wouldn't have cared either so i didnt bother We paid for our drinks and left! This experience has tainted my view of Gaucho and i doubt i will go back...ever!
Although I appreciate its good quality of food and service, I still believe it is overpriced!
Was made to smoke outside their terrace.
Smoking areas should be made clear!
The food could not be faulted and is always of high quality. As we visited at 5pm as a pre-theatre meal, the restaurant was very quiet, however despite a number of visible staff members, service felt to be slow, Particularly at the end of the meal as we needed to move on to the theatre.
As visa systems crashed during this time, the card machine was unable to accept my friends payment card. The server tried several times, then brought the manager to the table to try and take payment.
The manner of both staff members was rude and abrupt. They were disinterested when my friend attempted to show that he did in fact have money in his bank account and that the issue was not with his card. The primary interest was with taking payment with little concern for customer care. As this exchange took place in front of other guests without much cause for discretion, it became a humiliating experience which removed our enjoyment from the meal. I had to pay his portion of the meal using a different card type.
While I appreciate on this occasion neither member of staff were aware with the issues involving visa transactions, every store we passed following the meal had signs clearly advising they were only able to take cash payments.
We had a meal here for our 10th Wedding Anniversary. Amazing food, great service as the staff where amazing. Superb restaurant.
We walked in off the street and were welcomed into the restaurant. Service was great and food was even better. Service was attentive and overall it was the best meal we had in London that week. So much so that we rang our daughter and her friend who came and enjoyed their evening.
Very friendly staff
Starters first: the Tuna Ceviche was amazing (best we've ever tasted), as was the salt beef.
Mains: we would without hesitation recommend the octopus and the marinated lomo (fillet)
Wines: a superb Catena Chardonnay not on the wine list (a library wine) and a very fine Pinot Noir from Patagonia.
Service was excellent - by both the sommelier and Guillermo
Very lovely and charming waiter, food was delicious, best mai tai by far definitely a restaurant we will return to
The food was good nice ambience
Overall lovely afternoon/evening celebrating my partners birthday. Great food and service, we didn’t want our time spent there to end! Amazing cocktails and lovely birthday touch at the end ! Can’t wait to return again soon
We had a very enjoyable birthday Sunday lunch. Excellent food and service and Happy Birthday treat at the end. Would definitely go again and recommend to friends and family
Best food and absolutely great atmosphere! The staff is well trained and very friendly! Would strongly recommend!
Steaks well cooked but not grilled enough...ambiance was fine. Regards.
Best Service and Steak so far in London.
Took son daughter to gaucho for his 18th as he loves a steak, absolutely beautiful interior and service is excellent, son like it when they came out with board of the different cuts of meat to choose for his steak. Said best steak he has ever had, plus my daughter can’t eat steak so she had chicken which she said delicious, if like steak and beautiful interior I highly recommend gaucho.
We were celebrating my dads retirement and a friends birthday. Great meal, service fantastic would definitely returned. Steaks to die for.
We had a great food and outstanding service for a special birthday celebration - excellent
Very good food but ashamed i was questioned for ID after being offerend the wine menu. I wouldn’t have thought i needed my ID at a place like gaucho. Apart from that food was excellent.
The quality of the food is great, best steak in London. Good wine options and delicious cocktails. Service very good and friendly. Looking forward to the next time!
Verry good nothing to worry about the best meal I have ever had.
The chato Brian is so good
We had a great time enjoying the best of empanadas and asado beef ever. Dessert was also a treat. Excellent service. Thumbs up.
The drinks arrived after 35 minutes from ordering?
Great steaks, not too bad cocktails, great wines, and the service was outstanding!
Excellent food and service. We had a few cocktails in the bar before hand and they were extremely good also. Not just the steaks but i also had the chicken livers to start. I would highly recommend them.
Excellent service, excellent food, couldn’t ask for a better place to celebrate our 20th anniversary!
