Piccadilly is our flagship restaurant, set in a beautiful townhouse just off Regent Street, encompassing the ultimate Gaucho experience in the West End. Impeccable Argentinian steaks, flavours of Latin America and a perfectly curated drinks list are all enjoyed in uncompromised elegance in the former home of a Spanish Ambassador.
This impressive restaurant boasts a variety of unique spaces that soar over three stories. At ground level, you have our warm and welcoming dining room with adjoining weather-proof terrace. As you ascend the original sweeping staircase, you’ll find another dining space with a spectacular open kitchen, where we host our legendary Electro brunch, as well as a myriad of gorgeous private rooms – one inspired by our former Spanish resident.
Had a fantastic meal again at Gaucho Piccadilly. Staff were attentive and efficient; starters, mains and desserts were all excellent in terms of taste and presentation and just what we needed before heading off to a concert.
Gaucho Piccadilly is one of the best Gaucho's in London because of their outdoor seating area. Fantastic service and fabulous decor.
Enjoyed the steaks. Cooked to perfection. Good wine selection, have to choose Argentine in an Argentine restaurant.
Took my Dad there for Father’s Day, he is my favorite person so I took him to my favorite place. I’ve been many times to this place and always leave full and happy with the meal. We started with the nicely prepared BURRATA , then dad enjoyed his CHURRASCO DE LOMO and I had RIBEYE steak. All in all was great.
Steak not up to scratch at all. Don’t waste your money and go to hawksmoor instead
The food was amazing, especially the chorizo steak. Service was also excellent and was very apologetic when there was a mix up in the kitchen.
Thank you very much for your awesome feedback on our super service and our beautiful Aberdeen Angus beef that comes from La Pampa, Argentina. The team here at Gaucho Piccadilly look forward to welcoming you back in the near future to have some more of our amazing steak. We now have a 1kg on the bone Galician Ribeye that is rather divine, come back to try it for yourself!
The steak was so over cooked. Chewing through the meal was a workout for my jaw! Service was incredibly slow too. Overall disappointing. Not what I’d expect at that price point
Thanks for your review and providing us with this feedback for us to use constructively and move forward as a business. On behalf of the restaurant, I do apologise that your experience wasn't to the standard that we are renowned for. Ask for me - Will when you're next in and I'm sure you'll have a very different experience as I know the perfect cooking temperature for every steak. I guarantee you'll have a lovely meal.
Really good meal ! The waiter was really advices !
Fantastic restaurant. It came highly recommended to me so I decided to book here for my wife’s birthday and it did not disappoint. The building itself is fantastic and really adds to the atmosphere. The staff were great and the food was the best we have tasted in any restaurant. Yes it is expensive but you are paying for absolute quality and that’s what you get. Any steak lover I cannot recommend this restaurant enough.
Waiter helped my girlfriend look through the humongous wine menu for what felt like almost an hour. Looked for him when we were leaving so I could tip him but I couldn’t see him anywhere. Great service, great good, great night!
Absolutely the best steak I’ve ever had from a restaurant, I couldn’t finish it but I wish I had to room eat every last morsel. Other than the music being loud it was a very enjoyable and tasty evening and I would love to go again!
Thank you for your kinds words. Our team here at Gaucho Piccadilly are very happy to see such a raving review on our steaks. Smiles are on all of our faces reading this review together! We do offer a fantastic 3-course set menu for £26 per person that is available everyday from 12pm-7pm, I'd definitely suggest to try it next time you join us. Look forward to welcoming you back soon.
Had the best night at Gaucho, food was amazing !! Can’t wait to go again !
Though the dining room was empty the hostess chose to seat us in front of the kitchen door. When I complained she offered the table next to the door. I was about to leave when we were seated on a quiet corner. It is noteworthy that original table was still empty as we left. Not a thank you or goodnight from the hostess as we left.
A very nice venue, good ambience with excellent service. I requested a booth when I booked and was pleased to see that they took note and provided us with one.
I knew the restaurant was on the expensive side when I booked and this is the only negative. We were a party of four and had a selection of their steaks and they were all around £50.00 each, before you add any sides. If a selection of sides had been included I would be tempted to give it 5 stars, as the food was faultless.
Another bonus was the sommelier who recommended a very nice wine at a good price point.
As soon as we walked into Guacho Piccadilly the staff where very attentive and helpful. The food arrived in perfect timing and there were no faults with the service and standards of my entire experience. It is a place that I continue to visit without fault !
Fantastic food, service and ambiance! Would definitely recommend.
Precioso restaurante de moda. Buena comida. Servicio perfecto, fueron muy amables. El precio no está mal, aunque es elevando, pero si pides vino se dispara. La terraza espectacular. Vale la pena ir si te lo puedes permitir.
Great service and restaurant lovely but very disappointed with the burger. We have eaten at Gauchos many times but the burger tonight was seriously well done! I wanted medium rare but they said we could only have well done! Not good no succulence at all - will think twice before booking at Gauchos again.
Our first time at the Gaucho, Service excellent, staff very attentive, food delicious it’s not very often I get a steak cooked so well as I prefer it well done.
Just one small thing, I found it too dark, the lighting was a little low as we had to use the torch on our phones to read the menu.
On the whole it was a lovely experience.
Thanks for letting us know you had a great experience with us at Gaucho Piccadilly. We've just launched our new on Monday 3rd June which is full of vibrant colours and exciting flavours! We look forward to welcoming you back to be able to try it all. Perhaps try dining on our terrace during sunset this summer and enjoy the natural light til late.
Excellent food. Attentive service. Nice place but al fresco dining a little noisy at times. All-in-all, very nice - if a little expensive....
I came here with my mother for dinner to celebrate her birthday before we went off to the theatre.
I had notified the restaurant in advance that it was her birthday and they asked for her name so they could write a Happy Birthday message on the plate of whichever dessert she ordered.
When we arrived at the restaurant they took the name of the booking, briefly glanced at the booking on the computer and upon seeing the note, said Happy Birthday to my mother. She wasn't expecting this and was very pleased.
The main courses we had were absolutely divine and there was not one thing either of us would have changed about either dish - aubergine and chicken dishes.
As planned, when they brought out her dessert it had the birthday message and it had a candle on it. What took even me by surprise was that they also brought out two glasses of champagne - one for each of us - and said it was on the house. This was a delightful surprise and my mother was absolutely chuffed at all of the special treatment she received.
The service and food were both faultless - my only niggle is that it was very dark (despite being broad daylight outside) and my mother had to use the torch on her phone to view the menu, as did the tables on either side of us.
Very very nice place !
the dishes are very good. the server very friendly.
I love Gaucho and have been may times, my only gripe is the price of the side dishes they are way too expensive especially chips.
The Waiting staff each had too many tables to look after so the service was cursory.
The decor allows noise to bounce around so that those with any type of defective hearing at all found it hard to concentrate on a conversation. Even with hearing aids!
The chefs definition of Medium Rare was to serve it Rare! To be blunt this was pointed out and a complimentary half bottle of fizz was provided. BUT this should have been taken care of by new steaks?
Lastly a 12.5% mandatory tip (£50) on a £400 bill is somewhat excessive even for London!
Going back ? NOPE!!
I ordered a medium ribeye then they gave me a well down one...
Very busy Friday evening , we ordered a bottle dry white wine and we were sent red in error - red was returned with a different bottle of white provided ( not the bottle originally ordered ) . Food not as good as last time ,
Fantastic experience. Food incredible. Staff very attentive and friendly. Will return
Family night out
Very disappointing that all the best extras on the menu seem to be disappearing one by one! No olive oil drizzle with the bread now, no fat chips and now no mushroom sauce - once my favourite place to eat but now becoming more of a “get what your given” restaurant rather than one of a wide variety and choice. Shame but service as good as ever which was excellent.
Service and food were great as usual, every time it’s a new experience
I made our original reservation to celebrate my partner's 40th birthday dinner. Francesco our waiter was very personable, friendly, and very knowledgeable with his recommendations throughout our dining experience.
Our overall experience was so wonderful that we returned on June 5th for another celebratory dinner.
Fantastic 10th Anniversary meal. Delicious steak and amazing potato purée! Complimentary glass of champagne too! Can’t wait to go back soon
Would recommend this place! Really good food and service. the cocktails were amazing
Fine place to eat a good meal
Friendly staff and delicious food. Very noisy so found it hard to hear the waiter when asking for advice. Steaks were fantastic as was all the food ordered. Wine list pricey.
Staff were brilliant. They were knowledgeable, accommodating and friendly.
We asked to move table as we were positioned very close to another 2 seater, which we be my only criticism. 2 seater tables should be given move space between them.
Food was brilliant (though chips were a bit salty and the asparagus was slightly bland, other than that perfect).
They’ve changed the menu and eliminated many of my favorites...bring back the roasted cauliflower please!! It also seemed less busy for a Saturday night...
Steak was undercooked 3 times , waiter had a bad attitude
The best place for quality steaks in London. Never think of going anywhere else.
