Everything from start to finish was amazing. Reserved a table to celebrate a bday and a promotion, and the service we received was outstanding from the moment we walked in . Food is incredible, the special instructions I had left regarding having a bottle of Champagne ready at the table were taken on board and prepared for. Waitress looking after us that evening was very friendly, patient and vigilant of our glasses and if they needed a top up, without interrupting conversation etc.
Would highly and very likely to go again.

The only thing I would say was that the bottle of Champagne prepared for us ended up being the Brut black label (which was amazing) but automatically £130 of the bill . The bottle I had in mind was the yellow label bottle. I cannot hold this against the Restaurant but it was a bit of a shock at the end . Not enough to spoil the evening in any way but just a bit surprising .

We made the reservation for the 1 st floor. At arriving we were send to a table on the ground floor. Asking why we werd told that the 1 st floor is closed. Sorry but ground floor and 1 st floor is not the same experience. I would never book ground floor. Then we had to sit on a much to small table for 7 persons.
Really not exciting and not a good memory at gaucho picadilly.

We had booked as on previous visits we had the Sunday roast. On this visit the Sunday roast wasn't shown on the menu. We asked and were told it was available and there should have been a menu for it in the folder. The service seem very rushed when ordering but actually getting our drinks took a long time

Having been a to Gauchos on numerous occasions but this time it didn’t live up to my previous experiences.
On request for a wine recommendation all choices given was for wines over £150 despite having over 300 on their list, this without asking if there is a budget for it!
The food was not the previous high standard, when ordering the dessert Don Pedro it was served with the walnuts missing and no comment on it until I mentioned it, saying that today’s walnuts were of a substandard quality hence they been omitted.
Overall not a n experience to go back for.

As a carnivore, Gaucho is one of my favourite restaurants and the Piccadilly venue has plenty of outdoor seating for sunny days like yesterday. We went for the 2 course set menu which has enough choice for lunch. The food was its usual good quality. The music outside was unfamiliar and a little too loud but apart from that, a thoroughly enjoyable lunch.

Loved all of it. Also I want to thank the staff of the restaurant as they added a Happy Anniversary detail in the dish of the dessert 🥰😍🙌🏼

Been here many times.

Good overall. Meat as ever was great, but the chips were ‘old’ they weren’t freshly made. This made them luke warm and rubbery. I didn’t finish mine, a first for me.

£150 for 2 people who only had one course, beers and a glass of wine is very expensive.

We arrived 15 minutes early and were asked to have a drink in the bar, shown to a table by the lady on reception, the drink wasn't an issue at all but we were then forgotten about and 5 minutes after our time slot I returned to check in and she had no knowledge of ever speaking to me which I found quite rude. There were a table of 10 in the bar at the same time and they were collected and shown to their tables.

The food was lovely but the service was all over the place with staff visibly getting stroppy with each other. It was a long wait before someone took our food order (it wasn't a busy period). None of the waitresses seemed to know what table number we were and paused and asked a waiter each time food was brought to the table.

All in all food was very nice but not sure I've received service so poor before.

Unfortunately we did not experience the level of customer service you'd expect from Gaucho.
Falsely advertising a Sunday menu online that the restaurant did not honour. Waiter and reception staff cold and disinterested.
Sent feedback directly to the restaurant days ago and yet to receive a response.

I was very underwhelmed with my experience at your restaurant last Friday night for my friends birthday. I have eaten at your Piccadilly branch before and the whole experience was a lot more pleasant the first time.

Our server was very disinterested in us from the beginning and rushed through explaining the steaks to us when bringing them out on the tray. Not what I am used too.

I ordered the 300g fillet and when the orders were brought to the table to server tried to give me a 300g ribeye. When I told them it wasn't mine they proceeded to ask me if I was sure...of course I was sure. I wouldn't of said it otherwise.

There was no apology from the waitress regarding the mistake, just checking receipts within view of our table.

After a 15 minute wait, once everyone on my table had finished, my steak was brought out. I could tell the steak had not been rested as it was still blazing hot.

After another 15 minutes had passed the waitress came over with a round of beers which she said "were on the house for my mistake".

When the bill came the drinks were on the bill and 12.5% service charge included.

There was a discount on the bottom of the receipt for £22, the round of drinks with service charge was nearly £40. So not only did she get my order wrong, make me have to eat on my own, ruin the vibe of my friends birthday, she then tried to profit off of her mistake.

Overall only 1 person was impressed with their meal. Out of 6.

I emailed head office in an attempt to get an apology but surprise surprise no one responded!

Great customer service all around.

Extremely over priced and mediocre with bad attitude. It was all about the up-sell. We waited 40mins for our table so they could make sure we were seated 2mins after 7, so couldn't order from the set menu. When I asked if we could be seated, the response was curt at best. Waiter was very pushy about ordering a more expensive wine, which they didn't have and our original choice was very enjoyable. Steak was excellent but the burger was small, cheap and mush-like. Chips cooked in old oil, unpleasant. £100 for a one course meal with wine. Then 12.5% service on top, what service? Don't recommend, much better choices for the money.

Took my Dad there for Father’s Day, he is my favorite person so I took him to my favorite place. I’ve been many times to this place and always leave full and happy with the meal. We started with the nicely prepared BURRATA , then dad enjoyed his CHURRASCO DE LOMO and I had RIBEYE steak. All in all was great.

Thanks for leaving us this lovely review from your recent experience with us here at Gaucho Piccadilly. I must commend you on your choices of burrata to start - which is one of my favourite starters, and your choice in the super succulent churrasco de lomo and intensely flavoured ribeye - 2 of my favourite steaks! We look forward to welcoming you back to try some more of our beautiful free range organic beef that comes from La Pampa, Argentina.
