Gaucho Piccadilly
Piccadilly is our flagship restaurant, set in a beautiful townhouse just off Regent Street, encompassing the ultimate Gaucho experience in the West End. Impeccable Argentinian steaks, flavours of Latin America and a perfectly curated drinks list are all enjoyed in uncompromised elegance in the former home of a Spanish Ambassador.
This impressive restaurant boasts a variety of unique spaces that soar over three stories. At ground level, you have our warm and welcoming dining room with adjoining weather-proof terrace. As you ascend the original sweeping staircase, you’ll find another dining space with a spectacular open kitchen, where we host our legendary Electro brunch, as well as a myriad of gorgeous private rooms – one inspired by our former Spanish resident.

Last meal out before quarantine. Everything was perfect 10/10
Gaucho is one of my favourite restaurants worldwide. It’s great!
Steak was amazing but reduced the score due to the entire experience. Starters and desserts are very limited. They have an fantastic wine selection but the markup of over 400% is extreme. We had one lower end bottle of wine and one aparetif each one starter and no desserts. For two people This came to £200 which whilst lovely was not worth this amount.
The waitress did not speak English and got the order wrong bad day when she doesn’t understand bottle of house white wine or a pint of draft Guinness much better service on previous ocassions
I had my birthday meal here the other day, the people on the welcome desk weren’t exactly the most welcoming, I asked the lady behind the bar for the cocktail menu she said it’s the green one however it was so dark in there I couldn’t actually make out if it was green or black so she was smarmy in replying that’s the green one. Ordered our drinks I don’t think she smiled once! We went to our table and our waiter was really helpful and nice the food we had was faultless, however when it came to dessert and I didn’t actually want one my husband ordered his, it came out with happy birthday written and given to me and the waiter said from us to you, I thought very nice as places like these do tend to do little treats when celebrating however it was strange as I new it was the same dessert my husband had ordered so we waited a little bit thinking maybe they’ll bring another I said to him you eat it either way as I new he could manage 2 if another was to show however it didn’t. I just find it odd they used my husbands dessert to wish me a happy birthday usually they just have small little bite pieces with a message provided for individuals not having an actual pudding! It was also on the bill so nothing about this dessert was for me from them as 1. It was my husbands and 2. We paid for it. Can’t fault the food as I said but this did let it down as we sat there confused wondering whether it was mine or his!?
Had a birthday dinner with some friends, and we had a great time. The food was excellent, the wine outstanding and all in all this was a very pleasant experience. Thank you so much!
A lovely ambience with great food and good service. my daughter thoughly enjoyed her birthday treat. Mike
The chateaubriand (to share) is always an amazing treat!
It really was a lovely treat for our friend’s birthday. Attentive staff with great knowledge of the various cuts of steak. Food was delicious, we’ll definitely be back.
First we were send upstairs by a very rude lady at the front desk. On the second floor another lady told us that our table is not ready jet and we had to wait standing in the middle of the room. The first table we had was way to noisy. The manager took over and send us downstairs again to a more quiet table. The rest of the stay was good
Everything, except the hostess, was very good. Can you please teach them how to speak in English and the fact they have fillers in their lips doesn’t make them queens. I eat in this restaurant because of the service, London is massive, the food is good in many other places ((; shoutout to the cute waitress with the long black curly hair!!!
The atmosphere in there is really coo, and the food was lovely!
The staff were also very attentive
I was a Very friendly environment. The stuff gave us a warm welcome and couldn’t help us out enough the little things are the best like the bread to the table as round nice experience
Lovely food and attentive staff very buzzy atmosphere. The only criticism is the very dark decor which detracted from the overall experience.
Oh dear. This used to be my favourite steak house chain And had not been for a number of years. On arrival we were 20 mins early and the desk attendance looked as though we were stupid. I had to ask if we could sit in the bar at which point they looked at each other as though they couldn’t decide before pointing upwards. We had drink last and were eventually seated on the upstairs level. Because the music was so loud we had to ask if it could be turned down as we could not hear ourselves speak. While we waited a couple were seated either side of us. Time went by and no food was forthcoming. After about 30 mins both the couples around us had received their food. Eventually a waiter came passed and said the food would not be long. Then it arrived and we were shocked to find everything cold. I immediately called a waiter who took the food away and we waited about another 20 minutes we eventually got our food but we’d already decided that The Gaucho has definitely gone down hill. In the restaurant’s defence I can say they made a sizeable refund on the bill, but this was my wife’s birthday meal and it just soured the evening. I can’t say if the other Gauchos are the same, i used to enjoy regular meals at Canary Wharf and London Bridge which were excellent and I hope it’s just this outlet. I’d recommend trying the others first. Probably won’t be back now, there our other places and at these prices the quality needs to be better.
Always a favourite due to consistent high standards.
My party and I was seated right by the door (even though the restaurant wasn't busy) and this didn't make for a great dining experience.
Amazing food, great atmosphere and friendly service
The good East vere very poor quality I have eaten many times before this time meat quality was terrible l might not eaten in Gaucho again
Not up to previous experience. Food okay. Service fine.
This is a great restaurant with a really nice ambience and service to match. If you like steak this is as good as it gets
Always exceptional service at Gaucho, steak board offered every time to see the options of steaks available. Beautiful food and plenty of drink options, the service from the staff is always great, I have been quite a few times and I have never been disappointed.
Experience was very nice, the waiter and restaurant was nice. My steak was extremely tough to cut through, though. Particularly the fatty part of it. I ordered mine rare so I anticipated a bit of chewyness but I had an indent on my finger from where I pressed the knife so hard to cut the steak. Only downfall from an otherwise lovely experience.
Waiter gave me and my date a glass of prosecco for free to end the evening which was a wonderful surprise.
The food was good and the ambience was delightful. What let this place down was the level of noise and background music which made it quite challenging to have a conversation.
The steak was fantastic. The veg was nice but a little too salty, and I like a lot of salt. The service charge was £18.50. We didn't pay that, as it wasn't warranted, paid 10% instead.
The restaurant is very dark.
It’s a lovely place...wasn’t blown away by the steak but still a nice atmosphere and lovely staff.
Maybe I didn’t read the small print but didn’t expect a 15% service charge.
Fabulous service , ambiance and great food loved it will be back
The food overall was very good, but the service was extremely lacking. I waited 10 minutes to get water and for a waiter to come over, yet the tables who sat down after me were getting waited on while I was waiting for my water. While eating my entrée no one came over to ask if it was okay, even though the manager was coming around asking other tables if their food was okay. After eating my entrée I had empty plates sitting in front of me for another 10 minutes. Again the food was very good, but the service was VERY disappointing and made me feel unimportant compared to other tables that had bigger parties.
Food always great.
Food and service were good/very good, people working there are very polite indeed. I had a steak which was just ok what was a little disappointing was the provision of an ordinary knife not a steak knife.
How did you know it was my birthday?! Such a good evening, thank you very much!!
Lovely meal and very helpful service. Would suggest they review the starters on the set menu though as none of our party liked any.
There was an unruly/drunk table of 4 guys next to us. Management did nothing. After having gone there for business numerous times through the years - I will never go back.
table was ready when we arrived, food was absolutely delicious the waiter was knowledgeable and really helpful. I had a cocktail that i asked for which wasn’t on the menu, it’s just one I like and they happily made it for me. the only issue was the table was so dark i had to use the light on my phone to see the menu, and the screechy loud woman two tables away from me who moaned the entire time! but the food was worth having to hear her!!
It took to long to get a table then took a long time to be served
Amazing food, best steak I have eaten in London. 10/10 would return! Amazing staff and customers made to feel extremely welcome! Overall great restaurant, worth every penny! Made our last night in London very special!
Main dish was not that much delicious as expected.
We had the set opentable menu which included a glass of wine & an excellent sirloin steak. Service was prompt but not intrusive.
The meat was cooked perfectly. The service was good, nice decoration.
The only thing we didnt enjoy was the noise, a bit noisy.
Would definitely recommend this restaurant
Amazing as always. Beautiful steak, great atmosphere
