Gino My Restaurant - Euston
Gino D’Acampo My Restaurant, Euston Station, London, is the second restaurant to be opened by the UK’s favourite Italian chef.
The Euston Station restaurant seats 150 guests and offers a sit at cicchetti bar, with the addition of a large outside area which stands proud, overseeing the action of the station concourse.
Serving breakfast, brunch, lunch, dinner until late the restaurant serves food all day, everyday. Guests will dine from a menu specially created by Gino, with many of the recipes coming from his books and TV shows.
We had booked a table for two which was a nice table but it was very hot inside no aircon and stank of fries so we asked to sit outside and we’re given a very nice table. Outside is upstairs opposite the departure board at Euston station which was good fun and easy for conversation. The food was ok, we had an excellent pizza to share and good beer and wine. They were not very busy at 16-00 hrs but the all male pretend Italian service team was poor. We also had to send the side plates offered back as they were dirty.
Food was bland, no toilets so had to pay to use toilets in station, asked if we wanted bread with our food but waiter never explained that this would be added to the bill, restaurant did not meet our expectations, we will not be visiting again!
Great to have a good restaurant in the heart of Euston station - super convenient meeting family and then catching the train back to Brum.
A lovely hidden gem inside Euston train station. My husband and I had the seafood linguine, it was delicious! The waiting staff were friendly, attentive and very courteous. We found that all the items on the menu were recipes you can find in Gino’s Cook books - I really liked that! We would highly recommend this restaurant for its great range of food and fantastic staff.
Food was very good and the staff were very friendly and helpful.
went for breakfast - omelette was lovely - would have been good to have been asked if we wanted toast or bread - we had to ask for this after our omelette had arrived. Mocha did not arrive and had to ask for it.
we did say we would pay £12 each, when we looked at what we were charged it was £12.05 and £12.04 (our bill was £34 and change). wanted to pay with card and put in pin. the machine took it as contactless and spouted out the receipt so could not query how much it took!
Lovely breakfast to end our weekend trip! Sausages are very tasty.
Definitely be back very impressed with the food and staff were extremely friendly
Very dedicated and helpful staff, table ready on time on a busy Friday night before Christmas. Food was very good, as in what I would have expected of a good Italian restaurant, and so was the wine. It is a very busy place at the best of times - and, being located in Euston station, the announcements are heard amongst the busy place. But it is a very good option if you wish to have a decent dinner before heading for the sleeper train north!
I booked this and the staff called me back as I asked about Gluten Free food. They were very helpful and polite. On the night all trains into Euston were seriously delayed so we couldn't get in to the carol service and had to cancel the booking. Again the staff were lovely. I obviously didn't eat the food but left 5 stars as I wasn't sure if it would lower their rating if I didn't rate it. We'd like to go again and when we do I'll rate it then
Breakfast was nice! Staff were amazing! So friendly. Atmosphere was great.
The restaurant and staff were lovely.
However, there is not a toilet on the premises. You have to walk across the concourse of Euston Station and pay 30p to go to the toilet. If you had popped to the toilet with no money on you, you would have to go back to the restaurant and then back to the toilet.
We started with a bread platter, leading straight into a main meal. Never disappointed on the food front. The rose wine was gorgeous and complimented the lunch.
Always have a lovely meal here while waiting to get the train back to Liverpool. Great to sit on the balcony overlooking all the commuters who are waiting to catch their train.
Food is always prepared really quickly and the staff are always lovely!
Service was a little haphazard - right hand didn't seem to know what the left doing. Had to ask to order practically everything.
Otherwise, staff very friendly and welcoming. Food great.
However, they really should have built some toilets! OR, at the very least, WARN diners that they will have to spend 30p to spend 'a penny' at the regular station toilets - a long walk there with no money on me, only to have to come back and grab purse.
Didn't realise this is essentially a fast food outlet, small dining area inside with a larger balcony area overlooking Euston Station concourse.
Made to feel very welcome on arrival with a nice table reserved inside. Starters lovely, especially the pate but main courses slightly disappointing, the Mozzarella Chicken Breast comes with no vegetables so all extras. So ended up being pretty expensive for the 4 of us for a fairly mediocre atmosphere but the staff were lovely if a bit forgetful.
We had a great evening . Restaurant very busy due to Euston delays . Despite this friendly helpful service and delicious food
I got the train times wrong and I googled restaurants near Euston, Gino's came up as one of top ten Tripadvisors best! The food was sensational, we haven't had Italian food as good as that since Don Antonios of Withington Manchester in the 80s. The staff were great fun and the service exemplary. 10/10 - thank you for a superb lunch we will be back! Manchester is closer to us so that's next. xxx
This is a very attractive looking restaurant in a very convenient location in Euston Station. It uses the Euston public toilet facilities for its guests. The decor is modern and attractive, and the premises are clean. You can see the kitchen and the food is prepared on site. The staff are friendly and reasonably efficient. Unfortunately the food is very disappointing. My wife and I ordered the calamari to start, which was well done in a light tempura batter with a tasty mayonnaise. My wife ordered the seafood linguine, which was terrible. The seafood was going off, and the tomato sauce it was served in was heavy and oily. I tried the calzone which looked OK, but the inside was undercooked. We decided to cut our losses, and didn't bother with dessert. These items and bottle of Pellegrino came to £50. Very poor value. You can get better food at Pizza Express for a fraction of the cost.
I have visited this restaurant twice since I found it. The staff are friendly and very attentive. On both occasions the service was very good and the food outstanding.
The Bucatini Cabonara was delicious and one of the best I have tasted - important to me as Cabonara is my favourite Italian dish. Terrible sweet tooth so the Chocolate Fondant was to die for.
They have an outdoor section where you can sit and watch the world go by. Great if you don't mind the train announcements as it's at the station.
The food and service were excellent. Un fortunately when came to using the loo it was a major let down; i.e no loo! I was told I had to walk to the public toilets at platform 1, queue and pay 30p. Not impressed as the restaurant is on the first floor and the 2 minute walk there and back meant my food wasn't as fresh when I got back. Also my wife has walking problems so for her it was awful. Not impressed!!
The first thing that's absolutely annoying is that there are no toilets in the restaurant . You have to hike all the way downstairs to the end of the station .. then queue with the throngs & pay!!! That in itself would prevent me ever recommending it for anything other than a stop over meal on a journey!!
I ordered an omelette .. it came on the plate with nothing.. no side dressing, no toast .. I asked for toast , which arrived promptly .. no butter..
the food however was lovely & hot..
we had Belinis with brunch as no Buck's Fizz available..
coffee was Luke warm..
Service was good & decor just felt like you were in a a pop up cafe..
Tables outside were unbearably noisy from the constant train announcemenus!!
Which is fine if your travelling .. but a restaurant for any other occasion.. I think not ...
Absolutely amazing! Would have no problem recommending to anyone!
The restaurant was empty, but still the service was poor - was having a breakfast meeting- the waiter informed us half the menu was unavailable . I had the Italian breakfast - the sausage was raw, I asked for ketchup twice - didn't get it , the bacon was a piece of rind and the poached eggs were harder than bullets . It was disgusting ... seriously this place won't be open for long
Food was OK, wine was over priced, and very disappointed that there is no toilets for customer use (was told to use station toilets). Not what I want to hear when I'm taking out the mother and father in-law.
Lovely food and service, only gripe was the air conditioning dripping water into the tables and customers below, but not much of a problem. The food was excellent, very filling and I was surprised at the price, would go again next time I'm down in London.
Amazing food. Very friendly staff. Nice atmosphere. Fantastico!!
Good food and friendly staff.i would definitely recommend this restaurant.
Was disappointed. No toilets in restaurant had to use toilets on platform. Food good but caught off guard by 12% service charge which wasn't made clear in menu 😒
UNFORTUNATLY WE DID NOT STAY AS IT WAS NOT WHAT I WAS EXPECTING
PICK THE RESTURANT UP AND PUT IT IN A NICER LOCATION NOT A TRAIN STATION!!
Very prompt and courteous service. Good cocktails and lovely filtered water for the table. My pizza was nice and thin with plenty of topping while my friend's pasta looked good. Good to see proper service for a change: all the excess glasses and cutlery items were removed, the table was cleaned between courses and we were given proper cloth napkins rather than flimsy paper ones. Little details but they made a good impression, thank you! We stayed for 2 hours without any hassle too. Overall, highly recommended.
Unable to rate. We arrived to find the restaurant CLOSED. A notice advised us that there were maintenance issues. It would appear OPEN TABLE had not been informed and we were not advised of the closure. Very disappointing.
Restaurant was closed for a week yet took the booking. No message was left to advise closure. Arrived for a family birthday only to end up looking for a new venue. Not impressed.
Attentive staff. Quality and hot food.
Didn't realise the restaurant was in the station. Service was really slow and the restaurant was empty. Waiters were very nice and helpful, just not as quick as they could have been. Food and wine nice. Would only recommend restaurant if waiting for a train.
Went with a friend but we were disappointed with the food and service.
Food was amazing, we were in London for a weekend and this started it off brilliantly, staff were very friendly and nothing was to much effort
Reservation was cancelled three hours before we were due to dine because 'they were closing early'. No where else was available on short notice. Ruined my evening.
Gino's never disappoints.
Our go-to each time we travel from Euston Station.
Lovely friendly staff who goes beyond their call of duty as does the kitchen who kindly modified my dish against.
They are prompt and never leaves you feeling stress about missing your train considering most of them are either late or cancelled these days...
Had table booked for 9pm as a nice treat and start to a holiday. Arrived to be told they'd decided to close early so that we could have a pizza if we would eat quickly - even this offer was evidently begrudged so decided to give it a miss and won't be in a hurry to book again
