Last night before lockdown...really nice place, great views and ambience. Food was top drawer and not bad pricing for the location.
A bit disappointed for the quality/price.
When you pay 50 pounds a steak you don't really expect to pay for some extra sauce.
Nice environment overall.
But we won't come back.
Overall good experience
The food was great except the sticky toffee which was dry, the service was slightly unsettling and i had to ask 3 times for the same drink before it was brought to me 40 minutes later and the woman serving us was slightly rude. We asked to clean the table in-between food and she refused saying she can’t because of Covid. What has that got to with Covid? Such ignorant excuse to not do something. That really put me off.
The servers were attentive and went out of there way to make the experience very pleasurable. The atmosphere was welcoming. Overall it was a nice experience and looking forward to going again.
Can not fault anything at all. Staff were really attentive and very pleasant, always on top and available without being overbearing. Food was amazing and thoroughly enjoyed.
Lovely meal and really well looked after by our waiter
Really nice restaurant, definitely would recommend, service was fast, quality of the food was amazing
Everything perfect, but some charges I felt weren’t necessary I.e £3 for a tiny pot of peppercorn sauce
Fantastic restaurant with great food and great service. Will definitely be back after lockdown.
The view of Tower Bridge was amazing and the steak melted in your mouth. Would visit again and have already recommended you to others. Thank you.
Thank you, we had amazing time and best way how to end my boyfriends birthday . Great food, service and view. Shoutout to all the staff members for working hard in this pandemic time. Thank you guys.
Fantastic food, you pay for what you get with Gaucho, the quality is outstanding
Enjoyed a lovely lunch at Gaucho. Food and service was very good. The sirloin steak was amazing, will definately come back
We’ve been to this branch many times before, however this time the food wasn’t as good. Firstly they now charge for bread at £4, which was previously free, this includes two of the cheese balls and a small baguette, definitely no enough for a table of four to share. The mash was too runny and very salty, and drench beans was also too salty. Service was a bit slow given the restaurant was not busy at all.
Food as always was great. Service was a bit slow though. We did arrive early so enjoyed a drink in the bar, but also decided what our order would be which was given as we sat down. There was a very long pause from clearing our starters and our mains arriving. This could also be due to recent social distancing guidelines.
Will definitely still return though.
Has the 3 course set menu...... Rump steak was delicious and tender with no fat so could eat every single bit of it, starter and dessert very nice too, good value for money
Good, staff attentive. We enjoyed the food and the wine.
Amazing quality food if you are not Argentinian, otherwise the price is way too high for what you get
Lovely meal for my partners birthday. Throughly enjoyed.
Absolutely the best steak I’ve ever had, amazing friendly service too!
A Great table given, which we requested for a special occasion,
Service and food always top notch.
Lovely staff and food. Always a safe place to go
Staff are amazing, food is amazing and really great location. Will definitely be returning!
Service and food was excellent. Would definitely recommend
Food was great.
Service was great until many younger groups arrived.
It was disturbing to see many groups of younger adults as we were left wondering why so many were allowed to dine with each other given we need to be in the same household.
If we had known there was a lunch offer we would have taken that instead but we were uninformed.
We had a lovely evening for my boyfriend’s 21st birthday, the food was lovely and our waiter ensured we had a really nice evening - Thankyou!
Charging for bread and delivering stale bread with the burrata really has made Goucho lose its sense of quality restaurant. Prices though beg otherwise. While previously Goucho might have been too dark, they have gone the other way and the lighting gave a feeling of a canteen.
Brilliant value, lovely food and great service! Highly recommend
Really good food a little overpriced but the view was stunning
I was a bit disappointed this time, sorry to say the food wasn’t great.
Went as part of London restaurant festival month and would highly recommend. The food was excellent, great atmosphere and all safety and hygiene standards were of a very high standard. Really good value, amazing ribeye steak!
Lovely meal and great service. Would definitely go back.
Food and setting was great and good value. Had a lovely meal. It wasn't very busy for obvious reasons so was quiet without feeling you were in a library.
Will definitely go again.
Not so happy bread that was compliment is now half the portion size and costs £4
Everything about my experience was exceptional, from the minute we walked in and got greeted to the minute we walked out at the end of the night. Couldn't recommend it highly enough, view was perfect food was perfect and the service was perfect also with very friendly staff.
My boyfriend and I attended the gauchos at tower bridge. We ordered the classic burger together it came with chips. We were very unhappy with the food it was awful the burger had a whole lettuce leaf in with a brown and white sauce. It did not taste good at all. I was very disappointed with Gauchos as I thought that the food would be nice. I would not recommend the restaurant to anybody.
Friendly Staff, attentive. Made our anniversary dinner memorable.
Amazing evening from start to finish, incredible food, lovely atmosphere and an amazing waiter that went the extra mile to make our evening special (I wish I knew his name!!!)
Thank you for the best evening!
