#1 excellent service
Excellent Restaurant. I always return to this place. 5star.
It was my birthday celebration dinner with my wife last evening at Gaucho Tower Bridge. We were presented with 2 glasses of champagne on the house. Great gesture by Gaucho. As usual the service and food quality were excellent.
Absolutely FIRST CLASS ,
Well worth the travel to get there
Disappointing that only the ‘cheaper’ wines were out of stock.
Food was good, but not amazing, given the overall cost.
The waiter took forever to take our order and he was not that busy. The restaurant tried to charge us for drinks we did not order. Luckily I checked the bill this time.
The food was stunning and you can tell you are paying a premium price because the chefs expertise in every dish shines through.
The staff were amazing, attentive and undeniably one of the best services I have ever experienced in a restaurant.
Thye decor and ambience were stunning - the views of Tower Bridge and the river couldnt be beaten.
Great range of cocktails and drinks to suit every tastebud!
Very lovely meal. As should be expected our steaks were perfectly cooked and the waiter nicely attentive.
My mother has celiac disease and Gaucho’s made her sign a paper in case there were traces which we were not really happy about. Gaucho’s need to better by having a aperste space for allergies!!
Very basic vegetarian choices would expect better than pesto pasta - so basic. Ordered a side of mushrooms and got two slices of a mushroom!! Had to ask more than once for drinks. As restaurant got busier service got worse. Mains arrived and starters plates hadn’t even been cleared. Very hot inside even though it wasn’t outside. Very overrated restaurant.
Disappointing steaks , was hoping for far better based on value for money.
Felt my steak was tough. Mentioned it to the waiter. Downplayed to avoid hassle and risk of upsetting my wife’s birthday celebration meal.
Waiter proceeded to pick up my plate and used my fork to prod the steak.
He said not tough after what seemed an eternity!
I have eaten in lots of great restaurants.
Not been subjected to this before.
I simply stated my view.
Anyone think this is acceptable customer service.
Mid price restaurant but hoped for better!
The service was amazing but the air con was not sufficient and the temperature in the restaurant was very hot. The food was good and the wine great bit slightly overpriced.
Good was well cooked but didn’t feel that special. Service was very poor. Waited 25 mins for a drink and mains had come before anyone took our wine order. I’d probably not return.
Gorgeous food and service along with amazing views of Tower Bridge. The concierge Pam was amazing and took time to take lovely photos for us after the meal. Great customer service.
Steak was excellent, however I thought £5 for a portion of chips was excessive.
Staff and service were very good.
As we were finishing our meal, we were surprised when asked to move to another table, as there was a large group expected and staff wanted to join up our table to accommodate this group. We ate at 5pm and the restaurant was quite with lots of empty tables. I consider this very annoying and unprofessional, feeling staff just wanted us to leave.
Came away for a few days for my boyfriends 30th, when booking I said it was for a birthday and from start to finish the staff were lovely and wished him a happy birthday as soon as we arrived. All of the staff were very friendly and welcoming. They gave us a lovely table in the window to celebrate with a great view.
All of the Food was absolutely exceptional and I can’t fault one thing. They brought out a small pudding at the end with “Happy Birthday” on the plate too. Would definitely return here.
Steak was cooked perfectly and everything had so much flavour.
Exceptional service from arrival through to leaving.
Great steak menu
I had fillet steak and I at wasn’t very tender, was disappointed
A lovely welcome to the restaurant, amazing food-definitely worth the price. Would of been nice to have some more cocktails on the drinks menu and would want a window seat next time!!
The food was amazing accompanied by a high quality of customer service and ambience created will definitely be returning!
Birthday meal with my wife. Corner table with a lovely view of Tower Bridge. The exceptionally warm and friendly front of house/general manager called Pam was brilliant. She was attentive, entertaining and even took some photos of us outside after our meal. We would return again just to experience her first class hospitality!
Dan the waiter was very helpful and polite food overall was amazing
Perfect experience ever!
Good food, really recommend their rump steak.
Superb dining in a buzzing atmosphere with spectacular views and great service
Wasn’t as good as the usual level of service. Wether this was down to me being with my girlfriend and not my father I am not sure but still a nice experience
really really lovely, staff were welcoming and nice. would’ve preferred a table nearer to the london view
Lovely dinner, that included starter main and deserts, staff was very helpful and quick to help you with anything you needed, wonderful view of the tower bridge especially when it start to get darker outside!
A lovely treat for my wife and I to celebrate a couple of special occasions,
From the moment we were greeted, we were made to special and given plenty of time to take in the whole experience.
The cocktails were very enjoyable, and there where plenty of food choices between the set lunch or the A la Carte menus, to satisfy all. The steaks were excellent and the portions of the side dishes were more than ample for us.
Yes, it is slightly expensive, however I am a very firm believer in you get exactly what you pay for and in this instance, I believe we came out on top. The whole experience will stay with us for a very long time. I would highly recommend this restaurant for its customer service, quality of food and overall ambience.
Great location, great service and if you're a steak lover and a cocktail lover this could be your place!
Antonio looked after us very well. Just the right balance of attention, and he was very good with my daughter 's allergies. She was really happy with her meal, especially as she can't usually have a dessert when we eat out.
Absolutely fantastic place to eat great food great atmosphere great views of tower bridge and river if seated up stairs. The only reason it’s dropped a star is because as soon as desert was finished was rushed to clear our table. Made the end of our evening slightly rushed. But other than that this place comes highly recommended.
Food perfect and served on time. Waiting staff friendly and efficient and welcome at the front door was professional and friendly.
Veey slow food service and mistakes (overcharged)on bill
We really enjoyed the family lunch in this restaurant. Food was delicious, good choice of wine and service was very good too. Unfortunately what did not impress us was that at another table there were 2 people sitting (indoors) with a dog which was frequently and loudly barking, which was disturbing and annoying. It would probably make sense to ask such clients to sit outside (especially as weather was great and sunny on that day) instead of disturbing the whole restaurant with barking. I found it inappropriate
Service was shocking, my wife and I ended walking out. We had to wait 15 to be seated despite booking a table. The waiter never came near us other than to provide water. We will not be going back and would definitely not recommend this restaurant. Very disappointing.
Nice service the food was really nice but not good value for the price of food other than that the staff was really nice and friendly
Fantastic food in a great location with lovely views. Amazing service with all staff going above and beyond to make the experience great!!
