A very warm welcome. Had a lovely table by the window overlooking Tower Bridge. Lovely setting. Food was delicious and great service, very attentive waiter. Went there to celebrate my Sons Birthday and Gaucho didn’t disappoint.
Excellent Sunday lunch, friendly staff, great location.
Generally very good quality Sunday lunch. Few more roast potatoes/veg would have been good but the endless Yorkshire puds mitigates that to some degree. Tuna starter was tasty but minuscule. Service was superb.
What a great service, shame I couln't get our waitress name. She did a great job.
Food excellent. Service a little aggressive! Food was good value - we had the Sunday lunch which was well priced. I was surprised and disappointed to see that the service was already added on to the bill - 12.5% was excessive. It is always good to have the option to add service and tailor it to the experience. Seeing the bill led to realise why the service was less than enjoyable: the tip had already been decided. It was also a little disappointing to not be able to book a window table.
We were asked specifically whether it was a special occasion. It was: my daughter’s birthday. Whilst it was kind of the management to mark this, I thought that one solitary candle and a ‘cake’ of 3 small chocolates was paltry. Difficult to share out!
However the food was excellent but the lack of a really friendly welcome means we won’t rush back.
I’ll recommend it to friends because of the food and view but not for a special occasion.
Staff where very friendly food was amazing and the atmosphere was great!!
We were looked after until out table was ready, the waiting staff were very good and prompt, we didn't have starters went straight for the mains, which were nicely presented, cooked well and was tasty. We only had one dessert, then finished off with a cocktail and Irish coffee. All very nice.
The Bill was presented and there were extra items on the Bill that we had not had, no quibble, they removed those items.
When using the facilities the Male toilets, although clean had 2 of the 3 taps broken, and the Female toilets were clean, but did not have toilet paper in them, so I don't know who was checking them, this did bring down the score overall for us.
We dine here for the first time and we had an wonderful time! Our waiter, Krzysztof was amazing! Best service we had in London for a long time, and we just want to say him a big thank you! Food was delicious too!
Krzystof waiter has benn amazingly, best service ever. Fantastic restaurant 👌 recommended. Thank you
Food was delicious. Service was brilliant. Great value for money
Overall we had a lovely night, one of the steaks was very fatty and to be honest the macaroni was over cooked and dry. Worked out a very expensive night when you add on the inclusive automatic £45 tip!
Excellent service, food good quality. We had the set menu which we consider excellent value for money and offered a good choice. The only thing which I felt was needed attention was the cleanliness of the black fabric on the chairs, marked and stained in places.
Great location with unrivalled views. Excellent food, knowledgable and friendly staff.
Ok, it's Gaucho so you know it's going to be pricey. But oof. The wine pricing is at Michelin-starred levels and really take the mickey quite a bit.
Still, steaks were good.
Noise levels (mainly from one party table) were a bit high but glass and hard surfaces do that.
The food was incredible. We had steaks and plenty of sides and sauces, all of which were amazing. The wine was delicious (even if it was a tad on the expensive side). The tiny fly in the ointment was our table position. We booked the restaurant so we could see tower bridge, and unfortunately we ended up next to a column that obstructed the view. Would definitely go back to Gaucho and would highly recommend a visit to anyone.
Would defo revisit, the service, view and the food were excellent. Had a reli great bday:)
We booked this place to enjoy the graduation celebration for my husband and my inlaws on a Monday evening. When we entered, it was almost as if we booked the entire place for ourselves. Obviously was due to Covid's work-from-home suggestion by the government. We picked a seat overlooking the tower bridge. It was beautiful.
Then we ordered a few things to try including the swordfish, ribeye, rump steak, and burger. First of all, their steak was all grass-fed which held a very high-quality standard. My ribeye was juicy and paired very well with the chimichurri sauce and Malbec. Our server was very attentive. Everyone seemed to love their food and enjoyed it very much.
The server also gave us some truffles that wrote congratulations on the plate. What a lovely gesture.
We enjoyed our time at Gaucho and will certainly return for more of that quality food. Thank you!
Absolutely amazing experience!!
We went for my girlfriends birthday and the reception we received was outstanding. Could not ask for anything to have been better! The food was so nice and we were looked after!
Birthday and promotion. Too bright, not busy but service was slow. Food, particularly sides are incredibly expensive for what you get
Great say as always. Thank you for looking after us for our girls birthdays, as you do every year
The experience was not great observing the staff treating me and my cousin different to the rest of their customers without knowing a reason why. The only difference was our skin colours. I did state this to the manager who was lovely but at the same time I am not sure if she was being genuine or acting on what she been taught. I have been gauchos many times in different locations and this was my worst experience at this restaurant. I believe we should all be treated equally no matter our race.
An amazing experience. Excellent food and the service by Zaklina was 5 stars.
Steak was very good chips and Mac and cheese were really dry and had no cheese in my Mac and cheese
The service was exemplary. Very knowledgeable staff
Food was fantastic. All round fully enjoyed the experience
The stake was amazing. The chips were too hard to chew. The Mac and cheese lacked seasoning to our taste. Great drink selection. I didn’t like the idea of a five guys being located right next door but that’s a minor. The view of the tower was amazing at night. The service was okay but our waiter had too many people to serve at once. He did a good job but the service would have been better had he had less tables to manage at once.
The lady in the host (short hair and glasses) super rude, we waited for our table 45 min, even when I made the booking two days before. Mac and cheese overcooked, we ask for medium term the steak and inside was quite cold. Conclusion, not very nice experience
Went for my girlfriends 40th. The best meal we’ve ever had. The view, the service, the food and the atmosphere. Can’t wait to go back. Thank you for such a great night
Food was lovely, service was good and a lovely view of tower bridge!
Our waiter was a really good and very attentive, topping up drinks and bringing anything extra we ordered
Disappointingly average. Hit and miss service that filtered off to disinterest, lukewarm steak and sides, all round mediocre in every way. You can’t beat the view but right now that’s about all the place has going for it. Used to be a go to for quality but last night’s experience just said don’t bother again.
Waiter was very attentive, service excellent. Food lovely and wine great.
Never been to a ‘Goucho’ before & we already can’t wait to be back. The most delicious food & waiter ‘big boy’ was extremely helpful & cheery.
Service was great making us feel comfortable. Food quality was brilliant however possibly overpriced sides but still at a high standard anyways. Atmosphere is cozy but sophisticated, perfect.
Great service and food. Our waiter Christian was outstanding. Had a lovely experience.
Love Gaucho and it never disappoints - great views across to Tower Bridge. Knowledgeable staff and really enjoyed the value of their merry friendmas set menu. Delicious food as always!
Another delicious outing for lunch to Gaucho Tower Bridge. Brought all the family this time and as usual food excellent, service first class and a big win for us that we can bring our well behaved little dog.
Thoroughly recommend and will be visiting again very soon!
Delicious meal, excellent service. Accessible for wheelchairs
I’m the returning customer but I just love the place! The staff was very polite and the service was excellent. Food always delicious, so is wine and cocktails. Will be definitely coming back again!
Great location, amazing food and wonderful staff
The staff were very polite and welcoming, everything was great except the food unfortunately. Presentation wasn’t great and was very bland, no real flavour. Some of the food came out cold and just wasn’t worth the money to be honest.
The food was great, and service was top notch. Went for our anniversary and were given a cute happy anniversary dessert with yummy chocolates on the house - gesture was very appreciated! Definitely recommend the cheesecake.
