Gaucho Tower Bridge
You’ll struggle to find a better view or steak along the Southbank than at Gaucho Tower Bridge. Our restaurant soars over two, magnificent glass-fronted floors with panoramas of the historic London skyline with the Tower of London and Tower Bridge taking centre stage.
In warm and uncomplicated interiors, Gaucho Tower Bridge is the perfect location for guests to enjoy dusk to dawn dining, with our menu showcasing impeccable Argentinian steaks and Latin American plates. Our terrace, secluded cocktail bar, and private dining rooms offer a tranquil yet sophisticated experience with beautiful views across the River Thames. We cannot recommend enough ordering a bottle of one of our premium wines, taking a seat at the window and watching the sunset riverside.

Our server Alexio (sorry if that’s not the correct spelling) was wonderful and helpful with suggestions! Food was wonderful and overall just a wonderful spot to dine in and have a good evening with a group of friends.
Everything was ok, service, food, wine, ambiance. Price ok considering the quality.
Food and especially drinks were overpriced. Seating can very cramped. They put five adults at a table built for four people. When we asked for a bigger table, the waitress checked but the manager laughed it off - don’t take the reservation if you can’t accommodate. Would not go again.
Amazing views of Tower Bridge, especially as the sunset and the bridge lit up.
Gaucho was a fantastic choice of restaurant for my family to experience, as always great food, cooked to perfection.
Best steak in London, very good location with an exceptional view and excellent all round.
This place is the total package! From the wonderful views of the river and tower, to the steak cuts presentation, everything was on point, be sure to try the classic Argentinian ribeye! The appetizers were appealing as well, and don’t forget the desserts, we tried the dulce de leche,. I have to commend Roberto, our server, for the exceptional service! Great job! See you again next time,Gaucho!
Amazing food and romantic I will be going back soon
Wonderful evening with the girls. We were served by Christian who was a wonderful host.
I think that there are other steak restaurants that I would refer in preference.
Some things just seemed ridiculously expensive. For example - the scallops for starter at £15 for just two (one quite small one and an average sized one).
The broccoli tenderstem for a side dish just screamed pricey - the menu said it was cooked with different things, to be honest it was just a few fairly hard florets (not tenderstem) and couldn't taste any seasoning - priced at £5.
The steaks were okay, there was x3 of us - we had x1 empana and 1 x scallops for starter, a 700g chateaurbriand and a 400g T Bone, x3 portions of chips (not big portions) the broccoli and carrots for side dishes. x2 bottles of wine (lovely), 1 beer, 2 glasses of wine and water and total at £314.00 (with service). The service was impeccable.
Great food service was very good cocktails fantastic had a lovely birthday meal out with friends
Very poor service. They served us the food from another table first and put a glass of wine on our bill which we never had.
Beautiful food, perfect customer service, made it very special ❤️
It was very nice especially with the deal from open table
Really enjoyable! Great food and amazing views of Tower Bridge
Amazing service, had the seat with the best view of Tower Bridge for my husbands birthday. My steak came a bit cooler than I would have liked, he gave me a new steak plus more sides with no charge. Had a lovely waiter who gave us a good experience and who was very attentive and friendly. Definitely will be going back again
Excelent food and serice although
Lovely restaurant with lovely views . Service was great
Restaurant itself was well presented and staff were friendly, however they seemed to have a little bit too much to do and as a result weren't quite as attentive as I believe they'd have liked to have been.
The food was pretty underwhelming, especially for the price. My steak was pretty bland and more chewy than I'd have expected (especially cooked medium-rare).
It certainly wasn't an unpleasant evening, but I won't be planning a return visit.
A great location and great view of tower bridge out of the window 👍
The Canary Wharf one is so much better, the steak, the veg
Was so amazing took my daughter for her birthday and they gave us complimentary desert and shots. The steak was the best I've ever had, it's quite expensive but so worth it
Dear Cherie, Thank you for your kind review. We are delighted to hear that your daughter's birthday celebration has been a memorable one. We take a lot of pride in our Aberdeen Angus grass-fed beef, which comes all the way from La Pampa, so we are very glad that you have enjoyed your steak. If you are ever looking for a very special treat consider our Sunday offering which is Beef&Bottle - 90 minutes of bottomless steak and wine! We hope to welcome you back to Gaucho Tower Bridge soon.
Fantastic steak and ambient nice and perfect clean.
I love gaucho, I come from Manchester so I have been to one of the chain restaurant before and I Loved it! The food was gorgeous as always and the waitress was lovely to x
Thank you so much for your review - we are delighted to hear that you have enjoyed your time with us. We hope to welcome you back to Gaucho Tower Bridge during your next visit to London!
Service very average for this type of restaurant. Very slow and non attentive. Food was ok, nothing g special. Ambience very nice and view from the ground floor of the London bridge was very nice. Had a window table but hot air blew down from a heater.
I went to gaucho for a birthday occasion and it was my first time going from what I experienced when I was there I loved it. The staff and service was amazing also, the stakes were delicious. Gaucho would be one of my favourite restaurants from now.
Second time I a couple of weeks , service a little slow to start but soon got on track
The food was great but the service was awful. We were asked to go to the bar upstairs to wait and have a drink. There was nobody serving in the bar and despite going back downstairs and being assured someone was coming to serve, nobody did. Service was very slow, mainly because the restaurant was under staffed. They forgot our drinks order twice at the table and I didn’t have time for a desert it is took so long for the 1st 2 courses to be served.
Decent view and setting, but ruined by understaffing.

Kind regards, Carlo Ghiulgiuoglu Assistant General Manager
Eccellente posizione, location perfetta, menù contenuto, ottima la carne, servizio in generale è migliorabile.
We did the reservation on November in the website and then we called them to assure that won’t be any problem to go with a 1 year old baby and to prove the number of seats. 2 days before the reservation the restaurant called us and we repited the same to be sure that we will need table for 5 adults and 1 baby. When we arrived (31/12/2019) we had to wait more than 30 minuts because they didn’t have spce for the baby seat and the stroller. The Only solution was to wait in this special night. So so bad! Never will Repeat again
Thank you for your review. We take a lot of pride in our high level of service, and we are sorry to hear that you have been disappointed during your visit. We have investigated the camera footage which shows you have been seated within 10 mins of your 10 o'clock reservation-nevertheless we apologise for the confusion regarding the number of guests. Should you wish to discuss your experience further,or if I can invite you back, please reach out to me on firstname.lastname@example.org m
My girlfriend and I had a reservation there for a late dinner on new years eve 2019. We arrived 10 minutes early so we were referred to the bar/waiting area for a drink. After half an hour or so we thought we had waited for too long and approached the hostess, who were relieved to find us. Even though the waiting area isn't that big we somehow managed to "blend in” well to the dim surroundings. She handled the situation wonderfully and managed to finally get us a corner table with a perfect view of London Bridge on short notice. Possibly the best table in the restaurant?
Our Rumanian waiter took great care of us during the next three hours. We had beef carpaccio and burrata for starters. Both tasteful and wonderfully presented. For mains we each had a 225g Lomo fillet (medium) which is sufficient even if you are extremely hungry. The Lomos was great. We cannot find enough words to describe the meat. It was perfect. They were accompanied with a firecracker chimichurry (hot and wonderful), a perfectly balanced Béarnaise and three sides (spinach, buttered lettuce and chips). If we could have the same dinner again, we would replace the buttered lettuce. It was good, but not anything compared to the rest of the meal.
For desserts we had salted dulce de leche cheesecake and sticky toffee pudding. What a way to finish a meal - go there and have the desserts if you are feel a need to satisfy your sweet tooth.
All in all, a great evening and a wonderful way to welcome the new year. Thank you for a wonderful experience. We will be back on our next trip to London.
Dear Sven, Thank you for your amazing feedback! We are delighted to hear that your evening with us was such a memorable one, despite the initial hiccup with the table. We will also make sure to pass your comments onto the Chef. We look forward to welcoming you back to Gaucho Tower Bridge on your next visit to London.
Service wasn’t very good. Table of 6 and food was arriving 10/20 minutes apart. Had to wait 30 minutes to be seated for our 9pm table.
Dined on New Year's eve, restaurant had a lovely atmosphere. Food was excellent with great service. Would definately recommend a visit.
I had a table booked 6 months in advance for me and my parter to eat before watching the NYE fireworks. Within this booking we had requested a table with a great view of Tower Bridge, we ended up sat at the back of the restaurant with two large beams blocking the view. We had booked for 8:00PM, which was cutting it fine for making the entrance time for the fireworks. We were told we could arrive early and wait at the bar and our table might be ready before our allocated time, however we ended up waiting 20 minutes till 8:20 before we were seated. Other tables of two that arrived later than us were still seated before we had been allocated a table. Staff were relatively unwelcoming and looked as though they didn’t want to be there. After taking our order we waited 10 minutes just to get a bottle of water and another 10 after this for some bread. The food was amazing, as our steaks were perfectly cooked etc the service ruined the evening as we had to rush our meal due to the lack of efficiency of the staff.
Really great food. BUT we had to Wait for our table that we had booked since before for 40 minutes. And when we were leaving the staff couldn’t find our jackets. Not great service but the place and food were great.
Brilliant as always. Got a complimentary glass of fizz too because the manager was lovely. Best steak I’ve ever eaten. Can’t wait to go back again! I’m becoming a regular for special occasions
Lovely food! However booked a table for 7:15 and was not seated until 7:50, meaning we had to rush our food as well had other places to be.
Excellent food and service really cool decor just very small portion sizes for the price
Food just took a while to come out but otherwise great location and nice place to eat
Went for my son’s 28th birthday and had the bottomless steak and wine meal. Our waiter Raphael was lovely and service was fantastic thank you. Food was excellent and restaurant was spotless and warm. We all enjoyed ourselves very much. Thank you for a lovely evening
We had a wonderful family evening out. The steak was outstanding.
