Service was great & we both enjoyed our dinner!
A truly amazing evening . Excellent service, exquisite food. I would highly recommend the experience.
Finally went to this spot with my partner and it was amazing. Our server Christian was very attentive and friendly which made the night more relaxing. The tagliatelle mushroom was flavoursome and the chips perfect! The view of Tower Bridge was breath taking and added to the ambiance if the evening.
The waiter was so lovely and the food was excellent! Already planned to go again.
Was a great deal for £30. Entree, main and dessert as well as a glass of rose! And great food and ambience.
Dreadful food. Had to send steak back first time as it was well done - had ordered medium-rare. It took them 20 minutes to bring a replacement after promising 5 minutes, resulting in my wife eating by herself. The replacement steak was not the original steak cut I ordered on the menu. This was also over cooked.
The starters - my wife had ceviche - This was definitely NOT ceviche. No leche de Tigre (lime juice based), had tomatoes and not watermelon as was stated on the menu.
I had scallops. They were cooked ok, very bland and served with oats which is very very misguided. It was like eating breakfast cereal with 2 tiny scallops amongst it which is a little sad for over £15!
The wine was nice. But it should've been for £60 and the one thing that Gaucho didn't make/tamper with themselves.
The entire bill was £170 for 2. I would've begrudged paying even £70 for that shambles. A steak restaurant that cannot cook steak properly.
Great food and service, nice view of Tower Bridge
Would highly recommend! Food was delicious, very much worth the expense
Absolutely outstanding experience here over the weekend. We went on a Sunday to celebrate my 30th birthday. We asked in the booking if they might have a nice table for us, and when we arrived not only did the colleagues on the door wish me a happy birthday, we were seated in a lovely booth and given complimentary Prosecco. Our server was fantastic, he really knew his stuff about what we were ordering and was able to advise based on what we wanted. Drinks, service, and food all absolutely fantastic - we will definitely be returning!
Just okay! Unfortunately both myself and my partner where disappointed to be told at 19:00 that they had sold out of their Sunday roast. The substitute food was good but not what we had hoped for as we’d been told it was to an excellent standard!
Further to this we where billed with a service charge of £20.00 which left a slight sour taste! As i didn’t feel the service was as good as most places we had eaten which hadn’t enforced a service charge.
everything from meeting and greeting us to the food and service was perfect. we were celebrating a birthday and the manager him self came over and introduced his self who was so professional. I think name was PAvo. Def would return.
Waiter was very lovely and the quality of the food was amazing.
It was a great steakhouse. However I had asked for my steak well done and got medium rare. It was my friends birthday and we had a booking for a bar later that evening therefore I did not have time to correct the order. Service charge was added on and I refused to pay this. The man rudely said it’s only £... looking down on us. I had explained I asked for well done and did not get this but I did not have time to correct the order as I was in a rush for my next booking. He then had an attitude and took the service charge off. Also service charge is not mandatory! There should not be a problem with not paying this. Overall the restaurant was nice with a nice view- apart from the Service.
Waited ages to be served. Ordered a bottle of sparkling rose and was told they had run out. Offered a white substitute which was not really anywhere near the same as it was £52 instead of £30. Also roast lunch was no more than average. I have never written a negative review before by the way.
Disappointed from the the moment we were sat at our table. Made a reservation for five people, but we were squeezed on a table which fits four. The service was slow, from start to finish. Overall disappointed.
Booked a table for my husbands b-day.
Visited many steakhouse, but this one’s food is excellent ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Perfect service and location.
But for the money they charge you except it.
Happy with everything.
Definitely come again and recommend this restaurant.
Great food, brilliant service and a lovely atmosphere. What more could you ask!
I feel the outdoor area does not represent the same standard of comfort as the indoor area. The tables and chairs could have been cleaner and all tables should have umbrellas. Feel the outdoor area should be made an extension of the indoor area and feel you are getting the same experience.
However the staff, service and food were fantastic as usual!
Had a lovely time with my Mum and nephew as part of his 18th birthday celebrations. Our waiter was brilliant, attentive but not intrusive & very covid conscious.
Amazing food, amazing service, amazing view!
Will definitely be back!
everything was perfect, the food was absolutely uniquely delicious and the restaurant beautiful
Superb experience and delicious food. Not the restaurant’s fault but given the pandemic the atmosphere was rather flat. Huge change in demographic also. Lots of young couples there, I felt old!!
Everything from Food, Service, Atmosphere, it was all perfect
Had a lovely time food was amazing would recommend
Food was delicious and the cocktails were even better. Service excellent and our table had a view of the gorgeous bridge. Lovely evening and worth every penny.
Service was fantastic, really lovely staff!
Beautiful views from the restaurant.
Food was great
Food was great as usual! & Service was unbelievable!
Was overall very impressed with everything. The food was incredible and our waitress Mara was lovely and very helpfull
Incredible food and service! They were happy to seat us despite us being early and the service by christian was amazing!
One of the best steaks I’ve ever had! And the weather was lovely so we sat outside with the most wonderful view of Tower Bridge. An excellent meal & we all really enjoyed ourselves.
The steak was spectacular. The Staff were very very welcoming and made the evening a pleasurable experience. The wine list was quite good and complimented the dishes.
Food was okay. Little oily. Have had better burgers elsewhere. Service was very good. Probably wouldn't go if it wasn't for Eat Out to Help Out
First class food served by first class staff with a first class view, I would not hesitate to recommend this restaurant.
Too loud, couldn’t hear each other. Under staffed, didn’t have the finesse I’d expect for Gaucho.
Food was phenomenal
I had a great time with my friends. The food was very nice and I got a celebration cake. They restaurant has got good customer service
From the moment we arrived it was amazing .... the smell of Oudh and the welcome !
Our waiter was great he explains all the different cuts of meat and origin.
When it arrived it didn’t disappoint! Beautiful tender steak with a rich pepper sauce crunchy chips what more could you ask for .... ohh and the view was unbelievable
Everything was great, definitely recommend the steak
Great food and service as always, lovely location too!
Not as good as first time, clearly economising ,,,booked lunchtime special but had to ask and did not match up to offer online. No bread or other nibbles and £50 for a very average wine which was supposedly a Gaucho "favourite" on the wine list. So £130 later not a great experience. Also listed on my booking was my birthday , not even a cracker to celebrate this ....dissapointing
