Piccadilly is our flagship restaurant, set in a beautiful townhouse just off Regent Street, encompassing the ultimate Gaucho experience in the West End. Impeccable Argentinian steaks, flavours of Latin America and a perfectly curated drinks list are all enjoyed in uncompromised elegance in the former home of a Spanish Ambassador.
This impressive restaurant boasts a variety of unique spaces that soar over three stories. At ground level, you have our warm and welcoming dining room with adjoining weather-proof terrace. As you ascend the original sweeping staircase, you’ll find another dining space with a spectacular open kitchen, where we host our legendary Electro brunch, as well as a myriad of gorgeous private rooms – one inspired by our former Spanish resident.

Thought it was decent. Steaks very good.
A great experience as it was for our son’s 21st birthday, very pleased with the setting and the service and food was amazing.Having experienced this we will definitely be revisiting the restaurant again.
Great quality of meat, however plates were over seasoned. Service was ok but not great. Really good wine.
Always great food and wine and a great ambiance never had a bad experience
Good value set menu and excellent ambience. Most wine prices on the high side and house malbec red not impressive. Salad accompaniment to steak could be more imaginative than just dressed leaves.
We went for the set lunch. We ordered rump well done and asked for steak to be butterflied, chef cooked the thin steaks to medium and the thick steaks to well done? No butterfly on the steak, these things combined meant my steak was really tough and chewy, burnt on the outside and still medium on the inside. Very disappointed. Didn’t have time to complain as we were on strict timetable for the theatre.
Exceptional food and great service - the team always remember us and welcome us back
The service was not good and the food moderate. The environment is good.
Good food reasonably priced.
Service a little non personable.
For the people in our team who have never been to Gaucho it was an excellent evening :)
Steaks are just sublime. And the chimichurri topping for steak is delicious.
The Waite staff are very helpful and polite! The door man at the front a complete gentlemen. However those working at the desk were rude and arrogant. They look right past me on serval occasions and served others before me. Blunt and monotone voice like they didn’t care to be there. And basically had to shout for attention which isn’t ok
also what’s the point of putting down “birthday as a special occasion” if they don’t attempt to do anything about. It was Pau the bill and leave :/
Did not have a good experience, so will not be coming back. The food was very unimpressive (especially considering the price) - we were recommended the Churrasco steaks and all of them came overdone and dry. Even the potato chips were very very overcooked, very disappointing for a restaurant of this level.
First time visit to Gaucho. Had a lovely time. Food and service was spot on.😁
Amazing meat!!! But the rest was not too impressive.. the waiter was nice, but everything seems a bit stressed and had to go in a way to quick pace..
The ladies in the reception needs to learn a trick or five about good customer service.. they are the first thing you meet and therefor becomes the “faces” of the restaurant and you need to feel welcomed and wanted as a customer, which I’m not sure I felt..
We were asked to move tables during our meal so they could accommodate a large party of 10 people. We were not happy about moving tables but felt under pressure- we had already started our appetisers and drinks, and asked nicely if we could keep our existing table as didn’t want the upheaval. The staff dragged chairs and tables from around us to make one long table beside us for the large party. The whole experience was unpleasant, awkward, noisy and chaotic. The food was cold when it came, and the chips were stale and cold. We were quickly hurried on to ordering deserts. The waiter got the deserts mixed up and The cheeseboard was very disappointing. Overal a very disappointing 50th birthday celebratory meal. Left feeling quite upset. Not quite the atmosphere or service I expected and food wasn’t great for the price!
The food was amazing And the staff are very friendly
The starter of scallop was a bit tasteless and steak not especially tender. Steak knives would be good
An enjoyable meal with good service , we shall definitely return .
Thank you Gaucho Piccadilly for a fantastic dining experience!
Me and my girlfriend came for dinner food was lovely would definitely come back service was good could have been faster with the drinks but it was a Friday
Superficial and uncaring service, just a sales push.
Brought my 4 kids for a treat, needed to ask for the kids menu, twice. Didn’t get any wine card, didn’t get much attention to our table and when I pointed all the above out as reasons for not honouring the discretionary service added on.. the waiter said he understood and would take it off the bill, but then he still charged it and tried to cover the receipt!!!
I normally enjoy Gaucho, especially the one in Richmond.
Food was OK.
Excellent pre theatre dinner. All smooth, tidy and efficient. Steaks perfect.
The Mushroom and Broccoli was from canes. The Meet was overcooked and dry. The Wine was cheap and awful. We left after a short time. Terrible!
New year’s eve
Muy buen servicio, muy bonitas y acogedoras instalaciones, la comida con muy buen sabor y diferentes opciones. Un buen lugar para disfrutar en familia, pareja y amigos.
The only issues was with the staff on entry who were not helpful on New Year’s Eve as we arrived late they advised us that we would not be served!
We approached a manager of the top floor who found us a table and server called Manuel who was great and due to this assistance we had a fantastic New Year’s Eve celebration
Really love this place. They continually provide a great up beat vibe and ambience for a meal, and have really special people who go out of their way to make the occasion special. Thank you so much.
Maybe little bit high level on the music.
We come before our table was bookedbut they offered us table when we arrived. And the waiterwas fab. Leonard was fantastic and the food outstanding
New Years Eve, perfect place to celebrate, the staff were professional the service itself was perfect and the food was delicious 😃 10/10
Staff were unattentative, ordered scallops to start wer really undercooked didn't eat but didnt say anything for main I ordered lobster with the steak the lobster was so overcooked and chewy steak was lovely but sent back the lobster halfway through my meal as I couldn't get attention of the staff so didnt want another one just wanted it taken off the bill they said they would take it off the bill and that was that no apology or anything was overpriced and did not have a good experience
We booked month ago, i had requested window table, didn't have. They gave us table of 4 we was 3 so the host girl informed me that we had to stay only for 1hr 45 min. so i wasn't so happy for this because i had requested window table didn't offered us and all the food starters and mains came very quick.
The steak was cooked as we asked them.
Only the fries was burnt and bitter.
Good food and the service was great despite that it was a busy night, being end of year eve.
Food was pretty good. Front of house staff were efficient rather than friendly. Struggled ordering wine, had to settle for our 4th choice Malbec as they were out of stock of our first 3 choices.
New year celebrations. Food was fantastic and service great. Not so keen on the interesting Christmas decor!
Really good restaurant with the best Meat ever! And very good value for the money!
But please work on your sides there are a little bit boring! And the sauce was to thin.
Even though I would still recommend to go there!
Poor service, miserable staff made the meal disappointing because the food is really good. But there are too many other places to eat in London to revisit this one. If you're going, be a bit stroppy maybe....and don't pay the full 12.5% for the pleasure....
The food was delicious and the service was great. It was pretty noisy in the restaurant, but that didn't dull our experience. Great choice when it comes to steaks!
We went to the Gaucho Piccadilly for lunch on 31st December 2019. Though the food (or what we received from our order) was up to Gaucho's usual high standards, we were let down by the service. My daughter's steak (from the kids menu) was excellent and great value for a child meal. My wife and I got our starters (late) and then 25 mins after the starters were cleared we had yet to receive our mains. We ordered from the set menu as we had to leave in 90 mins. Unfortunately, the food arrived less than 5 mins before we had to leave. Gaucho were happy to pack it up, and gave us a £19 discount (not sure how they came up with that redress) on the meal. A disappointing "last lunch of the year".
