We had Sunday lunch - we weren't sure that they did Sunday roast as no menu on line, but they did and it was gorgeous. Everything was cooked to perfection, very tasty and good service and loads of it - def recommend More

From the moment that we arrived we received a warm welcome. Our waiter was friendly, attentive and knowledgeable - she gave excellent service. We went for the pre-theatre menu which was very tasty. I've rated the ambience lower as there were only 2 couples eating at the time of our visit. We'll definitely be returning as we want to try out the a la carte menu. Excellent value for money! More

Delicious Sunday lunch with 2 friends and our 3 children. My husband and I shared the roast lamb shoulder which was plentiful and luxurious. Our kids had small roast dinners which were also generous portions (although I would recommend asking for the gravy to be served separately as 2 out of the 3 children complained about their food being gravy soaked). The grown-ups shared a fabulous bottle of Spanish red wine, and would have had a second bottle but the lack of cellular signal or wifi meant the kids got restless. There was a dog accompanying the adjacent table to ours and though he settled down fairly quickly after our arrival, he did also coat my jacket in white hairs as he brushed past me a few times for his comfort breaks. I would prefer the option to not sit next to a dog whilst eating if possible. Our waitress was superb - good humoured, efficient and professional. I would definitely recommend The Wild Duck for a hearty Sunday lunch with family and friends. More

We visited on Sunday 15/04/18 and have nothing but good things to say - food was excellent (even though they had run out of Sunday Roasts). Service was fabulous and would recommend to anyone More
