Afternoon Tea at Second Floor Bar & Brasserie Manchester
The first location opened in the newly refurbished Corn Exchange, Manchester and was quickly followed by a second restaurant, in Euston Station, central London. We are now excited to announce the opening of our third brand-new Gino D’Acampo My Restaurant in Leeds on the Central Park Row.
The Manchester location seats 250 guests and offers a seat at cicchetti bar, with the addition of a large outside area, which leads onto the bustling Exchange Square, facing high end retailers Selfridges and Harvey Nichols. Diners will also have the option to dine in or takeaway, ensuring that local city centre residents have a new high end takeaway option to add to their speed dials.

The food was a little disappointing as we did order steak medium rare and it came medium to well which should not happen in a place like this, the potatoes that came with the other meals where not seasoned as the menus suggested and under cooked . On the plus side the manager did pay for some drinks and the sweets which is all you can ask didn't leave disappointed and would give it another chance.
Would highly recommend. Great food, cocktails and fantastic atmosphere. The staff are very friendly and helpful
Food was ready too quickly, definitely not freshly done. Served mains of a lasagna an penn pasta within 10 mins. Gave the waiter a tip of 5 pound coins but did tell them that out of the bill we wanted a £10 note back, An they never returned. I had to ask for it as there tip otherwise would of been £15 which I was not willing to pay due to the service. Felt our dinning in Liverpool was a much better service and enjoyed the food a whole lot more. I would be grateful to experience it all over again with a gift voucher . Thank you.
Another lovely meal with very attentive staff. A very enjoyable evening with delicious food. The standards are always very high. Never been disappointed on any visit
Really nice authentic italian, love ginos recipes though, I've made a few myself and recommend his pasta cookbooks. All the staff are very friendly, we were in a rush and they squeezed us in and served us really quickly as requested which was great.
I had the seafood linguine . Very tasty except I had 3 large prawns with shells on , of which only one had the actual prawn in. Funnily enough, reading reviews before we booked, someone else said this ! I didnt complain as I felt a little embarrased as I was with someone I didnt know well .
I would come again to your restaurant and probably have the same dish as I love seafood, but definitely will say something next time if the same happens
Always enjoy the warm welcome and ambience at Gino’s but unfortunately on this occasion the service between courses was very rushed.
Lots of issues with the whole experience. Had to chase our drinks order, water order, request Parmesan whilst wasn’t offered, half of the starter options were unavailable. The food quality was very average. The convenience of being near to the arena where we are going to a concert was the only positive.
Couldn’t fault the service! Amazing food as always
Lovely atmosphere, very attentive staff and great food! Looking forward to next time already
The Staff are great and friendly. The food is delicious
Although we had booked we stood and waited a while as all stools at bar were taken . One couple who arrived after us were taken and seated at bar as we were left standing . Then another couple who had not booked were seated at a table prior to us , as we just stood in the way . That spoilt it a little for us . Once seated the rest of the evening was lovely .
Having coming up from Plymouth I was very disappointed with the meal. Family members from Manchester had told me to try somewhere else to eat, but being an establish TV personality I would have thought the food was tasteful.
My wife had the chicken and I must say we talk about things being tough, I tried a piece and it was tasteless and very hard to chew.
They offered my wife, something else of the menu, as I had finished my food it was not appropriate for her to sit eating after I had finished.
I come up home a few times a year, and I will not be going back, it’s a shame as the restaurant decor was very tasteful and went with the Italian look.

Excellent food and service. Very crowded with tables very close together.
My friends and myself enjoyed the food we did find it pricey but it was a special occasion . We sat outside as it was a beautiful day which was perfect apart from the music from the restaurant which was far too loud to be able to hear one another speak. The staff were very attentive and polite.
Food and service very good. Nice place. Very busy but accommodating. BUT £17.50 for 2 glasses of wine outrageous. Only thing that spoilt our experience. No need to charge so much in top of a 2 course meal.
Second time we’ve been before a show at the Arena. The whole experience from start to finish was a delight. The Bailey’s panna cotta is a must!
Excellent service and really tasty food! The atmosphere was vibrant and fun.
This was a get together with friends we all enjoyed the atmosphere the food was delicious and service excellent.
Amazing fresh italian food that packs flavour. Balanced menu with good selection of foods to suit all. Nice relaxed atmosphere, reasonably priced, friendly staff, one of my favourite places to eat. Can highly reccomend the lobster or crab lingine and the chocolate pistachio cake. Im getting hungry just thinking about it. Yum.
We came here for our anniversary and the food was outstanding! The service from the staff was exceptional too.
Simple eloquent and delicious. Food cooked from fresh and served with a smile.
Staff were happy to accommodate when my friend was delayed in route. Thoroughly enjoyed the meal and the chef tweaked a starter at my request, adding pecorino and honey, a favourite of mine. Service was good without being overbearing. Liked the layout of the restaurant.
Only thing that let the experience down was the state of the ladies toilets. Very poor lighting, toilets were dirty, broken lock on one door, loose toilet roll holder and it felt like the hand soap had been watered down weirdly. You want to come out of a toilet feeling clean.
Very good as usual.
Waiter spoke very little English which made it hard to communicate. Other than that a good night. Food was amazing couldn’t fault it
Been many times and never disappoints. Brilliant service all round will be back.
Average. Service could have been better and food was no more than OK. Very noisy, even for early evening. The Leeds restaurant was much better, in terms of service, quality of food and ambience. There are better restaurants in Manchester.
The prosecco and pizza restaurant is now my eating place of choice whenever I visit Manchester. The atmosphere is vibrant, the staff very helpful and attentive. The food is delicious, not been disappointed yet. Best of all you can sign up for a loyalty card and gain points every time you eat. Thoroughly recommend a visit.
Lovely place to go and eat, food was delicious. Staff were very friendly, would definately eat there again.
on entering the restaurant we were taken straight to our table with menus wait was over with in a few moments for our drink order the food was out standing as always
my only thing was we did wait a while in between courses even though the place was rather quiet we waited about 20 min for the dessert menu .
but will not stop us coming back as we do love the food and thats the first time anything we have waited for
we do like coming to manchester first
Read a lot of reviews of people saying that they were rushed. Completely disagree. Lovely service and lovely food.
Booked a table for 1630 and had confirmation email. Upon speaking to rude staff at restaurant was told that my booking was 1500. Load of rubbish don't waste your time
First time here, my daughter booked it for my birthday. It had really nice decor and felt very modern but still homely an warm. Good atmosphere and good service.
I would go back again.
Food was absolutely gorgeous just felt a little rushed had a 2 course meal and a large wine all in 40 minutes. Would have liked a bit of time between starter and main. Again felt like was being rushed along.
Our only criticism would be the service, felt a bit rushed and waiter was quite abrupt!!
Unfortunately food was great as usual, but let down by feeling pressured by waiting staff desperately trying to get rid of you, even though the restaurant wasn’t full
I was charged service charge without being asked which added another £6 to meal. We had the lunch menu. We had earlier in the day been to pizza and processco cafe and ate lunch where we had not been charged the service charge.
Really enjoyed our evening. Gluten free menu one of the best I have come across.
However although we booked via opentable site when we arrived the Restaurant had not got us included on their reservations list and we were very lucky to get a table. It could have ruined our trip to Manchester
Great as always !
