The food is outstanding, the beef was amazing. I recommend the sharing platter so you can taste everything without it being too much. Depending on how hungry you are, 1 sharing platter is perfect for 4 people. all in all, AMAZING STEAK, might possible the best i've tried so far in London.

The positives were:
1. The food was excellent. Probably the best steaks we've eaten.
2. The staff were very good. Informative as to the cuts of meats and attentive to recharging glasses with wine / water.

The negatives were:
1. We were a party of 5 and the tables we were offered were really meant for 4 people. The first table was rectangular and three people was a tight squash one side of the table. The second table was round but wasn't big enough for the meal plates, side dishes and glasses. Also the round seat was clearly designed for two people - seating three, the two people on the side were having to sit at an angle to the seat which was uncomfortable by the end of the meal. One member of our party had to resort to peeling her prawns on her lap, which was a guessing game as she couldn't see what she was doing.
2. The lighting was dim where we sat (centre of restaurant). I had to use the torch on my phone to read the menu and it was difficult to see what we were eating.
3. The music was too loud and too much of a repetitive banging beat - more suited to a young person's nightclub than a fashionable eating establishment. It was very difficult to hear what people were saying.
4. We ordered Gambas (prawns) with our steaks and had to ask for finger bowls which seemed to come as a surprise. A good restaurant would normally provide finger bowls (without asking) with orders for prawns that need to be peeled.

All-in-all our experience was a disappointment and not one we could recommend to others. The good steaks are not worth the poor seating, lighting and noise.

Restaurant was in a great location looking out at tower bridge and the river Thames. We were greated by the front of house staff who were very friendly. Because we were early we were taken to the bar, the choice of drinks and cocktails for the ladies was excellent and bar staff were very helpful. We were taken to our table it was in the ideal position looking directly at Tower bridge and overlooking the Thames. The menu has a good choice of steaks and other food. The waitress came to the table with the raw cuts of steak and explained what they were. When the food came it was excellant and service was great. Gaucho’s restaurant really delivered great setting and great food

This venue is located on two floors by the River Thames and is overlooked by the Tower Bridge and City Hall. The restaurant's speciality is read meat and is complemented by a wide selection of Malbec wines from Argentina. Attentive and courteous staff.
A most enjoyable meal of sirloin steak and green salad that was consumed with a suitable bottle of red wine.

From the minute we walked though the door at Gaucho's Toeer Hill, we were made to feel welcome and were very well looked after. The chateaubriand we shared was amazing, as was our waiter Alessio who talked us through the different cuts of meat, how best to have them cooked and the wine to compliment the type of steak.

We would definitely recommend and will be going back

We visited for my sisters birthday and she had a fantastic time. My family loves this restaurant and we always have a good time. The service was a bit slow but they’d had a couple of people call in sick and they were so apologetic. Our waiter Ricardo was brilliant, he worked so hard to make the evening special for us.

Had a lovely meal at Gaucho Tower Bridge for my partners birthday. She absolutely loved dinner with a view. I had a beautiful steak smothered in Chimichurri marinade and my partner had the fillet which she loved. Wine was also great. Highly recommend for a special occasion. Waitress was asl superb.

Was very much looking forward to our meal but was disappointed. Restaurant was cold so had to put my coat on as did a couple of other people. Waitress was lovely and very attentive but said "your welcome" more times than I could count to the point of being really irritating. Had Sunday roast which arrived cold apart from roast potatoes. Son had steak which was tasty but chewy, fries were like those in McDonald's. Food was nice when re-heated. By way of apology a desert to share was brought out & coffee but nothing knocked off the bill. Was prepared to pay more than we usually would for outstanding food but unfortunately the food did not in any way justify what we paid & would never visit again, don't like getting ripped off.

Lovely ambience and beautiful view. Food was okay and can be improved. The roast looked great but was dry and without enough gravy. But the staffs were lovely and very approachable. It is a great location and i would definitely give more stars if they improve their food.

I’m not someone to write reviews at all. However, I booked an electro brunch 3 weeks in advance of my birthday through the website. Called up a few times before, quoting our booking, to check various allergens/timings, everything was apparently fine. When I turned up, I was told I had not paid a deposit and therefore couldn’t have the brunch, only standard menu, I had not been told once about the requirement for a deposit, else I would’ve paid it. The woman on the door was so rude to us, until she decided ‘just because it was our first time there’, we could have the brunch, but had to sit upstairs away from the DJ and other brunch guests, in silence. The starters were okay. We had the steak and eggs for the main, and it was extremely fatty, and the eggs were over cooked. There are many other brunches around London that are less expensive, better value, and don’t have the snooty attitude of staff at Gaucho. Avoid.

Booked last minute, we’d done the shine night walk for cancer research through the night so wanted to celebrate with a good meal, so asked if possible to have a window table as the view of tower bridge is spectacular. When we arrived we were given a lovely welcome and a window table! Our waitress was attentive and fantastic, she brought out the meats and explained all to us, recommended the wine, all the team seem to be proud of their restaurant and ooze enthusiasm. Thanks for a great meal and service will definitely be back and will recommend😁⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This was my second visit to Gaucho and it was fantastic. The food etc is brilliant as you would expect but the star of the show is the service which is outstanding. Not in your face but enough to make you feel very valued, our waiter remembered our table from our previous recent visit and even the wine we enjoyed so much. Truly top notch experience and great value for money at around a £100 for 3 courses with drinks.
