Piccadilly is our flagship restaurant, set in a beautiful townhouse just off Regent Street, encompassing the ultimate Gaucho experience in the West End. Impeccable Argentinian steaks, flavours of Latin America and a perfectly curated drinks list are all enjoyed in uncompromised elegance in the former home of a Spanish Ambassador.
This impressive restaurant boasts a variety of unique spaces that soar over three stories. At ground level, you have our warm and welcoming dining room with adjoining weather-proof terrace. As you ascend the original sweeping staircase, you’ll find another dining space with a spectacular open kitchen, where we host our legendary Electro brunch, as well as a myriad of gorgeous private rooms – one inspired by our former Spanish resident.

Great service and food
Very kind staff. Made the day extra special. The food was amazing and the restaurant was beautiful.
Steaks were all cold, and seemingly staff hard to find
Delicious steak and cheesecake, great service, good vibe
The Steak was very very fatty and cold in places, the staff kept coming over whilst we were still eating asking if we had finished! Just seemed like they wanted to get rid of you! Not a great experience at all
Service was not the same as it was a few years ago waited 45min for our first drinks then had our food turn up 5min later. Felt very rushed
My meal was terrible, chips were cold and steak made me feel ill. The Mac and cheese was lovely and so was the dessert bur overall it was not worth my money.
I had a medium done steak
Went here for a pre-birthday meal with a few friends. The decor of the restaurant as well as the food was really nice and the staff were lovely. Definitely a place to come back to.
Disappointed with quality of food. Chips overcooked, steak undercooked. Table next to us very noisy and kept getting up to take photos. Wouldn’t allow us to move due to COVID. Would have been better to eat at the Aberdeen Angus SteakHouse!
The most perfect birthday for my boyfriend. Amazing service, high quality food and very relaxed vibe throughout. So glad to see restaurant booming throughout the evening. Will defo be returning soon!
Lovely food, service and atmosphere. Will definitely coming back
Visited for my boyfriends birthday, beautiful atmosphere, polite staff, outstanding service. Ordered fillet steak, medium done, it literally melted in my mouth - perfectly done and beautifully served.
Loved that I could chose portion size, I think more restaurants should do it.
Food great but the wine we asked for they didn’t have( 3 different wines & prosecco ) I then asked for another Prosecco which was
Awful but that’s all they had !! They then suggested champagne but they did t have what we wanted they suggested Dom perignom and as we were with business associate very difficult to talk price so went with her sugggestion thought they would go with similar price to what we asked for when we got the bill we realised it was £200 a bottle !!! Very disappointed 😕
Really disappointed .
Waiter size my client and I down our wobbly table even even though there were plenty of superior tables available. Service was poor, steak was poor and restaurant hasn’t really moved on since 2003, however the competition have.
Simply perfect. From food to the staff and location. Is my favourite place I can only recommend!
The bathroom isn’t very tidy and clean ,
Also had no hand wash ,pls try to improve bit .
The steak was under seasoned, not very well cooked and therefore rather bland. On cutting it you could see one side had been cooked for significantly longer than the other side. One half was medium well, the other medium rare.
Service was attentive and prompt.
Overall disappointing though, you don’t pay premium prices at a steak restaurant and expect an average (at best) steak.
There are better steak restaurants, such as Hawksmoor, which provide better value.
the first three wines we chose were not available . Clearly they have run stocks down.
The service was amazing and quick but didn’t feel like we were being rushed. We were checked in enough times, staff were very friendly and polite! Very clean everywhere and lovely atmosphere! Would definitely come back to that particular Gaucho and recommend to friends!
Decent quality of food but I believe for the price could be better. Staff were lovely and attentive, we were sitting outside which was beautiful.
Even the fries for an establishment like this should be better, i got the same fries in a takeaway fast food the day before.
Great friendly service and amazing food. Good location for all weather
Really disappointed been here before hence return. Felt rushed. Ask 3 times for air con to be turned off as was beyond freezing cold, did not do as asked, we then asked to move tables. Felt very rushed no care for asking if food was ok, my fillet steak was awful horrible cut of meat, far too salty and over cooked to requirements asked, no waiter to ask how the food was to say it was uneatable, did not feel the ambiance that we have had before was far too busy and rushed bearing mind COVID restrictions felt too cramped! Ladies toilets were disgusting filthy, graffiti on back of doors, really really not what you would expect from a so called good restaurant. Feel like it’s had it’s day and needs tidying up. Would not recommend for a nice quite meal or nice steak.
Food was great, our server was lovely. Perfect evening outside in warm weather.
Disappointed with several of the dishes, table edges coming away, absolutely no way of cleaning them, will never return
Food delicious, service outstanding from Alexia and atmosphere lovely, music not too loud.
The toilets were dirty .. booked outside table and told us we have to go inside.. very expensive than used to be.. not a good experience
Amazing food and quick serving of drinks and food. Friendly service, the only downside was it took a while to get the bill.
We had the steak platter with 4 different steaks on. All were really nice and cooked very well. The only problem is when you get to the last steak it is cold. Could you find a way of keeping them warm? Will be hard as you don not want to keep cooking the steaks.
Lovely meal with great service and really friendly staff. Manuel was brilliant. Only ever eaten inside before however chose outside on this occasion and it was very good. Very thoughtful touch for our birthdays without request so a big thank you.
The place is amazing, for my taste the food was exactly what i whant but i expected to vary. A little expensive but if you whant to spend time in a great place, this is it! 5*
Nice food & really nice waiters, enjoyed the evening
Booked for a special birthday - delicious steaks and loved the cocktails. Great vibe for a Friday night! Fantastic- definitely recommend and come again!
Excellent food and service
Lovely food, attentive staff - perfect evening out!
A fantastic evening once again courtesy of the great team at Gaucho Piccadilly. Table was ready as soon as we arrived, great outside space. Waitress was superb in explaining dishes and cuts. Good value for excellent food and service.
We absolutely loved everything about Gaucho. We had the Beef and Wine option and steak was first class. We tried all cuts and every single one was full of flavours. It was delicious. Special thank you to our waitress Alexandra she was amazing.
This is a good steak restaurant in a great location, right near Piccadilly Circus. It has a good ambiance and was very lively on the evening we visited. There is a good selection of wines (from the moderate to very expensive), and the menu has a great range of steak, as well as other dishes, though steak is clearly the recommended thing to have. The price is moderately expensive, but not bad given its location. It is a chain, but this is a particularly good outlet of this chain.
Overall it was excellent. Slight hiccup with one of our steaks that was overdone but the waiter had it replaced straight away and provided a complimentary drink to apologise.
We ordered two rib-eyes medium rare. Both were well done. Absolutely awful, had I not had a client with me I would have kicked up an almighty fuss. Horrendous failure of the most basic part of Gaucho - ie not being able to cook a steak to order.
Will not be going back to Gaucho again. On top the service was very mediocre and the overall value is generous at 1 star……
Slow service. No offer of bread. Portions small. No pressure for our table so able to stay as long as we wished.
