Gaucho Tower Bridge
You’ll struggle to find a better view or steak along the Southbank than at Gaucho Tower Bridge. Our restaurant soars over two, magnificent glass-fronted floors with panoramas of the historic London skyline with the Tower of London and Tower Bridge taking centre stage.
In warm and uncomplicated interiors, Gaucho Tower Bridge is the perfect location for guests to enjoy dusk to dawn dining, with our menu showcasing impeccable Argentinian steaks and Latin American plates. Our terrace, secluded cocktail bar, and private dining rooms offer a tranquil yet sophisticated experience with beautiful views across the River Thames. We cannot recommend enough ordering a bottle of one of our premium wines, taking a seat at the window and watching the sunset riverside.
Brilliant knowledgeable staff who gave us a memorable evening. Steaks were excellent and cooked perfectly. It’s not cheap but if you want a special evening then definitely give it a try
Beautiful food, service and view. They made an extra effort for my partners birthday which was lovely
Wonderful experience. I would like to open one in Madrid.
Amazing service and food outstanding. We loved it.
Food was poor
Very nice, great food/drink but expensive. Still would recommend :)
I have been to Gaucho before and wanted my brother to experience the great food they offer. Overall we had a nice evening and food was good. Prices continue to be high and this was the first time I wasn't sure it was quite worth it. That said, my steak was cooked just to my liking and we had a very friendly waiter.
Phoebe who was our host was absolutely lovely! We will definitely be visiting again.
Great Steakhouse as usual and the set menu lunch was enough for us although the price overall was probably about 20% too much at £200 with wine for 3
Restaurant pretty empty and soulless. Eat from the lunch menu - starters were “ok”. We both had lomo steaks. Pretty ordinary. Bearnaise sauce a claggy mess.
Staff polite and enthusiastic but food not really up to the mark
Good Location, nice main course, not impressed with the starters. Good wine menu, service friendly but not aware.
Tasty steak as expected, enjoyed the carafe of malbec as didn't fancy a whole bottle this time. One of the party ordered the roast dinner and very much enjoyed that too.
My kids love the beef so yummy they said
Came here for a friend’s birthday. Food was great, table was a little delayed but service was great.
My sons 18th Birthday was held here with family and we were made to fell very special , it was a lovely experience. Will definitely be going back again.
Had a booking for half 8pm,table was not ready so been asked if i can ask few minutes at the bar while hace a drink, was happy with that until i saw i was ignored for more then 20 min. Went back to reception to ask about my table and got another 5 minutes to wait. Amazing service but food was not amazing at all, nothing more the a grilled steak, no taste on it at all. At least a good wine list.
Nice ambient, food was well presented and delicious and the stuff are marvelous!
Me and my young children had a very lovely experience. Staff were polite and entertained my youngest before the food came out. They had fun and so did I. We shall be returning.
Steak had good flavor, but was slightly over cooked. Asparagus was cooked well, but was oily and tasted like it had the artificial bacon bits sprinkled over. Mac and cheese was perfect with 2 sharp cheeses: Parmesan and provolone. They were out of the Argentine Syrah by the glass, but the server provided a decent substitute Pinot Noir
Sunday lunch is very tasty, full of flavour and very satisfying at a very reasonable cost. A lovely lazy experience, perfect for a slow, mellow Sunday with no washing up.
I was there with my mum two days ago, and defenitely I can recommend this restaurant. All the staff it's so really kind and friendly and very polite. The views it's really fantastic because it's closed to the Tower Bridge. The food, we can say, it's worth it for the price.
Greeted by friendly staff initially, had to wait for our table and so had a drink at the bar. Cocktails were nice.
Sat at a lovely window table with a great view of a fully lit Tower Bridge and served by a very enthusiastic waiter.
Fillet was char-grilled which left the outside a little tough but a tender centre. Tira de ancho with chimichurri was spot on. Fries and spinach sides were exactly what they said on the tin, satisfactory but nothing more.
All in all a good experience, brought down only by the price. If you’re willing to pay the £30-60 for just the steak alone, then you can definitely find better steaks in London for that price.
A meal for two plus a cocktail each for £145 is approaching the more affordable Michelin star restaurant prices.
Food excellent. Perfect table, lucky with position. Would expect to be offered tap water and not be charged for it. But overall very enjoyable night.
Wonderful location, fabulous food..perfect for a special birthday celebration. Staff very attentive but as peak time hit (8pm Sat) the restaurant was extremely busy and service started to slip a little but we still had a very enjoyable evening.
Perfect for a special occasion, in the best location for views. Great service and great food. Would highly recommend.
Lovely steak, beautiful wine. Definitely recommend it to Hawksmoor
On arrival at our booked time our table with a view by the window was not ready. It was suggested to us that we could go to the bar upstairs to have a drink while we waited. I waited at the bar for 15 minutes before a member of staff arrived at the bar. 30 minutes later still nobody had collected us to seat us at our table so we went downstairs our self to see what the delay was. The staff seemed surprised to see us as if they had forgotten about us by which time our allocated table was now in use. We therefore had to sit at a table in the back without much of a view. The worst bit was we never received an apology or even an explanation for the issues. We will not be attending this restaurant again or recommending it to anyone.
The steaks were nicely cooked. Friendly staffs, portion of the starters is small.
Food was excellent and the service provided by Lukasz was also excellent. Steaks were cooked to perfection, good selection of wines and the recommended cheesecake was lovely. Would eat here again and in fact we checked if there was a Gaucho restaurant near our home in Edinburgh.
Good service, great wine and cocktail list. Food was ok but didn't feel special enough for the cost.
Always a special evening at Gaucho! Fantastic food, excellent service and a stunning view of Tower Bridge. Highly recommend!
Had a business dinner meal here. Im all for a waiter helping but the guy we had was just upsell upsell upsell. Even the clients I was out with thought he was a bit too much. Im not sure if he'd just had 3 expresso's or whether he is told to upsell aggressively but it was a little too much.
Food was good as it usually is at Gaucho's so no complaints there.
We had a wonderful experience. It was my mums birthday and every member of staff made her feel so special and even brought over a card for her. The food was perfect, all staff were knowledgeable, helpful and attentive. The atmosphere was very relaxed and was perfect.
For a first time experience the food and service was first class
Excellent choice of menu and food was superb. Staff very efficient and friendly. Lovely setting over looking the river.
A very enjoyable evening and food served at a good pace. Service was friendly and informal. It is an expensive place to eat for a steak and sides with little change out of £100 a head making it a treat rather than a regular repeat customer
Great experience, food and drinks. Special mention to our waiter 'Rafa' who was fantastic!
We had a lovely meal, first time at Gaucho. The team were passionate about their job & were clearly asked to up sell specific things, done in the right way though. We ordered the prawns due to the selling of the waitress however they were a bit disappointing, slightly overcooked & despite being peeled, they weren't peeled properly. Overall it was a great, one off experience for my boyfriend's birthday, not sure if anything is done for birthdays though as it was asked upon booking but nothing came of it. Either way, it was a good meal with attentive service in a nice environment for a special occasion. Thanks!
As usual another excellent evening with friends and even a firework display laid on
My Birthday was amazing at gaucho , best dinner I ever had amazing experience
