    I was a bit worried that I had booked too early (5.30pm) before going to a show at the conference centre but the timing was perfect. Along of course, with the food and the whole meal for 4 of us. Everything was great and the bill was about £40 a head - we shared some starters, had wine, beers, mains, 3 deserts and 3 coffees. All of which was delicious, especially my sea bass ravioli and we all LOVED the ice cream.

    Great choice of food from starters to puds and alcoholic drinks too. The food was very tasty and nice to eat Italian food different from other Italian restaurants. We liked the open kitchen and that the chef came roun chatting to tables where I guess he knew the people given the chat. We went on a Sunday evening and would advise booking ahead to guarantee a table. Service was included in the bill.

    We don’t live in Harrogate so it’s always a special trip to go to Gianni’s and we are ‘foodies’ and never disappointed. We esp enjoy the fish platter to share and the homemade ravioli. This visit we took our 2 grandsons (9&6 yrs) who were welcomed and had lovely rapport with the waiters. Looking forward to our next visit already.

    It became clear as last diners to arrive (we could have booked a later table) we weren't expected to have a relaxed meal. We were rushed from the start, even though we weren't in the mood to linger anyway. Staff were closing down the place around us. It irked us. Wine list very expensive for an informal pizza and pasta place. Won't rush back.

    Whenever we are in Harrogate we visit Brio. It is consistently excellent and worth travelling forty miles for the experience. None of our local restaurants can touch it.

    Visited as part of an annual trip to Harrogate for what has now become a traditional Saturday lunchtime visit to Gianni's Brio. Great food, great service and great value. A firm family favourite!

    Our meal was excellent however the service was non existent. We would have liked to have ordered more drinks and some more bread but the waiter never came over and we couldn’t catch the waiters eye.

    Consistently good food - Gianni is a master when it comes to running a restaurant. Always good quality, freshly prepared & cooked. The surroundings are starting to get a bit tired but are perfectly adequate.
